We stayed at this hotel in early March.
I liked everything.
The staff speaks Turkish and English, please note this.
We lived in the main building on the 2nd floor.
The room is clean and tidy.
The windows are floor-to-ceiling and overlook the neighboring building, which has offices, so the curtains had to be closed at all times.
Daily cleaning, towels and slippers were even changed every day, but it's not clear why.😄
The breakfast was small, but we always ate enough and were satisfied with the quality of the food.
There were fresh and pickled vegetables, eggs in various forms, cheeses, sausages, breakfast cereals, bread, some sweets, various spreads (jams, butter, etc.), fruits, tea, coffee from the vending machine.
The only thing is that the elevator broke down on the day of arrival and did not work for all 6 days)
Otherwise, the hotel met all our expectations.
Very convenient location, near the bus station, tram, underground funicular, marina.
We generally walked from the hotel to many attractions.
The streets near the hotel are quite busy, there are a lot of people and it's noisy in the evening.
There are also good places nearby where you can have a snack or drink coffee.
There are 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes from the hotel.
I can recommend the hotel for those who plan trips to Istanbul for up to 7 days.
If you intend to just go for a walk and all you need from the hotel is a good location, breakfast and a clean room, then the choice is simply excellent and worth the money. There are 2 buildings, the main one with reception and the additional one without. There is a Michelin restaurant opposite the annex building and another 2-minute walk away. There are so many places around that even if you want to, you won't have time to get around everything. The Grand Bazaar is 20-30 minutes walk away. The breakfasts from the hotel are simple, but there is everything that a Russian person and his stomach will be familiar with. They speak English at the reception, so there won't be any situations where I don't understand you well.
It is located in a tourist area, so get ready for a noisy, cheerful crowd in the narrow streets around the hotel. Some of the rooms are in a separate building, a short walk from the reception. The rooms are clean, cozy, well ventilated, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. Breakfast is not very convenient, as there are much fewer places than there are guests. Although the food is delicious.
