A very atmospheric and soulful hotel. We are always ready to help. Clean, cozy. The furniture is new. New bedding, towels. Everything is snow-white. We took home-made wine: it just tasted fantastic. The aroma of real grapes. Shops, buses, the promenade and the city center are within walking distance. The hostess of the hotel is a wonderful woman. Real Caucasian hospitality.
We had a rest in Sukhum from September 20 to September 30. We lived in a hotel on Sadovaya, a 3-bed room on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the roadway, which was very annoying, because cars start driving from 5 in the morning. The room has more than a Spartan atmosphere, there are no outlets, there is 1 outlet for three people! 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, a writing table and 1 glass with a chart. The mattresses on the beds are terrible, the springs dig into the sides, there is nothing on top of the spring mattress except a sheet. In the bathroom, everything is at a minimum, there is not one extra hook, there is nowhere to put cleaning supplies. There was no cleaning or linen change in 10 days. There is 1 person working, Maya, she is at the reception, she is in the cafe and the rooms are preparing for check-in. All the time, they only listened to one thing from her, I was tired, I was at night, I was alone everywhere. The girls worked in the cafe only on weekdays, the breakfasts were monotonous, porridge and cheesecakes, scrambled eggs. At the weekend, Maya again with reservations that she is not obliged to do this. In general, I didn't like the hotel, I don't go there anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone! And so the rest in Sukhum is excellent, the sea was warm, the days were almost all sunny, everyone liked the trips.
During the holidays in Abkhazia and Sochi, we changed 4 hotels, and this one is the best in quality! The room is very clean, no foreign odors and dampness, fresh white bed, towels, hair dryer. There is a shared kettle and iron in the hallway, and a water cooler on the ground floor. There is a small cafe downstairs with an acceptable price tag and delicious food. Thanks to the hosts, I want to return to this hotel :)
I want to say that we were warmly welcomed! We arrived on August 19th and lived there for a week. Maya, the administrator of this hotel, is a kind-hearted person! Very understanding and responsive! When my daughter had health problems, she called us a taxi to the hospital herself. She advised what excursions and cafes you can visit in their city! The hotel is clean and cozy! We had a very good vacation! Maya, you're the best!
We had a family vacation from 17.07-07/24/2023. A small, cozy, family-run hotel. We booked 2 rooms through a travel agency, and upon check-in we offered the best option without additional payment. Convenient location, 10 minutes to the sea. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are no problems with water and light. The balconies are small, but it's enough to dry things). We took an evening tour of Sukhum from the hotel, very convenient and comfortable. A separate plus is that there is a cafe downstairs with pleasant prices and food from under the knife!
I recommend it for those who like a quiet and relaxing holiday.
Pros: clean room, modern furniture, clean bathroom, everything is decent.
The hotel smells nice.
Minuses:
The absence of a kettle, mugs, spoons in the room (only glasses), the absence of at least a small refrigerator (if you live on the 4th floor, then you use a kettle, refrigerator on the 3rd floor). Also, an ironing board with an iron was available on the 3rd floor, which could not be ironed, it was not heated.
Upon arrival, they said that cleaning is done 1 time in 5 days, bed linen, towels are changed on request, garbage is taken out on its own.
The sound insulation with the next room is bad, a conversation was heard.
The choice of dishes in the breakfast included in the accommodation for 300 rubles on the menu is very meager and monotonous, you won't be able to accelerate much for this amount, prices are higher than in St. Petersburg's dining room, there are no sweets, fruits, but you can always eat milk porridge, scrambled eggs or omelet. There are few staff, there won't be too many dishes, because they don't physically have time. In general, the staff was not very customer-oriented, with notes of indifference, they often did not want to visit and wanted to eat and leave faster.
The biggest disadvantage in the dining room is the flies in large numbers that sit on the food and no one tries to fight them, at least to hang Velcro. I hope that sanitary standards are observed in the kitchen.
I have been to Abkhazia many times, but I have never met such a cozy place as the hotel on Sadovaya. The staff is kind and helpful. Eating like at home. Special thanks to May, Rada, Milana, Zhenya and Kobe, who were accepted as relatives.
The rooms are clean and tidy, everything you need is there.
Thank you for being there. Let's get back to you.
Hello, I was on vacation in hotels on soda, the best place to relax, thank them, we became like a family, thanks to Maya for the comfort, we will return to the cafe again, well done girls, thank them for the delicious food, we miss them very much and we will return soon
I really liked the hotel. Mistress Maya is a sincere and attentive person. Cleanliness, spacious rooms, air conditioning, cafe nearby. I recommend it to everyone!
I really liked the hotel!
The three of us lived in room 35 on the third floor. Spacious room with comfortable beds.
