Good afternoon! We also visited Armenia in 2023. The Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factory was chosen for the tour. The factory is located in a very picturesque place, and nature beckoned... They greeted us kindly... The territory of the factory is well-maintained and very diverse, there is a lively corner, its own vineyards, a mill and its own branded store... We had a guided tour and tasting. The staff is hardworking and very sincere. The plant produces various jams, jams, juices, compotes, canned vegetables, as well as fruit, grape and cognac wines. I can safely say that Ijevan products are natural, high-quality and sooo delicious!!! I believe that I will return to this wonderful place again!!!
Good time of day. 👋
We visited the Ijevan Wine and Cognac factory in the fall of 2023. It's a very large and beautiful factory and a wonderful, magical place, with wonderful people and great products. Delicious canned food and alcoholic beverages are produced here.
We met very hospitably, conducted a professional tour and tasting, and received a lot of useful information for myself. There is a small zoo at the factory, I was impressed by squirrels and ostriches.), an impressive museum is being built (I will definitely visit the museum next time if possible) and a company store with beautiful stained glass windows and shelves on the wall are made like honeycombs of bees, it looks amazing. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, everything with meaning and history. I really liked the cellars with collectible wines and vintage collectible cognacs. The view, the aura, the aroma in these places beckon, invite you to try these ancient drinks.
I advise everyone to go to Armenia and visit the Ijevan factory. An unforgettable place both in beauty and taste. 🫶
I was in Ijevan in the summer. I decided to take an excursion to the Ijevan factory . I'm impressed!
The scale of the territory and production is huge ! Clean, tidy, modern equipment. Museum halls with a history !
Friendly and Hospitable factory staff .
Delicious tasting!
I will definitely come back again.
I bought brandies for gifts at the factory 's company store . Although there are their branded stores in Russia and the prices are almost the same.
I visited my family in Armenia and went on an excursion to the factory. Well, I think let's go for a walk!
There are very beautiful places around the factory itself, and of course the kind hospitality of the Armenian people) we welcomed them with all our hearts!) The territory of the factory resembles an old wine cellar (there are also old wines here)
They showed us the process of making wine, and even gave us some drinks to taste. We tried the choicest red wine, the amazing aroma, and the taste, I was amazed. I know a lot about wine, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wine factory.
Everything is beautiful and well-groomed, pleasant staff, competent guide, all this together leaves only kind and pleasant impressions. I recommend everyone to visit and feel this atmosphere.
I praise the organizers of the Ijevan plant for their quality and attitude towards people. It is definitely worth visiting the factory again and examining the products in more detail. I definitely recommend it!
Hello everyone I recently went on an excursion to the Ijevan Wine and Brandy factory, and it was simply unforgettable! I really liked the atmosphere of the factory — cozy, with the spirit of history and traditions. The guide talked so fascinatingly that even I, who am not a particular connoisseur of wines and cognacs, listened to every word with interest. The tasting left a pleasant impression: the aromas, flavors, and serving were all top—notch. I will definitely come back here again and advise everyone who appreciates high-quality drinks and interesting excursions!
I want to come back again! We visited the factory on a guided tour, learned a lot of interesting information, visited the production halls: distillation, cognac, wine, preservation, we were impressed by the perfect cleanliness and order, we tried various drinks in the tasting room, including 20-year-old Nemrut cognac, the product quality is above all praise, really made with love. The hospitality is excellent! If you are going to Armenia, I definitely recommend visiting the Ijevan plant. Super cool!!!👍🔥
We were at the factory with a group tour. The territory of the plant is clean and well maintained. The guide Aza worked with us. She talked very interestingly about the history of the plant and the current state of affairs. She answered all our questions.
There is a small zoo on the territory of the plant.
Since the summer of this year, you can have lunch at the factory. The management still has a lot to work on in this direction.
Tasting cards for almost all products are available on the website. There is a choice for every taste and purse. There is a shop at the factory where you can buy all products a little cheaper than in Armenian stores.
The beautiful views of nature around add to the pleasant experience.
,Review of the wine and cognac factory
We visited the wine and cognac factory this summer with our family, and we had only positive impressions.
The tasting was well organized. We tried different types of wines and cognacs, and they were all at a high level. The wines were diverse, each with its own unique taste and aroma, and the cognac was simply magnificent — smooth and rich.
The service is also excellent. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were happy to share their knowledge about the production process and the history of the plant.
We recommend all wine and cognac lovers to visit this factory. It's a great way to spend time with your family and get new experiences.
It's a wonderful place! We visited the plant twice, in 2018 and in 2021. Such rapid expansion and development has never been seen before. By 2021, the plant has been replenished with a large number of new, modern equipment for the production of its products. I really hope that we will be able to visit them again! In fact, you will be like the long-awaited and most expensive guests at the Ijevan Wine and Cognac Factory!
Good afternoon! I want to share my impressions about the Ijevan wine Brandy factory. I visit my homeland every year, but this region attracts me. By its extraordinary nature . Ijevan is rich in churches and castles, eloquent witnesses of the region 's history. This is where the factory is located . The Ijevan Wine and Cognac Factory continues to enrich the traditions of Armenian wine and cognac. The factory is constantly expanding its range, offering fine wine lovers. Great place! The staff was helpful, they told us everything, conducted an excursion, and after that there was a tasting room. I recommend visiting a very decent product if you find yourself in Armenia
I visited the factory in the fall, I wanted to study the manufacturing process of my favorite products from the inside, so to speak. And this is precisely the value of excursions-to see things that you usually don't notice, and to visit places where you can't get there on your own. First of all, it's cleanliness, everywhere, in the territory, in the workshops. The cellars have their own atmosphere, as if you are plunging into the past. Nature is simply fascinating, I want to spend hours looking at the mountains. There is a small zoo at the factory, the animals are well-groomed, it is clear that they are very much loved. There is also a shop at the factory where I bought gifts for myself and friends.
