Our hotel was located next to the port and therefore, every day, walking along the Sheraton, we entered the Marina territory. Everything here is for tourists with ostentatious pathos. Everything is clean, which is not typical for this resort. Colonial style architecture, lots of shops and cafes. Once, passing by a street eatery, an elderly German man was seen refusing to pay for a glass of wine and the waiter yelled at him. We intervened and only after that he left the old man alone. Therefore, it is better not to enter catering establishments. You won't find good wine or food there.
We also asked the prices of some yacht owners for diving. They were not very different from the agencies. Therefore, there is no point in negotiating directly.
There is a huge mosque at the exit from the port, you can take good photos. There's also a fish market there. Traders, at your request, will cook any fish, shrimp, lobsters and pack them in foil containers. Prices are reasonable, bargain

It's not a big but very well-maintained embankment with lots of cafes and restaurants, but if you really want to taste the sea variety, then you should go to the local fish market just 1 kilometer from the Marina harbor embankment. You can eat right there, but we liked to take everything away and have a leisurely meal at the hotel bar by the sea.

Everything is very artificial, strained, unnatural, there is no feeling of Egypt, an Arab country, it smacks of some kind of Spain or a scoop for intourists.

From this Marina I sailed on an excursion on the ship "Pirates". Beautiful views when going out to sea, beautiful views of the sea. It was a great excursion, with a stop at Orange Bay for a beautiful photo shoot, snorkeling on a beautiful reef among the fish, with lunch in the open sea (lunch is delicious, the organization is so-so, I don't like queues).
Also from here I went on an excursion on a "Bathyscaphe". I was not very impressed with this tour, the views from the "Bathyscaphe" are not comparable to the views of the reefs when snorkeling. So, there's something bluish in the glass.
