Its project name is "Moscow". The name was changed to "October" due to the fact that its commissioning date fell on November 1951 and was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of October! And the restaurant received the name "Ukraine" for reference to the region (Ukrainian SSR). A very beautiful, but unfortunately still not renovated, hotel! The only 3-star hotel in the city in the early 50s! Since I have been collecting watches since childhood, the first thing I associate with this hotel is the clock on its facade! Thanks to their presence, as a child I dreamed of becoming its director in the future!
