I'm a tourist, so I can't say anything about the level of teaching, the fairness of grades, etc.
I'm talking about the appearance. It's cool, but in the fall everything turns red. Very beautiful!
Beautiful view of the building from the outside! I have long dreamed of being photographed against the background of this university) I've never seen anything like it anywhere.

Dean Alexander N. Nikalaevich
He often demonstrates complete indifference to the questions of his students. He often doesn't listen when asked for clarification and hurriedly moves on to the next topics, leaving us confused. He treats us arrogantly, presenting himself as the embodiment of justice and objectivity. If you suddenly ask for additional help or revision of grades, he invariably refuses, saying that our questions are inconvenient for him or ignoring them altogether. He also invents stories of student misconduct out of nowhere to justify his biased grades.
I will say about the ISF- the level of teaching of basic subjects is quite low, due to the approach of some teachers. they consider themselves almost celestial beings. They have acquired one rank after another, ambitions over the edge, it looks like a disease. A natural business, and the conditions can be changed unilaterally. Little depends on real knowledge if you try to argue.
However, there are excellent teachers, quite professional and just great people. There are more of them.
There is always enough parking, if it is full, you can always stand along the road. the dining room is small, but in my opinion it is quite normal.
A lot of extra items. The program has been outdated for a long time. There is a lack of a good honest commission. In general, I do not recommend it. Those who come from Minsk in the hope that it will be easier, 100% are transferred back to Minsk in the 2-3 year. It definitely won't be easier. The level of education is on the periphery, but 80% of students pass to associate professors from 3 times.
in general, everyone who is serious will receive a diploma. But he will get 50/50 knowledge. something like that.
A boorish guard at the entrance to the university, the security system (at the post) does not work, employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Department of Internal Affairs and so on are allowed to pass, and recently graduated students are not considered people, starting even with an elementary tone of conversation. Hypocrisy and nothing more, all the best to the "best" university.
A master's degree, for example. 2 budget seats and 29 paid ones. Is it a good proportion? They teach you a little bit of everything. a lot of extra stuff. In the same master's degree - only 2 years, and philosophy, history, etc. are disgusting. Almost nothing in the specialty. For the crusts.
I have studied the teaching methods of some European universities and the post-Soviet space, the Yanka Kupala University is much more prestigious than them.
I graduated from it 18 years ago, a good university, but like everywhere else you want to achieve something more, you have to do it yourself, the teachers there support and help you in everything.
There are people there who do not respect foreign students at all and constantly yell at them , never explain anything and constantly do everything wrong , I do not know why they work there if they do not know how to do anything...
Good teachers . The building is beautiful. It's cozy inside.

About modern education - it's like about the deceased, either good or not. Inside the building, of course, the transformations are serious, it's nice to be there, not a few funds have been invested.
The establishment is good, but the infrastructure and paperwork system leaves much to be desired. And often the administration comes across the most pleasant people.
