I booked a standard room for one night. The appearance of the hotel from the outside and inside is very attractive, the room is small, but very cozy and bright. Everything you need was placed on the 19th floor, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and bright.
Of the cons: there are no pairs of slippers in the room. There are only two empty shelves for things in the closet, all the others are occupied by a safe and additional bedding. There is no iron on the floor, I had to go down to the reception and drag the iron along with the ironing board to the room.
The receptionists at the reception do not know Russian, they communicate very dryly. English is also questionable, so far they have named the cost and corrected each other three times. In general, we had to involve a bartender for communication, who, thank God, knows Russian.
There are also no cutlery and dishes in the room, you need to ask at the reception.
We have been staying at this hotel for more than 10 years. To be honest, it has always been good in it, especially the beds, we sleep on it with pleasure. The breakfast has become a little better over the years, the rooms are also good after renovation. But the price is only rising. The old town is close, easy to walk. The room is very clean as always, but the rooms are small. We ordered an improved room, but there was no bidet and bathtub as described, a bit unexpected for an improved room. Parking is a little cheaper than in other hotels, but we have not been offered underground parking for a long time, but only on the street near the old house.
I didn't like it · We've been staying for so many years, but there was no such negative attitude at the reception. The administrator Krista smiles sweetly, but pretends that she does not understand Russian. I had to explain it to her in English. At first, they were indignant, as in a hotel where most tourists are Russian-speaking, you can put a hotel face without knowing Russian, with the rest of the staff speaking. But then we saw Krista calmly talking in Russian with the supplier, i.e. she smiles sweetly at you and says she doesn't understand, while simply ignoring you. Apparently it's time to choose other hotels, especially in the Swiss hotel and others the price is slightly higher, but the rooms are much larger and with huge bathtubs with a Jacuzzi, and not as we got with a shower in an improved room.
Great hotel, the breakfast is amazing. But, alas, they do not speak Russian at the reception 🤷🏻♀️
The climate didn't work very well in the room, it was cool.
But all this is a quibble, the hotel is wonderful! Dream bath!
