When I booked a room, I was stupid and confused it with the Mercury hotel chain, which I like. In fact, I fell for a similar name and made a mistake. To put it mildly, the hotel is so-so. The room is tubby, more like a hostel, the parquet creaks and flies off the floor. For some reason, there is an extra bed in the room that covers so little free space. The bedspread on this bed has not been changed for a year. The cost of the room is comparable to a normal Mercury. Among the advantages of the city center, you can have tea with pastries, Russian-speaking, polite staff.

We liked the hotel. The rooms are small, clean, daily cleaning, quiet. Near the metro, tram stop, walk to the square and the Powder tower in 10-15 minutes. They settled in quickly. They don't speak much Russian at the reception, but they understand it. The breakfasts (buffet) are hearty and varied. The hostess is friendly, knows Russian and speaks it. Afternoon tea (tea, pastries) is free. The price/quality is comparable. We recommend it.

We lived a little less than a week in mid-November 2018. A very nice little hotel. The center is a 15-minute walk away. In my understanding, it is normal. An acceptable breakfast, no frills, but omelette, sliced, salads, everything is fresh, delicious) A nice bonus for us was free coffee with biscuits and croissants during the day. The rooms are large by the standards of this price range. Everything is clean and cozy. There was a problem with the hot water. Well, as a problem, in the evening it disappeared abruptly and only cold water flowed from the tap, and then it turned on for no reason)) I don't know what this is related to, maybe it was a one-time problem and we were just unlucky. In general, the hotel is good, our expectations of price / quality are fully justified.

A very nice hotel. The breakfasts are excellent. The city center. Republic Square (and the Powder Tower) are a 10-minute walk away. There are two metro stations (two lines), a bus station, and a railway station nearby.

Convenient location, not in the center, but a 20-25 minute walk, near the metro, you can get to Wenceslas Square in 10 minutes, everything is nearby, I advise a restaurant on the square where beer is brought by steam trains

We stayed at this hotel from 03/26/19 to 04/04/19. The location is excellent, we practically did not use transport, only once when we went to Visegrad, the rest of the time we walked. The breakfasts at the hotel are beyond praise, there are many different dishes, everyone will find something to their liking. In addition, you can have an absolutely free afternoon snack from 15.30 to 18.00. There are usually 2 types of soups, a salad of fresh vegetables and some kind of pastries. The hotel staff is very friendly. When contacting the reception for any question, they always received answers to their questions. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and acquaintances.

It's a terrible place! Old furniture and all the furniture in the room, it's creepy dirty - it doesn't seem to be cleaned there at all, just for show, they take out the trash, dust, dirt on the floor, under the beds, a bunch of other people's hair in the bathroom, the beds creak with a death creak, during the week that we stayed there, the maid cleaned the whole day in the next room every day, when the fact that no one has lived there all this time. The attitude of the staff is disgusting - as if he came to visit the maids and waiters personally, you can see with the naked eye how unhappy they are, although we did not demand anything, behaved quietly and decently, cleanly. The exception is the young people at the reception - everyone is very friendly. In general, this "hotel" does not even pull for 2 *, I do not recommend it in any case! It's better to pay a little extra, but choose a decent 4. Staying here really spoiled the rest - as if they had a swim in a swamp. P.S. In general, Russians in Prague do not like it very much and do not even hide it, for the most part they are frankly boorish, everywhere - in cafes, restaurants (even though we always left generous tips), hotels, shops and other places. I repeat, we behaved quietly, modestly, without requests and pathos, ordinary tourists. Although we were warned about this in advance by the driver who took us to the hotel.
