An excellent example of collaboration between the state and private investors. A beautiful, spacious, very stylish, equipped with all necessary equipment, designed specifically for the museum space, the modern complex was built with borrowed funds, but the state filled it with exhibits. They're always finding something in Egypt. There are many artifacts. There are few museums. And it was decided to build museums right in the big resorts. For various reasons, you may not go to Cairo or Alexandria, money, health, time, etc. And here the museum is coming to you. And yet, these are unique things. Unique. The Ptah discovered in Tutankhamun's tomb by Carter is especially good. The original is on display in the window, and the Oscar statuette, largely thanks to him, has this appearance. Earlier kingdom, Fayum portrait, Greece and Rome, Muslim and royal period. The amazing museum, instead of the 40 minutes planned, spent 2 hours and 40 minutes there.

The museum is small, but there is something to see. We arrived on our own, tickets can only be purchased by card. The ticket price is 350 pounds. We were lucky, a small group with a guide came with us and we joined him. With the guide's story, the tour was quite interesting, without a guide we would have gone through the expositions faster, it would have been unclear what we were considering. We recommend you to visit. It's inexpensive and there's a lot to see.

A modern museum, an exhibition from the storerooms of the Cairo Museum. Very interesting. But there is no audio guide, very poor attribution. Difficulties with buying tickets for Egyptian cash (either VISA, or a peasant "on parcels" who runs somewhere and buys tickets). You can take pictures, there are no people. I do not advise taking an excursion from the locals (after all, they speak Russian very poorly and know little), and Russian speakers do not conduct an excursion anywhere.
But while vacationing in Hurghada, you need to stop by the museum.