I want to share my impressions about one of the fascinating excursions in Armenia, namely a visit to the Ijevan Wine and Brandy factory. The territory of the factory is very beautiful and clean. Pleasant staff who will tell you in detail about the history of the plant, touching upon the history of Armenia. The products are of high quality and natural. 👍🏻
I live in Russia and am a regular customer of the Ijevan store. I have always dreamed of visiting the Ijevan Wine and Cognac factory in Armenia.
In 2024, I managed to fly to Armenia and I realized my dream!
We went to the factory, we were greeted very politely and beautifully. There was a wonderful atmosphere at the factory! We fell in love with Armenia all over again 🇦🇲
We were given a tour of the factory, and were shown the manufacturing process of well-known products. There is a mini zoo on the territory of the factory, cute ostriches and squirrels walked.....We were very happy and with these emotions we returned to the hotel.
We will definitely come back! 💜
We visited the factory last year!!! It's a fairy tale , we've tried and seen a lot. Own - eye production 🍇🍇🍇all real , high - quality and delicious products ! I would like to share my impressions. We had a rest in Armenia and visited the Ijevan factory. It is striking from the threshold, very beautiful and looks like a fortress. There are several workshops inside, a wine distillery, a preservation production and storage warehouses with cognac and collectible wine. We were also treated to delicious and high-quality products!! You can't write everything..

I had a rest in Yerevan in early October, and on occasion went on an excursion to the Ijevan wine and brandy factory.
I liked the atmosphere. The plant itself is located in a picturesque mountainous area. The air there is clean. The territory of the factory is well equipped, there is even a mini zoo, which is very pleasing to tourists.
Now about the tour.
The wine technologist explained how the wine is made. You could see the barrels in which the wines "rest", and even try new items from the Sapor line.
Then the cognac maker told how cognac is made. There is an unusual resinous woody aroma in the rooms where barrels of cognacs are stored. It was explained that cognac evaporates through the spores of the barrel-"The share of angels"-it sounds so beautiful. We were treated to 20 years of Nemrut cognac. It is mildly drunk and very fragrant.
Then the fruit vodka production technologist also explained how they make such delicious distillates. They have different colors: pomegranate, mulberry, apricot, etc.
In general, I can write a lot.
I recommend visiting this factory, you won't regret it!
The best factory, the best production, everything is clean, delicious and of high quality, not only alcohol and canned food, but also compote, everything is at the highest level 👍
I was at the Ijevan factory. We were greeted very warmly and amicably. We observed the process of preparing preserves, wines, and cognacs. We were also lucky enough to try the forty-year-old cognac. It is an unforgettable and exquisite bouquet of different flavors.
We bought a bottle of 1.5 liters of dry red wine. The store seems to be branded. Recently opened. Lenta, Novoe Devyatkino, Leningrad region. The seller advertised it as a young dry wine. We wanted to try it at the tasting, but only white was poured there. I liked the white (at the tasting). We bought it as a gift, but decided to try it ourselves (so that we wouldn't be ashamed later). They opened houses. The liquid in the bottle turned out to be tinted with water, with the addition of a minimum of incomprehensible alcohol (there is still a degree) with some kind of persistent unpleasant odor. There wasn't even a whiff of wine. This is the situation. I don't recommend it to anyone. I swore off buying Armenian alcohol twenty years ago. I thought that at least something had changed. Alas.

Have you been to the cognac factory in Ijevan?
Ijevan Wine and Cognac Factory
It was formed in 1939 by the decision of the government of the Armenian SSR to build a winery in Ijevan. But the Patriotic War destroyed all plans, and only 4 years after the war, the old order was updated. In 1949, it was decided to build a reception center for grapes.
From the 50s to 1976, there was a reception point on the site of the Ijevan winery. Over the years, more than 300 hectares of vineyards have been planted on its base. In 1968, construction began, and only in 1976 the plant was put into operation.
☝️ At the same time, for a long time, the plant was primarily a supplier of cognac and champagne wine materials to the Ararat Yerevan plant.
🍷 From 1992-1996, like many production organizations, it suspended its work. And after privatization, in 1997, a complete restructuring of the production and management links was initiated. As a result, in less than a year, the Ijevan plant turned from a secondary winemaking enterprise into a company that controls all stages of wine production - from grape harvesting to bottling of finished products. In 1998, the plant received a bottling license, and 2-3 years later it was already producing more than 6 varieties of wines.
The mild climatic conditions of the Tavush region are unique for Armenia, it is one of the few places where European grape varieties have taken root perfectly.
Since the late 1990s, the factory has been independently using its rich collection of wine materials and expanding the range of authentic wines and cognacs.
Ijevan products are in demand not only in the domestic market, but also for world exports.
I really like all the products of the Ijevan plant. I went on a tasting tour - everything is great! My wife and I had a tour for two, it was very interesting and sincere.
Excellent products! Fault. cognacs, vodkas, compotes, etc. Excellent quality. There is a shop outside where exclusive products are sold at an affordable price! I advise everyone!
The best wine and cognac products that I have tried!