The hotel is very cozy with modern renovation and furniture.
High-quality plumbing. Bathroom with shower in the room. There is a hair dryer.
Refrigerator, ironing board with iron, kettles on the floor.
Thanks a lot to Maya for the hospitality!
Of the advantages: The hotel itself is in good condition, the rooms are cozy, good location both to the center and to the sea…
From the cons: I'll start telling my story: THE BEGINNING of the VACATION was spoiled!!!!!
we arrived at the hotel at 7 a.m. barely got through to the administration and we were told that there were no places in the hotel, there was no time or energy to argue, we were asked to stay in a neighboring guest house for a while, The next morning we they asked us to overpower us to the room we bought, which we were refused!!!! Having stated that there are no numbers ... after long negotiations with the tour operator ... and calls to the hotline, we were still provided with a number by the evening (he mysteriously got free), but the number was not the one that was bought on the tour! No one has ever offered to change the towel and Bed linen in seven days, There are good breakfasts in the dining room, but the staff swears at each other in the kitchen ... the or is terrible ((( (which puts guests in an awkward position).. because of this, the service is very slow and inattentive. ! There is no customer orientation!
A cozy, family-run hotel, friendly staff, there is a cafe at the hotel where they cook very tasty and the portions are large, and the price is acceptable. There is an ATM, shops, pharmacies, a mini market, and transport stops within walking distance.
We had a rest at this hotel. I liked everything very much. A cozy room, everything is in working order, garbage and towels were changed once every two days. The receptionist Maya is very attentive, good-natured and just very nice. The hotel is located not far from the sea. We had a problem with going back home, and the owner of the hotel Denis helped us with our trouble, and in general the owners of the hotel are very reverent and attentive. In general, I liked everything. Next time we will definitely come back. The best "Hotel on Sadovaya"💕
We are staying at this place for the second time. Everything is fine. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Individual approach to each guest.
The room is clean and fresh. The sea is within walking distance.
The hotel is not bad, everything is clean, the linen is changed, the cooler, kettle, refrigerator are on the floor, the room was cleaned, it fully fulfills its price, the only thing I didn't really like the cafe, I had to wait too long, the dishes are greasy, but this is for an amateur
We had a rest in this hotel in September 2023-I really liked it! The administrator of May is a very responsive, good-natured person. Easily solves any problems. The food is decent. Thanks to all the staff.
We had a rest in early July, very friendly staff, the room is clean, linen change 1 in 3 days, air conditioning, wi-fi, TV, refrigerator on the floor in the corridor, you can use an iron, an electric kettle. The shower is very humid, there is no hood. There is a cafe on the 1st floor.
The hotel has a nice, attentive staff. The room is clean, there is a wardrobe, air conditioning, table, bedside table, mosquito net on the windows, towels are provided. There is a cafe at the hotel where you can eat delicious food and pay by transfer via mobile banking. The sea is 5 minutes away. There are many shops along the way and where you can pay with a card. In general, I liked everything.

We lived from 28.01-3.02.24we were the only guests when we checked in-2 adults and a baby of 8 months, it was raining-respectively cold.Apparently they did not wait for us, although we booked this hotel deeply in advance from the bible -we were surprised how the room did not warm up and they put us there-they gave us a gun, turned on the air conditioner -but it did not save us so we suffered for 2 days-(they gave us a second gun)!- but it didn't help sleeping in warm suits! After us, more guests moved in, we met them and found out that their rooms are warm and only we are freezing! After our complaints to the Bible and demands from the administrator to replace the room, we went to a meeting-we replaced the room that we would have warmed with a cannon and air conditioning all day!May, when moving, said you will take out the garbage yourself-I read reviews, everyone writes that they take out the garbage themselves-I have not taken out trash anywhere else in hotels-write in the description -the garbage needs to be taken out by the guests on their own!The rooms are clean, the linen is fresh and white.Sockets on inconvenient levels, cabinets and cabinets without shelves, hangers are generally in disarray! The location is very convenient-there is a public transport stop nearby, you can get to the center very quickly and on foot.(the embankment is close-in the morning you will have to walk 2 km).Well, the cafe is just super hospitable-everything is delicious and very fast - Thanks to Evgenia! It's up to you, dear guests, are you ready to take out the trash?- or it's up to you to freeze!- and Maya managed to quarrel with them when our neighbors left!-a great impression from the Receptionist-at the same time, only 3 rooms were occupied for a week!
Wetly. Therefore, heat guns save. But this is in winter. Cooler, refrigerator, kettle on the floor. Do not stand on towels with your feet - they will scold you ) But if something changes and towels with a designation appear (picture, inscription?) "For the legs", then you can put 5 stars))
We were there in August 2021. Pros: Clean, tidy, cafe downstairs, 20 minutes walk to Mocha beach.
