Excellent location of the hotel for good reasonable money! A wonderful breakfast in the morning! I took ground coffee with me and a lot of food! We stayed at this hotel on Sunday, April 13th and were satisfied. The location is very good. You leave the hotel, turn left and a quiet wide street leads to Sultanahmet Square. In the evening, the beautiful illuminated sights of the city open: Hagia Sophia Cathedral, Blue Mosque, there is a tram stop right away from which you can get to Gulhane Park, Dolmabahce Palace, Istanbul University, Grand Bazaar, Bayazit Square.
Friends, if you are choosing a place to stay in Istanbul, do not settle for this hotel. Its only advantage is its location. After walking a little way down the street, you will come out to the blue Mosque. That's where the advantages end.
Initially, they indicated that they needed a room with two separate beds and this was confirmed at the time of booking, but for some reason they gave a different one upon check-in: one and a half double beds and a shower door, through which only someone thin could squeeze, because the door no longer opened. Now imagine that after moving and flying, you want to relax, but you probably won't be able to do it here. After they contacted and arranged a showdown with the local tour operator, they were moved to the room opposite the next day. Two beds, bigger seats, and even a bathtub rather than a shower. But they weren't happy for long. In the evenings, to get hot water, it had to be drained for a long time. And considering that there was trouble with plumbing in the rooms, a flood formed in the bathroom and everything had to be covered with towels (photo attached)
There's mold and mildew in the bathroom.
There's nothing to say about breakfast, it's as meager as possible. Cucumber, tomato, egg (there's a variety: boiled or omelet) and sausages. Basically everything. Only the amazing bread saved. So they ate it
The last point was the day of departure, the transfer was at 10 a.m., and breakfast was at 7:30 a.m. Of course, we decided to have a hearty breakfast before the long journey, but that was not the case! Apparently we were the last ones left in this wonderful hotel, so we went downstairs, and there were 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of sausage, a slice of tomato and 2 olives on the table for us. Thank God the tea was poured. They asked for bread. The employee guy ran to the nearest market and brought bread. Well, that's how it turns out bread is full again.
In general, my advice is to look for something better here.
Friendly attitude of the staff. The equipment, alas, is worn out. And so much so that routine repairs won't help. That's probably why it's not being repaired.
In the first room, where we were directed, there was a safe with the bolts pulled out, in order to use it, we needed a password that no one knew. There was a mini fridge that did not freeze. The reception was very surprised by this, they tried to fix it, but alas. Don't they check the numbers before handing in? Apparently not.
The problem was solved - we were given another room with a larger area. I was pleased, thanks to the staff. The safe and refrigerator were working in the new room, but there was also a plumbing problem - the shower hose was leaking, and water was leaking onto the floor. Of course, they couldn't replace the hose. And as I understand it, the problem is in the design of the bathtub. To replace the hose, the tub must be moved away from the wall and then the joint must be sealed again. That's why I'm writing that maintenance won't help.
Breakfast - there are 7 salads, sausages, omelette to choose from. The bad thing is that the line-up doesn't change, it's the same every day. Coffee in a kettle, tea bags. That was enough. You won't stay hungry, but it's monotonous.
Great hotel, we had a rest at the end of February, cleaning every day, the rooms for this price are great! TV, split! Nice beds, warm blankets! The reception staff was friendly and the receptionists were friendly. Everything was explained and prompted on each question. Maybe we'll come back!
The hotel is of an average level, pleased with the daily cleaning and change of towels 👍👍👍
The big plus of this hotel is the location. Everything is within walking distance. It was very convenient for us.
We were with a friend in Istanbul in October this year.We stayed in this hotel.Positive:very convenient location, near the Blue Mosque, tram stops, exchange offices, many cafes-everything is within walking distance, friendly staff, solved all problems quickly, instead of a single room we were accommodated in a double room with separate toilets and showers to each room, it was very convenient, the rooms were clean, towels were changed every day. Negative:monotonous breakfasts, there is no kettle in the room and tea accessories-glasses, spoons-nothing, they asked for a thermos in the room, they always gave it, thank you.
The hotel is normal, the rooms are small, we came for 3 days for excursions. The WiFi is excellent, the breakfast is good, the room was given on the third floor with a view of the blue ball
It's okay, but breakfast is potatoes, catfish sliced in tomato sauce, some kind of cold sauce and boiled eggs. And it's been 6 days that we've been the same. The coffee and tea are really not delicious. There was almost no hot water. NLRM staff. Nothing was cleaned in 6 days, only the garbage was taken out and the towels were folded.
The hotel is generally good, if you don't find fault with the condition of the rooms. The rooms are already a little tired, but it is quite acceptable to spend the night. The location of the hotel is excellent, there are many attractions within walking distance. The receptionist is Karina, a very pleasant and responsive girl, special thanks to her!
I put 5 stars, since the 2.2 rating that is currently in the rating is definitely not deserved, in fact, the real rating is 4. In general, I liked everything, the rooms are cozy and clean, cleaning and changing towels every day, the staff is very friendly, the manager and part of the staff are Russian-speaking. I liked everything about the food, it wouldn't hurt to have a little more variety. In general, I recommend it! The historical center is 2 minutes away, a cafe at every step, near a supermarket, a store with alcohol)

All that's good about this hotel is its location.
The rooms are terribly damp. They changed my room because the bathroom in the first one was broken (water was flowing all over the room) and the fixtures in the wall were uprooted. We moved to a bigger room, but there's black mold on the bathroom ceiling.
