It is a small museum, but the exposition is very interesting. Be sure to take a guide! I was alone, and Gregory conducted a personal tour for me. It's amazing! Thank you very much, I really enjoyed it!
We recently visited the Museum of Folk Art. This museum is definitely worth a visit on the very first day of your arrival in Yerevan and definitely with an excursion. The museum has a rich collection of applied arts – woodcarving, metal products, embroidery, carpet weaving. There are many new and old products. Through these works of art, you begin to understand why this or that ornament is often used in architecture, what these, at first glance, strange signs mean. What you see is breathtaking, especially when you realize that many products are made only by manual labor. Lilith, the tour guide, spoke in great detail and with love about the exhibits. We came out of there just absolutely delighted. So also tickets to the museum are made in the form of postcards with photos of the museum's exhibits.
Today we visited the Museum of Folk Art! They came out in a wonderful mood. We not only admired the wonderful exhibits, but also learned a lot about the customs and history of the Armenian people thanks to a very interesting person, guide Grisha! Thanks to all the museum staff for the warm welcome and wishes of success in the preservation of national treasures!