Cons: one closet for things on hangers, no shelves. There are no cups, spoons, etc., no mirror (only in the bathroom), no bedside lamps, no soap dish, a glass for dental abacus (we bought it in the store and left it as a gift), the air conditioner is very noisy, the TV is 3 or 4 channels. The room is clean, but there is no shower. The walls are bare, it's not cozy - everything is just very ascetic (cabinets, beds, table and everything). The room had no balcony and the clothes dryer had to wait until they were released in another room. The room was cleaned 1 time in 2 weeks, we take out the garbage ourselves (they give packages), a refrigerator, a kettle in the hallway on the entire floor (4 rooms). The lights were turned off all over Sukhumi from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., but for several days there was no electricity all night and even before lunch once. The lack of electricity is not the fault of the hotel, but still..... when there is no light, there is NO water and even the toilet can not be flushed.
In principle, all this did not spoil our vacation, we are not picky, and we only slept in the room mostly.
They were given away in August 2021 with children.Yes, the hotel is far from the center, but for me personally it's a plus, because it's quiet at night and in the morning. It is not critically remote, you can safely walk, we walked almost every day.Walking is wonderful!MVO beach is 15 minutes away slowly, the beach is good pebbles with sand.I don't like pure pebbles, so this is a plus for me again. There are not as many people on the beach as on the central one, there are always free sun beds and awnings.
The hosts are excellent hospitable people. It's a pity that we got to know each other better before we left. You can buy wonderful inexpensive wine of your own production from them. The bed was changed at the first request. The only possible disadvantage is that the garbage had to be taken away by themselves, but this is not such a problem.Electricity is turned off throughout Sukhum from 5 to 7 in the morning, so the owners have nothing to do with it.
The cafe on the ground floor is also wonderful. The girls are just smart! They cooked almost individually for my child who didn't eat anything, they always tried to please.Everything is delicious, fast and homemade. You can order by a certain time, for example, pizza or food with you. This is also a plus.
In general, we would love to go back there. It is a pity that the owners have removed their hotel from the booking.
It's a wonderful place. A small hotel 20 minutes from the sea (MVO beach). Renovated spacious rooms with air conditioning, furniture and bathroom.a node. The staff is very attentive and polite. Maya is a good and hospitable administrator. There is a wonderful dining room-cafe right in the hotel. There is always a fresh kitchen, very tasty, homemade. The staff is also polite, sociable and welcoming.
The hotel itself is not bad. A modest city hotel, clean and tidy. A very nice cafe, with friendly staff and very tasty food. Thank them very much!!! Especially Alice. One of the disadvantages is the location of the hotel - it is remote from the sea (this was not a problem for us) and is located in a "not very tourist" area. Also one of the disadvantages is lazy and inert staff. There were minor household inconveniences. They solved them, but after 33 reminders and altercations. The cleaner did not take out the garbage at all - she said that tourists should do it. I had to take out the trash from my room by myself.
A wonderful private hotel with 15 rooms, three floors, vacationed here in September. The rooms are decent, with air conditioning, the only thing they took out the trash themselves on the way to the beach. Maya is great, she works seven days a week, she is very friendly, she will do everything if something is wrong. Linen and towels are changed as you ask. There is an ironing board and a kettle on each floor.
A great place to stay in Sukhum. It is a little far from the center, so there is no wild traffic under the windows, but everything is within walking distance. A chic cafe-dining room on the ground floor with homemade food and awesome grape compote.
The hotel itself is well and freshly renovated, friendly and helpful administrator Kristina will help solve any of your questions. The only point is that the audibility is good enough. Otherwise, we were satisfied with everything.
We haven't been to the hotels, but passing by we went urgently for Wi-Fi, we didn't refuse, everyone suggested, well, what 3 pages they are, for that you get 5 stars
A pleasant place, we did not live in the hotel itself, we went to the cafe at the hotel. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Responsive staff. Not expensive
An absolutely wonderful place. The best hotel in Sukhumi, a paradise. I would like the new owners of the hotel to understand what a pearl they got, and resume the work of the dining room - the food there was unrealistically delicious! - and finally they set up a swimming pool - only for the sake of it you can come to the "Bagrat Mountain" from year to year.
Excellent combination of price and quality. If it doesn't matter to you to live in the center - come here without hesitation. However, it's a 15-minute walk to the center here.
The furniture is in terrible condition, the bed is falling through, the chair is broken. The air conditioner starts squeaking and squeaking terribly in the middle of the night!
The hotel is great. Clean, cozy. The hotel owner and staff are friendly and courteous. There is a cafe nearby, with very tasty and surprisingly inexpensive dishes.
