The legendary theater of non-standard solutions. The performances are extraordinary, the actors are alive, the audience is intelligent. To live through important emotions is the most important thing. There is a place in the parking lot
This is a place where you can disconnect from the outside world for a couple of hours. I really like. There is a cozy bar where you can have a snack and drink anything you want. There is one disadvantage, there are uncomfortable chairs.
Wonderful! I was at the play "Tortilla Flat Quarter". At first, I was surprised by such a grotesque on stage - everyone is singing, dancing and exaggerating, the audience is hysterical about anything, the actors pick up the hysteria from the audience. Then I got involved in the process and it felt really good. The guys set up a sauna on stage, and in the end, the only thing that bothered me was an open fire surrounded by straw decorations, which looked quite unsafe, especially for a basement.
A wonderful Russian theater in the capital of Uzbekistan in the city of Tashkent. Excellent and diverse repertoire.Highly professional actors and musicians. I recommend it to everyone to visit!
A unique theater, wonderful actors and actresses. Their performances do not give relief, unloading, but make you think about people's common problems, they demonstrate them so vividly and openly. I love this theater for its boldness and relevance. Thank you 🙏
The best place in Tashkent.
Almost all the performances touched me. The repertoire is great, the atmosphere is special, the staff is normal. The hall is small and it's good. The interior is updated, the repair is good. Style: loft.
A very interesting chamber theater. And how the actors play! Amazingly. That's honest. I don't go to Moscow theaters anymore, the actors are serving their duty on the stage there. And here.. But, as I understand it, the plays in the repertoire are all complex, problematic. If you want to have fun, then not to this theater.
A studio theater, a non-standard, small stage and an auditorium around it. Very modern views and productions. They raise all the hot topics of the country and the world. They always make the audience think, they impress. Bold statements. If you are looking for light impressions and high spirits, then this is not the place. Of the lighter productions, I can recommend the production of "Happy Beggars", an improvisation on current events in the comedy genre, always relevant. I love them, I can write about them for a long time))
My experience of visiting the Ilkhom theater turned out to be extremely unpleasant due to the feeling of open hostility from the participants and organizers. Instead of immersing myself in Uzbek culture and traditions, I felt undisguised contempt for them. Such an attitude not only destroys the impression of the performance, but also damages the image of the theater. I recommend that government agencies take control measures over this theater to prevent such manifestations of negative behavior and ensure an atmosphere of respect for cultural heritage.
Unfortunately, there will be no photos, as the organizers forbid shooting anything.
A pleasant surprise from the actors' performance. I really want to exclaim the classic "I believe!". Theater lovers are required to visit.

The best drama theater in Uzbekistan. No more, no less. Be sure to go. A fantastic hall with seating on both sides of the stage. I saw two performances - both involved musicians as separate "actors" (very cool). The level of actors is comparable to the best Moscow theaters. Directing is in the best traditions of Stanislavsky, with a lot of experimentation and freedom. Well done!
I was at the Happy Beggars play for the first time. 🔥
The atmosphere of the theater and the cast amazed me, that's what art means that gives emotions, connection with the audience not only at the level of communication, but also mentally. I'll go again🕺
A wonderful author's theater, with a special atmosphere, a very diverse repertoire and a talented troupe. A must-visit if you haven't been yet. And if you were, you'll probably want to come back. It is not difficult to buy tickets in advance, which speaks for itself. A real cultural pearl of Tashkent.
Performances often come with English subtitles.
Interesting productions
Lively, funny and sociable with the audience (in a good way!) Artists!
The hall is located in the center
, cozy and compact. The performance is clearly visible from any place.
There is a living room- a hall- a buffet. Comfortable
The performance was delayed by an hour, but it did not spoil the impression of the team's performance. This theater is definitely worth your attention!
Yes, this is the Ilkhom theater! Everything is very cool, especially the BAR) there are many varieties of wines, you can have a snack. Well, the performances are Top-notch)
The room is very stuffy, the extractor hood does not work, or it works poorly, the play Tartuffe at the premiere of which we managed to visit me personally, I liked the first act less than the second, because of the overload of the text, and the lack of action, the chairs are not comfortable, but overall very good. The price for a ticket to the premiere was 240,000 soums. The actor who played Granny and the father of the family, that is, 2in1, was a genius.
Everything is very cool, especially the polite service in the cafe-bar in the lobby! The performances leave pleasant impressions and lead to difficult reflections!
The coolest theater, from the entrance to the exit, and then you take your emotions with you for a few weeks.
I always try to write reviews after a while, on a cold head, so the Ilkhom theater is definitely ready to visit.
We were with my wife on Tartuffe. The performance "went" to us, modern presentation, improvisation, actors, cool, at the end the audience just danced to live music. Thank you to the Ilkhom Theater for the emotions presented, this is the case when it seems that the price for a ticket does not matter when you take away such emotions with you

Chairs are just terrible, if you have scoliosis or just a weak back, then after half an hour it will start to go numb and it is simply impossible to sit still. Another stupid pillar in the middle of the whole theater, hinders the view of the stage. I zoomed in and went to "Happy Beggars" the plot is incoherent and the jokes didn't seem funny. They also cause negative emotions such as domestic violence, racism, etc.
What I want to note is that the actors play very well, but because of the initially bad plot, the uncomfortable chair, it's all difficult to perceive.

