This is the 2nd year in Thailand and the 2nd time for 31 days at my favorite IKON hotel, and that's why:
We have agreed with the hotel to pay directly. Peter helped us with this, thanks to him.
We have returned to the sincere people. It's like visiting relatives. This is very important to me.
View. We took an IKON OCEAN PREMIER room with a sea view. Although the sea is far away, there are advantages for couples. Firstly, there are almost no children in the hotel, and secondly, it is very quiet, unlike first-line hotels or Patong. Cleaning service every day, change of towels and bed linen, and a free bar are replenished daily.
The breakfasts are good. There are fruits, lots of salads and omelets. I'm not a foodie, so I don't have many requirements.
But dinner is separate, and here I always wonder why people are looking for food somewhere else.
We ate for 30 days in the evening in a cafe. Always large portions, delicious, not spicy, as we like.
Steak, eggs benedict, pizza, club sandwich, caesar salad with chicken. Thanks to the chefs for all this. Including the chefs who work in the evening — Sam and Fern. In the evening, we regularly ordered salmon steak, and it tastes much better than in the nearby Mama Jean cafe, because it is prepared with love.
Girls who create a cozy atmosphere in cafes in the mornings and evenings. Yes, that's right. When they treat you like a beloved guest, they always smile and instantly come when you just look, where can you find such an attitude?
The girls' favorite smiles are Ao, Kik, Theen, Biw, Anis, Aleenta, Fifa, Manda, Bam. Thank you girls for the gifts and attention, sincerity and care, you are the best.
Reception desk. People who are always in touch. Peter met us and presented us with fruit plates and certificates for 1000 baht for returning to the hotel. Nice. Unfortunately, I do not know all the names of the girls at the reception, but they are also cool. They always greet you with a smile.
It takes about 17 minutes to walk to the beach, there are cool massages nearby, and fruit stalls.
A convenient point for excursions.
I'd love to come back here again. It's like home here. Cozy and loving.
We went with colleagues, settled here for a couple of weeks. After a couple of days, the negative aspects became obvious, namely:
1) The smell of mold. It is almost everywhere, especially in the showers, where it is also visible
2) The rooms are tired, they require cosmetics, whitewash the ceilings there, wash the shower, wash the curtains ...
3) Service, namely a change of bed linen. They should obviously be changed more than once a week...
One of the obvious advantages is the staff. Friendly and ready to help if you need anything. For example, our bike was dented, and the administrator immediately gave access to the parking cameras to study the recordings.
I liked the hotel, everything is very clean and well maintained. The hotel itself is stylish and well renovated. The breakfasts are very tasty, of the same type, of course, but you will not stay hungry.
