Of course, the hotel needs renovation, furniture, repairs, everything is very worn out, everything is so much below the level of modern hotels that there are a lot of 1 stars, but there is no alternative in the city because they "squeeze":from the hotel to the maximum, the price does not match the quality at all.
I give 2 stars only for the nice girl at the reception, who tried to somehow brighten up the impression of the hotel and the room in which I was accommodated.
The city has changed, it is beautifully maintained, there are many places that can be recommended to visit, but the "face" of the city is the hotel where guests will stay when visiting, and I'm afraid that this will spoil all the positive impressions of the city.
We stayed for one night. The room is small but clean, the room is quiet. The plumbing is working, the shower is good. The bed, in my opinion, is too low and soft. The bed linen and towels are clean. There is a shower robe. There is a small refrigerator in the room. The cafe is closed, and we didn't like the breakfast in the restaurant. The hotel is located in the city center and we had a great walk around the park and the embankment. There are shops and cafes nearby. I really liked the Hvamli restaurant. Excellent cuisine and affordable prices. In general, we are satisfied with our stay.
We chose this hotel despite the low rating. It is located in the center, which is very convenient for location. We took two Suites and a Standard room. The rooms are in good condition and clean. One room faced the courtyard of the hotel and the morning started VERY early because of the noise of unloading cars. I strongly advise against the hotel restaurant. The assortment is small and not tasty. Porridge, cold cheesecakes. Coffee has one name, the prices are high.