I was at the Electrooco concert in Ilkhom, and I was impressed by the performance. I liked the gallery in the theater lobby and the chamber atmosphere of the hall.
What can be said about the Ilkhom theater. One can only wish him long creative years and this status is one of the best Tashkent theaters to keep and delight its audience as long as possible.Bravo!!!

excellent theater, interesting exhibitions and performances, non-standard style, delicious coffee, but very uncomfortable chairs and little space
Great theater! The only downside is that when the premiere of the play is on, there is not enough air. It's very hard to sit for two hours, I want to get out into the air.
The best Theater in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and, I can say with confidence, one of the best in the CIS. Innovative, modern in every sense, with an excellent cast, with amazing intensity and return of energy, physical, spiritual, performances, with constant creative experiments. It's a celebration of the soul!
Yes, the tickets are not the cheapest, but if you looked behind the scenes, you would understand how economically difficult it is for an independent theater to survive. People work, no, They create Art, practically for the idea and love of the theater. I highly recommend it. The only "BUT" - if you have little theatrical experience, start with simpler performances for perception.
If fate has brought you to Tashkent, it is simply necessary to visit this theater! Wonderful work of the whole team!!! The combinations of music, lights, costumes, plot and of course the acting are simply incredible! At the same time, very subtly, with humor, with a certain topicality! I highly recommend it!
Five stars for the performances.
But for me, there was also a noticeable disadvantage - these are terrible seats: hard and low. It's very uncomfortable for a man of my height (190cm). I had to constantly change my position, and towards the end I was not so much enjoying the production as thinking about how the performance would end as soon as possible.
In short, this is the Central Asian "Gogol Center" (in its best days before closure), only on a smaller scale. You can visit any performance — classical, or local productions, it is always very bright and sometimes very bold (the thought comes: are we really in Uzbekistan? Is it possible?). It is better to buy tickets very, very early, on the website of the Kazakh ticket (I do not know why this is so), because the hall is small. After the reconstruction after the fire, interesting exhibitions are held in the lobby, and there is just a cafe.
Very atmospheric! We went to the play "Tortilla Flat Quarter". An almost immersive theater. I liked the acting and the orchestra. There are not many seats in the hall. The performance is in two parts. The interval is about 20 minutes. There is a buffet where you can drink tea/coffee and have a snack with various pastries.
I've been walking for more than 20 years, what now, what then, beyond praise! I like the way they put on familiar performances in a completely new presentation!
I like improvisation !
Definitely recommend it👍
The Ilkhom Theater is a modern, uncensored theater in terms of self-expression. This is a great place for a cultural break from the hustle and bustle of the city. After visiting the performances of Ilkhom, you will definitely not be left without impressions.

The day before yesterday I went to the play "White, white, black stork" a good production, the actors gave everything 100%. A small cozy hall. Very warm atmosphere . I had a very good time there.. impressions of the performance were not released for a long time afterwards., And I also understand that I want to hear storks in the sky)
The best theater in Tashkent.
Excellent repertoire and director.
It is not inferior to the best theater in Moscow.
I recommend: Tartuffe Moliere.
And basically all the others too.
My wife and I went to the
Ilkhom Theater and we really liked it)
Very modern productions, modern, bright, with live music.
There are a lot of tricks in directing and productions.
For the most part, the repertoire reflects current realities and touches on acute topics. The theater has a very creative, free atmosphere. The interior is specific, as the theater is chamber, but it has its own charm. Exhibitions are regularly held in the lobby.
The horror is terrible! Very, very, very disgusting! The hand did not even raise one star to mark! I have never seen openly rude obscenity under the guise of art anywhere before! It's not like a theater, it's not even a farce! Only the work of one actor pleased me, because the actor's professionalism, strong personal charm and excellent ability to improvise were clearly visible, which literally pulled out a completely empty role. Insanely sorry for the time and money spent. I do not recommend from the word at all!
The Ilkhom Theater is very peculiar. Despite the constantly changing repertoire, it is always sold out, the hall is full of people.
Personally, I like this theater.
But the repairs made a long time ago are making themselves felt. It is necessary to update the cosmetic repairs. In the cooler season, it feels like the heating is not working well. Directly in the theater, you need to change the usual chairs to normal comfortable chairs. The restroom is missing part of the plastic rim for the thicket and there is no toilet paper.
