Since 2014 it became dirty, decrepit hotel with stinky rooms and annoying staff.
The good things are location and price .
Can't say anything about food and swimming pool, haven't visited this time.
We just returned from the UAE. We stayed at this hotel for a week. Everything that is written about the hotel is true. Great location. Close to shops, metro. Getting to any place is no problem. We visited the Flower Park and the Golden Frame on our own. Attentive and friendly staff. We checked in earlier (at 10.30), when leaving after 12 we left our things in the luggage room. The flight was late, the transfer was completed in the lobby of the hotel without any problems. The hotel and rooms are clean. Water was brought daily. Towels were changed every other day. We ate at the hotel restaurant-we took breakfasts and dinners. The food is monotonous, but you can always choose what to eat. We cooked fish well for dinner. From fruits - apples, melon, watermelons, sometimes there were pieces of kiwi, grapes, strawberries and blueberries in sliced salad bowls. For dessert - 2 types of cakes, 2 types of cupcakes and croissants. Apple, pineapple and orange juice. Tea and coffee. A transfer to the beach is organized. But the record is for the day. Check-out at 9.30, then check-in at another hotel, people were picked up there and from the beach at 14 or 15 o'clock. We took them to Al Mamzar beach, Then we chose a paid one (5 dirh)for admission to the park or free of charge. In my opinion, the transfer to the beach is the weak link of the hotel. It took a lot of time to check into another hotel. Sometimes it came to swearing-when people signed up, but there were not enough seats on the bus. There is a swimming pool, but they did not reach it, they gave out towels by the pool, which they allowed to take to the beach. I liked the hotel, I recommend it.
In general, the hotel corresponds to its stardom.
What I liked: a decent buffet, timely cleaning with the renewal of water bottles, stable wi-fi throughout the hotel, stable pressure of hot and cold water.
What I didn't like: there was no Russian-speaking staff, there were no disposable slippers by default, I had to ask, there was no possibility of warming up my food, a shower cap, disposable toothbrushes, any kind of blanket. The pillows were hard and did not contribute to the natural position of the neck. The windows do not open, as a result of which there are a large number of bird waste products on their outer surface. The air conditioner realized what was required of it (to warm up the room) only on the third day. The shower room has a cold floor and there is no foot mat. A closet without doors with hangers bolted to the crossbar, which does not allow them to be removed and clothes straightened