Breakfasts are just a name. Don't pay for them at all. They bring 3 slices of tomato, some cheese, bread, olives and... 2 boiled eggs (one per person) or make an omelet out of them....
If possible, pay extra for any other place near this hotel. As long as it's clean.
This is the most terrible place that unfortunately I had to visit, the name of the hotel has 4 stars, but this is a lie, it looks more like a boarding house for the homeless! Mold everywhere, mold again, dust and dirt, torn bedding, everything is falling apart and held on tape, four-day, cherished salads, and finally, a broken safe and as a result, about $ 50 was stolen from our room!!! This is all despite the fact that I left a $10 tip at check-in and asked for a good room... Never in your life, even for free, agree to move in here! On the second day, my wife and I ran away from here to another hotel!
Poorly cleaned bathroom, interlayer seams in mold, dirt on the edges of the bathroom and under the rim of the toilet, which is visible when taking a shower. For two days I asked to clean the bathroom and the bathroom well, but apparently my ideas about cleanliness are different from theirs. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation.
We had a rest in August 2023, I must say right away that the hotel, working with the tour operator, does not worry about the service at all. Customers will be here and so. Of the advantages, the location and rooms are normal, the safe was broken upon check-in, and no one repaired it for 7 days, despite daily reminders and requests from our side, I think that the next guests will also be promised to fix it. For the first time in Turkey, I encountered such an uneatable breakfast, not enough dishes, I do not advise it, it's Sultan Ahmed, and there is hospitality on every corner, but not in this hotel. But we will forgive, because Istanbul is beautiful and we will not return to this place, but we will definitely come to beautiful Istanbul, but I do not recommend laukos, choose other options
Awful. For two.
Not a 4 star hotel in any way.
The room was poorly cleaned upon check-in. There are sticky spots on the table. The toilet door won't close. In the shower, too, and even black mold.
One plus, the location.
The staff is also welcome only upon check-in.
Three-course breakfasts.
I don't recommend it, you can find a better hotel for that kind of money.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location, many attractions can be reached on foot, and there is a tram stop nearby. The rooms are small but cozy. The breakfasts are ordinary. The receptionist is very attentive, speaks Russian.
Breakfasts could have been better. It's a strange set of grated vegetables for me. Milk is made from milk. The staff is indifferent. There are constantly not enough dishes for breakfast..either the milk is running out, or the coffee...you wait for 15 minutes..
the room had a bathroom. To take a bath, I did not wait for a cork from 04/28 to 1.05, although I asked.
The view from the window is magnificent.
The taxi is cheating. I ordered a taxi from the hotel to the airport, the reception said 500 lira. The taxi driver asked for 650 lire.
There are enough hotels with this view. With more adequate staff and a varied breakfast.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The room stock is completely different. At first, they settled in a standard room. One star maximum. Everything is broken: a hair dryer, sockets, the TV doesn't even have wires. The issue was resolved for an additional fee. They moved to a room on the 5th floor. This is a completely different level. Panoramic windows overlooking St. Sophia Cathedral and the Blue Mosque. There are no breakfasts, it is impossible to wait for coffee, because the coffee maker is constantly clogged. The hotel is more for a short stay.

Keep in mind that this is Turkey, there is a star system of its own hotels here! Very tiny rooms, tired repairs, plumbing is broken, curtains are torn, but at least it's clean. I can't say anything good about breakfast at all, there's nothing to eat at all. All this is brightened up by very pleasant Russian-speaking receptionists. In my opinion, this is the best thing that happened at the hotel
The hotel is terrible, the renovation was done 15 years ago, everything flows everywhere in the bathtub, the wallpaper is torn, the food is as average as everywhere else.In our room, the door was broken, the owner was crawling that we did not understand Turkish, he wanted to hang it all on us at the eviction.I wrote something on paper and asked to sign it, when asked what it was, I just said eviction)))Fortunately, there was a guy from Dagestan, he read what was written there and translated it.The owner is not a decent person. But there are definitely no 4 stars there, maximum 2.
Nice staff - 3 stars just for that. The breakfasts are not delicious, the rooms are tired, there was no hot water in the shower periodically. Convenient location!
We arrived at the hotel and are already solving the issue of a refund, in short: mold in the shower, old mattresses with protruding springs, blankets with hair, lack of water, kettle. We contacted the hotel manager, they showed us two more rooms - the situation is the same there. The answer was that we would not change the mattresses, and that their hotel had always been like this, and if the tour operator was deceiving us, then deal with him. I do not recommend it, avoid it for any money)
Dear travelers, this is a terrible hotel! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! From the word NEVER!!!!!!!
We came with our family, a 4-year-old child. At the Reception, Mehmet, a man of about 40 years old, unpleasant, checked in last. They asked the child to go to the toilet as soon as possible, eat, etc. now I will send a photo.
The rooms are old!!!!!! The breakfasts are tasteless, sausage, egg, old furniture.
Tired, old hotel. The owner clearly does not like Russians. The issues are not being resolved. They didn't even find a flower vase on my birthday! At the reception you will not be understood at all.I do not recommend it.
A very nice hotel! Friendly staff, very kind! The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable! There is only one minus-there are no batteries to dry the laundry, but this is not a question for the hotel, it's just that heating is not provided in Turkey!
The hotel is cool, I advise you!
