A cool inexpensive hotel near the border! Clean and inexpensive! A bungalow is the best place to live. Communication with the Russian administrator! Thanks! It's a pity that we can't go, we miss you
A good option is to spend the night on the way to Helsinki. The airport is still 130 km or 1.5 hours away. A simple hotel, the Internet does not work in all rooms, breakfast is also not sanatorium, but inexpensive. For one night it is optimal
To be honest, I haven't been there for a long time. But in my memory it remained a comfortable, cozy hotel with a nice pool, a hot sauna and excellent breakfasts.
Great hotel, great staff. We stopped several times .
It's a pity that it became unavailable.
Thank you for the rest and services provided at the hotel.
We hope that times will return and we will stay at Leikari😊
A very cozy and clean hotel, we took a room in a bungalow. It is convenient, you immediately leave the room and park the car. In winter, this is especially important, because you start a car on autorun and get into a warm car.
Despite the fact that there is a road nearby towards Helsinki, there is almost no sound in the bungalow. Those who ride with a dog, like us, this is the best option.
There is a large hypermarket nearby where you can buy groceries.
For the European troika, room repairs are very "weak". In one of the rooms, the soap dispenser did not work, in the other there was no liquid soap at all. Wi-fi was not connected in one of the bungalow rooms. The idea of the interior of the corridors is not clear, in my opinion, it looks tasteless. Among the advantages: comfortable mattresses, new white towels, clean rooms, a good assortment for breakfast, but the coffee is not delicious.
The hotel is convenient for those who drive their own car. Because near the highway. Pros- the breakfast is delicious, varied, clean, the room has a hairdryer, refrigerator, 3 towels, slippers, good Wi-Fi. Cons- there is no shelf in the shower, I had to put soap and shampoo on the floor. There is no iron, no battery, nowhere to dry, underwear, there is no Russian channel, consider that there is no TV, the staff at the reception does not understand Russian, the bed in a single room is narrow. In general, the hotel is normal, 1-2 nights will go.
A roadside budget hotel near the border. For a maximum of 1 night. There is absolutely nothing nearby, just the highway. The rooms are very shabby. There are Russian-speaking staff.
Hotel Leikari is located next to the E-18 motorway, which runs from Valimaa to Helsinki. The hotel has all the conditions for a good rest. Each room has a bathroom, a shower room, a balcony with a patio. If this is the first floor, then with access to the terrace. There is convenient parking for motorists. The rooms are arranged in tiers with beautiful corridors. At the entrance to the landing, additional lighting automatically flashes for comfortable movement up or down the stairs. And as in any hotel in Finland, you enter the room on your own with your key. Everything in the rooms is simple and comfortable from the point of view of ergonomics. There are sockets on each wall and coffee-type tables nearby and convenient for some kind of written business with a party portfolio, which briefly describes the rules of use, how to log in to Wi-fi, by the way, it is free and works decently. You can also find information about the bar, restaurant, and dishes that can be purchased. Breakfast is cheaper than in some other hotels. Attention to the guests and patient attitude to any questions are felt everywhere. The administrators speak English and Russian, however, it may also depend on the shift. In Finland, they like to watch birds, that is, wildlife, and there is also everything on site for this. Check-in starts at 14 o'clock, and departure at 12. In the evenings, there are concerts by modern young performers. In general, there remains a decent impression of the time spent. There is a sauna for those who like to warm up. Those who play billiards have a billiard room. There are vending machines with drinks and various pieces in the corridors. Special facilities have been created for families, rooms with kitchen and household supplies. A good impression is left by the silence of the night and comfortable beds, all this helps for a good sleep and rest. Before the holidays, the appropriate decoration is felt both at the entrance to the hotel and when visiting public places.
A large complex including a motel, a hotel, a swimming pool, a restaurant and a club. The complex is quite old, but it is quite suitable for spending the night on a budget after passing the border.

A good hotel with decent service near Kotka. It is located near one of the exits on the St. Petersburg-Helsinki highway, convenient for transit passengers. The prices are reasonable, there are always available rooms with different combinations of beds. Sauna access is also included in the room rate. Parking is large inside and outside the complex. The hotel itself consists of several buildings that are organically integrated into the natural landscape. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. It is possible to purchase breakfast at a local cafe-bar, which transforms into a small concert hall on weekend evenings. I recommend it to those who are tired from the road and are not planning a "night marathon".
