I dearly loved this mini-hotel! No matter what!
When you relax as part of a group with a schedule and timing, it takes the focus away from some details. After the fact, and the trip was at the end of August 2023, impressions and attitudes are structured and you can give your subjective assessment of the place. And most importantly, to preempt and reduce those inevitable inconveniences and discomforts "coming for you"!))
Of the advantages (remember that everything is relative - for someone a plus, for someone a minus!!)): the hotel is located close enough to the sea, far enough from the stormy shopping hangout (and somewhere "criminogenic") resort center. Who only needs to lie down quietly at sea-sunbathe-swim and that's it, so here. Nearby there are delicious and decent cafes and restaurants with the absence of Russian on the menu!! I.e. for their own, and this is, to some extent, a "quality mark"!)
The rooms are clean, the staff responds to comments, tries to eliminate shortcomings promptly. Friendly in his simple representatives. With regard to the "lack of loyalty" sounded in one of the reviews, this applies more to managers who are multifunctional here: the administrator-the porter-the head waiter in one bottle) The hotel is small!
One of the undoubted advantages for tourists with suitcases (especially ladies with wardrobe luggage) is the presence of an elevator. Air conditioners are working and functional (if you understand the minimum technology)). There are no balconies, but there is a recreation area for both singles "to smoke with a cup of coffee" and for cheerful companies, which we often gathered. On the street, at the entrance to the hotel.
What you should pay attention to in advance (i.e. cons)):
Breakfast at the hotel is not even a continental option, where meat and cheese cuts, eggs should be at least minimally present.
There are only bakery products (very minimally and in portions) and in an unlimited amount some "synthetic" sweets with annual shelf life, very attractively lying on the central table! And apparently long enough!! This is some kind of horror with the amount of sugar and chemistry and a direct blow to the pancreas and all systems and organs!(( As well as the complete absence of protein and vegetable components. Immediately head to the regular basic grocery store, which is very close to the hotel (Oh! another plus!! - on the way to the sea, entrance from the end of the building). There are vegetables, herbs, fruits, milk, meat products - you can choose at affordable prices and even locally produced, which is cheaper and more environmentally friendly! And of course - wine!! In a broad sense - alcohol, for whom strong drinks are relevant! A wide range of products and a price range. And pleasant discounts appear - well, without them!)) You need to bring gifts from Italy. Limoncello is the same - quite passable in price...
In general, they bought it, put it in the refrigerator and went to breakfast like white people.
Yes, the refrigerators in the rooms are mostly small, so do not count on a large volume. And there can be up to 3 people for this baby. It's good if these are girls who don't eat tons of food. For the rest, the question is ...
To the cons (or maybe in terms of digital detox, it's not such a minus ...) the CONNECTION applies ((( The Internet on the hotel's WiFi is terrible, it is installed on phones with technical difficulties due to the difficulties of communication with the staff!!))(that's where you need to know English!), it works tolerably well only at the reception and then, not always!! When using a large number of people - and this happens almost always - it hangs mercilessly!!! Train your patience, buy mobile Internet (didn't even ask this question)) or accept the situation as a blessing and get away from the world and give yourself a rest and detox from social networks and all other individuals on the planet for this happy period!!!
Another important reminder, not related to the hotel, but important to all those who come there - people!!! take special shoes (purchased from many in Turkey) for going to sea along the PEBBLY shore!!! This is terrible!! If only someone had told me! Many people have such shoes in stock - why don't the tour organizers warn them??? They begged at the entrance to the water - who is good for what!))
I want to end on the positive side!)
A separate "fairy tale of Italy" for me, associated with the Provence hotel, is a morning coffee with the freshest croissants from Stefano, if I correctly remembered the name of our formidable-looking, but kind-hearted maitre d'!!
It's such a wonderful and magical taste!! This is such a straight authentic Italy, figuratively!! This has not happened to any other of the metrodotels, even with the owner (I would even say that especially with the owner - this is an example of hard-to-hide intolerance, some kind of discontent hanging in the air with our very existence - an unpleasant type, in a word!)) Many thanks to Stefano for that part of the real Italy that you generously gave us! Grazie Stefano!Grazie Provenza!Grazie Italia!
