The hotel is well located, just 2 km from Varadero. The territory is cool and it is constantly being looked after. Wow! The rooms are gorgeous, huge, except for the bungalows. The food is modest, but you will not starve. There is animation, but not noticeable in the main. I didn't like that there is one bartender in the bar near the dining room who doesn't like Russians and will tell you about it in words with all her appearance, gritting her teeth, and will serve. Russian Russians are also disliked by the dark-skinned lady who gives out beach towels, as if 95% of those who go to them are not Russians. I will not recommend this hotel, although the reception staff is super!
We rested here in November 2024. The hotel itself is a little "tired", some things need to be repaired, but if you don't find fault, then everything is OK! The food is simple, not everyone likes it, but they never went hungry. WiFi works fine only at the reception, you need to catch it in the rooms. Nice well-maintained territory, convenient access to the beach. Beach towels had to be caught, they were missing for several days, then they were brought. Every evening there are different shows, during the day there is animation in the form of exercises and dancing. Very polite and friendly staff, if you leave a tip, they generally become bunnies. It is important that when traveling to Cuba, you need to buy simple pills - paracetamol, Citramone, etc. - they are not here and are very appreciated by the maids in the form of tips
The hotel corresponds to the Turkish genre
Most of the tourists are Russians, Canadians, Latinos and other Europeans mixed in. Friendly Cuban staff. The kitchen is not full of variety. Lots of vegetables, few fish (which is very strange on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean). The beach is simple, but the ocean overshadows all the disadvantages. In good weather, you can run along the beach, I recommend snorkeling, there is something to see, sailing 300-500 m from the shore.
Excellent excursions from the Pegasus tour operator.