The hotel for long-distance drivers is located between the roads. If you need to fall down and sleep at night, then it will probably do. on-site free Wi-Fi
A cozy hotel. We stayed at the hotel one summer night. Convenient location- exits to the main highways. Delicious breakfast buffet. There are saunas, a swimming pool, and a large parking lot. Not far from the hotel there is a wooden, multi-tiered observation deck for bird watching. It is necessary to look at birds during the day, a variety of species live in a swampy field.
I've booked it twice.Very friendly and attentive staff work at the reception. Check-in - 5 min. No more. The bungalow is very clean, cozy, quiet - there is absolutely everything for a quality holiday. The car is right under the window. Now, for me, this is the best hotel in Finland, one of the closest to the border with Russia.
Quite a nice hotel for a couple of nights. Good location, very close to Kotka. Despite the proximity of the highway, the bungalow rooms are quiet. It is very clean and cozy. There are some complaints about plumbing, but it's generally fine.
A normal hotel with average prices.the rooms are clean, towels are changed every day. Quietly. Very kind ladies at the reception. The breakfast is quite varied-omelette, sausages, porridge, cheese, sausage, fruits. A worse lunch.Without soup.in general, everything is good for a tired traveler)))
The hotel is located in a convenient location. It's not far from the border if you cross the border at night. The room was clean, not smelly, not smoky. Sauna, by the way, is included in the price. The booking number cost 4,600 rubles. We were a little stupid (we thought it would be cheaper without booking), and paid for the room without reservation. The price turned out to be 5200 rubles . (we should have made a reservation directly at the reception on the Internet, with a saving of 600 rubles). The hotel is large, there are many entrances to the rooms (many entrances for convenience, so that you do not walk to your room for a long time, but drove up to the right one, walked no more than 20 meters and in your room. Breakfast was not ordered. Nearby is the dolphin fish store (DISAS). It has a good, not expensive cafe, and of course a sea of inexpensive seafood. (caviar prices are the lowest here). Kotka city is a 10-minute drive away. Helsinki, Lahti and Lapenranta are about the same distance away, which is very convenient if you want to go everywhere. I deliberately pinched one star to the hotel so that they wouldn't spoil!
There was some garbage under the bed, otherwise everything is clean and cozy.
Wifi is free, but the speed is low
Parking for cars is large
There is a sauna
It is possible with food
Inexpensive, convenient, comfortable. I often stop here. It is better to call and order yourself - it will be cheaper than through Booking for about 4-6 euros.
Nice, cozy Finnish hotel 50 km from the border. The rooms are nice, warm, maybe there is a place to walk with a dog. The sewer is noisy, but tolerable. Excellent non-Finnish breakfast is plentiful!!!
A nice quiet hotel with a restaurant to stay in front of the border when leaving Finland. Large parking lot. If you check out early, you can leave the keys in the room. The rooms are large and clean. Uncomfortable beds.
A great place for a weekend, especially if you travel by car. There is a small forest for walking, a barbecue area and a free sauna in the evenings

Stayed for 2 nights in January 2020. Not far from the border, by car to the store and the center of Kotka in 15 minutes. The room is warm, the comfort is average, the kettle, tea / coffee bags, the furniture is old, the bed was shaky, in general you can live. There are a couple of barbecues and a barbecue on site, you can use it. There is also a sauna (included in the price), there is also a swimming pool but it is closed. The garbage was taken out of the room by themselves, they were not taken away during cleaning. We booked without food, so I don't know about the food, but the sweets at the reception are delicious.
We stopped several times during a trip to Finca in 2018-19. A normal hotel, worth the money. Some rooms and especially the buffet require renovation. Tables - no comments ... (they would have covered at least with something).
Conveniently located just before reaching Helsinki. We found the staff to be Russian-speaking and very nice. Despite the time that has passed, we have turned on the sauna. You can stay in the building of the hotel itself or in a nearby one-story building.
It is located not far from the city of Kotka, not far from the road, but there are greenery nearby, at night you can hear the singing of birds. A good breakfast.
