The hotel is modern. Clean, cozy. Free Wi-Fi. There is a cafe at the hotel: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The best hotel in the city of Ostrovets.
You can book rooms by phone or by e-mail. Everything is very good, but the prices for accommodation are not cheap :-(.
The hotel is located in the historical center of Ostrovets. Nearby there is a square and a monument to V.I. Lenin, an ancient church, a cinema, shops, a market.
The reception staff is very pleasant and helpful. The girls in the dining room are not sympathetic to the visitors. The kitchen is good in general, but breakfast well, it can't cost the stated 20 rubles. The hotel is clean, the rooms are as lucky as you are, but the showers are almost dead. There is a hairdryer and a kettle in the room. Good sound insulation in the bedroom, but you can hear everything that the neighbor is doing in the toilet. There are no secrets here! All your own!😉
The hotel is very good, but the price tag is certainly too high, they rented cheaper and not worse in Minsk. I was not satisfied with the calculation by the day, there is no flexible pricing by time.
The hotel is deteriorating every year. In all the rooms where I had to live, the showers are tubed, and many have clogged sewers. It's time to change the furniture in some rooms. The food in the cafe on the ground floor is below average, I suffered heartburn every time after it, now I stopped taking rooms with meals. There is a gaming club on the ground floor, tobacco smoke from it spreads throughout the hotel, penetrates into the rooms. It feels like living in a cheap pub. Recently, a losing man came out of this club and trashed cars in the hotel parking lot. Room cleaning, bed linen, towels are normal. Many rooms have a rather strange configuration, because they have been converted from two-room rooms into two separate rooms. There is simply no sound insulation in the rooms, if a neighbor snores, it can be heard at night. Among the advantages - there are air-conditioned rooms, polite girls at the reception during the day, convenient location.
A nice, cozy hotel with friendly staff. Convenient location (opposite the beer bar, shops). Daily room cleaning. Slightly monotonous breakfasts. Dinner is included in the price, which is very convenient. Of the dishes, I did not like the pancakes: they were thin, burnt and for some reason not tasty. In the following days, I ordered other dishes and OK. In general, I liked everything! On the second visit, they were accommodated in room 102, there was no Wi-Fi in the room. They promised to do it.....we'll see. So, the wifi was not done, so they moved me to another room, 202. It would have been better if I had stayed in the same one. Some Uzbeks lived on the floor, they started yelling at 5 a.m., the room didn't seem to be cleaned at all. If I have to settle there again, I'll take a look, and I'll take a couple of stars off the rating.
I went on a business trip, stayed at this hotel. There are only three single rooms, so I had to move into a double room with 2 separate beds (room 203, if memory serves). One of the beds had broken slats (wooden planks on which the mattress of the bed rests), there were no such problems with the second one. The wardrobe, table and chair are intact, there is no minibar - there is a small refrigerator and a kettle, two cups with saucers and 2 glasses from the dishes.
The bathroom is combined. The washbasin and toilet are in good condition, but the shower cabin looks and works strangely: almost the entire bottom of the cabin is sealed with a transparent sealant, there is no rubber mat before entering the cabin - I almost slipped a couple of times when exiting, switching between cold and hot water is very slow - I had to unscrew the faucet only for hot water, and then select the optimal temperature. There is no dryer, instead there is a balcony railing on which the window does not open. An ironing board with an iron is in the next corridor on the same floor. Nothing is said about laundry services in the hotel brochure - everything is in your hands, if you understand what I'm talking about)
Rooms are cleaned at 10-11 a.m., and this is the only time when they are cleaned. I was in a situation that I was working the night shift, and at that time I was already asleep, so no cleaning was done all night shifts (3-4 days), except for the day when after the shift I specifically waited for the maid to replace the bed and towels (I have no complaints about the quality of the latter - everything is white and clean, not torn).
For 136 Belarusian rubles per day, you will receive breakfast in a cafe on the 1st floor, complete with accommodation. Breakfast includes: porridge on various cereals (oatmeal, millet, may be others), a hot dish (potato pancakes with sour cream, fried eggs with fried sausages, omelet with ham and cheese, pancakes with stuffing, etc.), vegetable and sausage cuts, a dish with a set for sandwiches (bread, butter, hard cheese, jam and olives for some reason) and a coffee machine. I didn't go to dinners, but they seem to be praised too.
Bottom line : it's not bad for a 3* hotel, but cleaning only in the morning and high cost ($ 49 per day for 1 person in 3 * I think it's expensive - in Molodechno, such prices for 4 * hotels, as far as I remember) do not give a rating higher than 3 out of 5. For business travelers who have a daily stay limit of $ 60 is quite a working option.

The mattress on the bed is old, the springs dug into the sides. It will be fine to spend the night for 1-3 nights.
A friendly girl at the reception, only thanks to her I give 4 stars.
