I want to tell you about how we arrived at the Süreyya hotel with a friend on December 31, booked a tour in Ostrava for some unknown reason, the payment did not go through and we had to pay for our arrival for 2 nights in cash at the hotel, because the tour operators were no longer working. For 1 day, we had to pay 10,000 rubles for 1 room at the reception, which is 3,000 lire for 1 night, paying twice as much for reasons unknown to us. The cost of the 2nd day (2 people) on the hotel's website is 85$. We didn't want to swear, so as not to spoil the New Year's mood for ourselves and others.
The hotel is located in the old part of the city. Small, but cozy. No insects. Clear.
There are dozens of cafes and shops nearby. It is quite suitable to spend the night. I was impressed by the fact that you can smoke everywhere in the hotel)
The University or Vezneciler metro station is almost two minutes away. In the subway, you need to go down by elevator, and not like we have on the escalator. But it's quite possible to figure it out for yourself. It is better to buy a red transport card. Using the metro, you can get to the new part of Istanbul very quickly.
As for all the significant sights of the old part, they are within walking distance from the hotel.
A normal hotel, always cleaned, everything is nearby, but it is better to shop in other areas where there are shopping centers. Near the Hagia Sophia Mosque
