I had to buy a pack of cigarettes for the foreign citizen I was accompanying. The store has a separate cigarette stand, but there was no one behind the counter. There were only two people behind the two cash registers who could be contacted. I turned to the employee who was sitting closer to the counter and asked if there was anyone from the staff who could help. In response, they told me: I have no eyes on my back, and I am busy at all. I went to another cashier, whose customers had just left, she was very worried and said that she did not know what kind of cigarettes they had in the blocks and in general that smoking was harmful!))) After another 10 minutes of persuasion and explanations of the same thing, I still managed to buy what I needed, but it is obvious that even without knowledge of the Russian language, the foreigner I accompanied realized what a disgusting service we have. It turns out that if a minimally unusual situation happens, and it's not just that they took yogurt from the refrigerator and brought it to the checkout, then that's it, the employees no longer know what to do and how to behave? And there is no manager or anyone else to help these negligent cashiers? So-so, in general, the service, I definitely don't want to go back there.

The assortment is good, the sellers are polite. BUT for me, as a tourist, it was not at all clear why payment with the MIR card was not accepted, when in absolutely all other places payment could easily be made using this payment system. But then, in a nearby store, they explained that this was due to the fact that the owner of these supermarkets was "Baltic" and did not serve the MIR payment system in principle. Well, that's sad 🤣

A pleasant store with prices at the average level. However, during "peak hours", in particular at lunchtime, queues at the ticket offices can reach 15 minutes. With 5 cash registers, I have never seen more than two working. I would like to see self-service cash desks in place of the remaining cash registers in order to somehow reduce the queues.
I also ran into a situation twice: I stood in line for ~ 10 minutes, and at the checkout it turns out that the product is not in the database (the barcode does not beat).

I like Martin's store. You can always buy chilled meat, i.e. chicken legs, back quarter, always fresh. The price is very pleasing, in other stores it is more expensive by 1-1. 5, or even 2 rubles. There is also a large assortment of sausages, sausages. Delicious grilled chickens. Canned food is not expensive for animals. Dairy products are always fresh too.

Huge queues at rush hour when all people are coming from work, it would seem that there are five ticket offices, only 2 work. The saleswomen are terrible, in the sense that they are rude. All terminals accept my card without any problems, however, when they did not accept them, they started yelling and shouting at me with accusations, I think this is unacceptable. Also, somehow the terminal froze completely, debited the funds, but did not show that it was paid. I had to reload, it took about 15 minutes. The vegetable section is always full of midges and dirt. Almost all the goods there are mildewed and wrinkled. I do not know if this is considered a minus, but for at least three years there have always been two sparrows flying there.