I lived in the SunHotel for almost a month in a double room "Twin". The hotel is Turkish, or rather it was built by a certain Turkish owner who has money, as explained to me at the reception.
Cons:
The first horror you experience is from the portraits all over the first floor, which seem to say that you are visiting... or I don't even know what they are talking about, or they can tell the guest... I think they are inappropriate there! A stupid talking elevator, they only give water to the room upon check-in, there is no phone, it's time to repair the plumbing. The ladder in the floor is broken (you constantly fall through there), the mixer cartridge is shifted to the left (in the position of the handle in the center of the sink there is boiling water). 2 single beds are pushed into one, although it is a TWIN, the beds can be pushed apart and live in two. The walls are the thinnest!!! You can hear the neighbor munching, and you can get up in the morning by his alarm clock! If you open the plumbing cabinet, you can see the neighbor's hatch opposite. Some kind of riser with boiling water runs through my room, I was constantly hot at 305, although the heating was turned off, others complained of the cold. The price tag for such a pleasure is about 4,500 wooden per day!!! There is no security, a drunk from the casino beat 2 cars in the parking lot, no one reacted, apparently there is no one to react.
The "restaurant" has dirty mirrors, the dishes are the most ordinary, not everything is on the menu. The coffee machines are not configured.
Songs:
Large rooms with a TV connected to the Internet, there is youtube 24/7))). Rooms with Windows to the courtyard have huge balconies where you could work, there is not enough table and chairs. The food in the restaurant is not the worst, we have seen worse, the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a casino, maybe this is a plus.
Result:
If you hang your portraits around, then make the service appropriate! If this is some great person, then I expect a sign at the entrance or booklets like in a museum. The information on this issue is also comprehensive on the website. Greetings from sunny Turkey, Sedata Igdeji hotel in Ostrovets.
P.S. Everything has moved out... Do not write reviews in phones... It's a pain!!!
Convenient location in the old part of the city, availability of laundry, slot machines, wi-fi, shuttle service in Belarus. Of the cons:
- rooms with various defects (furniture, double-glazed windows, etc.);
- the price of accommodation is high;
- the kitchen is weak, the food is sausage, eggs, semi-finished products.
The prices are high. I ordered by phone, asked without breakfast, agreed, but the price was left as with breakfast 175 rubles per night! That's why there are rooms available. The room, like everyone else's, has a bed, a table, a chair, a closet in the hallway, a mini fridge, a TV, a bathroom. Only 0.5 water was put in. I do not advise it - it is better to book in advance in the Rainbow!
Quite a decent hotel.
It is located near the nuclear power plant (for those who go to the station, it is very convenient).
Friendly and courteous staff.
The room was spacious. The shower and toilet are clean.
There is no air conditioner (there was a fan).
According to the administrator, the hot water was cut off before 07/27/18.
The hotel pulls 3 stars, although there are 4 of them on the key rings.
There were not enough chairs on the large balcony, but they could be taken from the room. The windows on the balcony are sealed against drafts with foil tape and hermetic...It looks original, but it's probably warmer in winter.
The sockets in the room are located without any idea. There is one outlet near, but also far from the bed at the same time.
There was no outlet above the table, the kettle had to be heated on a bedside table or on the floor.
In the shower room, there was only one outlet on the wall opposite the sink (but the hair dryer cord was just enough).
Cockroaches and other inhabitants were not noticed.
The audibility between the rooms is the wildest, especially the noise of water from the shower cabin of the next room. Phone conversations can also become public.
They write about discos on weekends, but I personally did not find it, because I was from Tue to Fri.
There is a restaurant in the hotel building. The food is delicious, the staff is cool. Only the Greek chef cooks the salad without cheese, but with the usual grated one.
There is a grocery store and a bar nearby.
The review is rather for those who have already been to Ostrovets and don't know much about it. For first-time arrivals, keep in mind that there is not much to choose from here, but the situation is changing and Sanitel should also develop. It's not 2018 anymore, when nothing happened.
Minuses:
1. The price is constantly changing depending on the dollar exchange rate, i.e. the bill may change after 2 weeks of stay. For example, you checked in for 150 rubles, and you will pay 177 rubles on departure. What does the dollar have to do with it is not clear, it seems that the hotel does not depend on imports. This is for the comment about the cheating Turk.
2. The price for the rooms is greatly inflated, they take advantage of the fact that there are a lot of business travelers and there is nowhere to go, they settle here. They're pulling like a stick.
3. Very strong audibility. Sometimes it feels like someone came into your room and sat in your toilet. Over time, you get used to it ...
4. The food is bad, if you check in, do not take food. Everything is greasy, heavily overcooked, even for breakfast. The stomach takes off in a few days. I heard some of them were poisoned.
5. Terrible mattresses, spring-loaded, with a metal frame.
6. If the windows overlook the courtyard, you will look into the windows of the neighboring house. Everything would be fine, but with the glazing of the loggia in the floor it is not very comfortable - you will not get out of the shower naked unless you close the windows in advance.
7. The decoration of the rooms is depressing.
Positive:
1. Good girls at the reception, responsive, will help you choose a room, tell you. But they do not say that they should give you 2 bottles of water every day - The Hostess should take note.
2. Good maids, clean every day, make the bed, wash the sink, shower and toilet, hang towels. And believe me, this is not the attitude to cleanliness everywhere. I lived in a nearby hotel- it's better in many ways, but they only took out the garbage, and the floor in the corners was neither washed nor swept.
3. Clean linen, towels.
4. There is a laundry room. You hand over your underwear in the morning, pick up clean and dry in the evening, and the shirts are ironed.
5. There is an elevator.
6. There is a modern Samsung TV with a smart TV and a USB stick reads.
7. Wifi for the Internet and even YouTube is sufficient, sometimes it lags.
yes, it's just a super place, this is the best place where I lived, everything was arranged, and most importantly, it's spacious and there is a terrace!!And the smell of novelty is just intoxicating, I recommend exactly 500 stars!!!
The rooms are clean, the food is not bad, there is a bar. The noise of the elevator can be heard in the rooms next to the elevator at night.

The complete absence of TV! In two weeks, it was impossible to watch a single program for a single day! Appeals to the staff do not lead to anything. The problem has not been solved for years! It's not the first time I've lived here.
+ breakfast and dinner are included in the room rate;
+ spacious rooms;
+ bathrobe, slippers and shower cabin with hydromassage;
+ the rooms are warm.
- it is very difficult to catch a free number;
- hot water has to be drained for a couple of minutes to achieve an acceptable temperature.
Of the two hotels in the city: the best. It's worth three stars, but cotton bedding (as in roadside hotels) significantly spoils the reputation.
The normal three stars. The staff is very helpful. It is very convenient to spend the night in transit to the Kaliningrad region. The border is not far away . In the evening we were fed in the hotel restaurant, in the morning (we left) at 4.30 we were given a lunch box with us. The food is the simplest, without sophistication. Freshly cooked and quite tasty. Scrambled eggs, sausages, porridge, salads, herring under a fur coat and a puff pastry for dessert. I liked everything, and it's not expensive.
I was in the restaurant, everything is fine, the atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is polite!but there is no draft beer, as before, and I can pour Lida bottled beer into a glass at home!
There is no constant hot water in the provided apartments! Not enough for tenants! You can't even wash up after work in the evening!! We get up on the alarm clock at 4 a.m. and go to the shower. Is this the normal state of housing conditions???

The service and the kitchen have deteriorated: it was better three years ago.
There is less demand for hotels in this and nearby cities, and competition between hotels is higher, but the San Hotel seems to have got used to the hype of demand once, and does not understand that times are changing.
Nice new hotel. So far, it is not a bad repair, which is gradually amortized by residents =) Convenient location. Good beds, the room is cleaned every day. This is one of the advantages. Now from the cons:
1) Due to the specifics of the city, there are almost never any places. Therefore, if you booked for a week, then most likely you will not be able to extend it. Well, that's if you were lucky and there were places at all.
2) You can take breakfast or dinner with you. They are put in boxes, but you will have to eat them with your hands, since they will not put disposable devices. Sometimes they won't put napkins and they won't give you a bag. Well, it's like that... If we had made such an opportunity, then at least we would have implemented it normally. And then neither two, nor one and a half. It spoils the impression quite a lot.
3) Oddly enough, this is the kitchen. I don't know what the reason is, but sometimes it's impossible to eat dinner (and breakfast too). From the word at all. Maybe they have two chefs, maybe something else. In general, there are about 4 out of 10 delicious dinners. That is 40%. But when it's delicious, it's really delicious. Although I remember they brought dumplings that were magically turned into dumplings. Even I don't know how to spoil dumplings like that (and I have a lot of experience with dumplings). This is a clear talent.
4) The local housing and communal services likes to turn off the hot water. I don't know why, but he loves me. While I was in the fall, it was turned off twice. And there are no water heaters (titans) in the hotel. So if you are unlucky, there is a chance not to wash for a couple of days. Although in the summer they say they turned it off for a month. I don't even know how to deal with such a situation.
Actually, this is in short.
The rooms are new, nice, spacious. The staff is smiling and friendly.
Of course, the food is not very tasty, and the packed breakfasts are also not clear on what basis...

It all depends on the number. There are excellent rooms where everything is already fine. But you can get into a room with a strong smell of sewage or with a view from the window to the canopy in the backyard, under which the staff smokes and the smoke drags into the room. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price and they delight with variety. Friendly staff, ready to help solve any problems.
