In my opinion, the best clinic in Batumi. Professional doctors and administrators, good equipment and most importantly, everything is very friendly. I have an anxious dog, but even the doctors have found an approach to it and it is very pleasant. It's not scary to leave the dog in a day hospital for the whole day, because I know that the dog will be treated carefully. Well, the bandages on the paw with hearts are separate
It seemed that the specialists imposed unnecessary procedures on us for the sake of money. Or simply incompetent.
They treated a kitten named Orange, whose salivary gland became inflamed and a lump formed in his mouth.
I'll tell you the background first:
We live in Tbilisi ourselves, but we were passing through Batumi.
On September 5th, we found a lump in the kitten's mouth. On the same day, I went to the clinic in Tbilisi, the kitten was examined by a therapist and said that his salivary gland was inflamed and a surgeon's consultation was needed. But there was no surgeon in this clinic that day. We planned a trip from September 6 to 10 from Tbilisi to Batumi. The therapist of the Tbilisi clinic said that it was not worth canceling the trip, but it would still be necessary to consult with the surgeon upon arrival back. The kitten felt good at the same time. I ate and played. But since I am anxious in this regard, I decided not to take risks and not wait until I arrive back and decided to consult a surgeon in Batumi at the Impulse clinic. The clinic's reviews inspired confidence.
On September 6th, we arrived for a consultation in Impulse. I would like to ask the surgeon exactly how critical our situation was. As a result, both the therapist and the surgeon examined the kitten and said that they needed to take a cytology test from this salivary gland and at the same time make a puncture so that the lump would go away. I repeatedly asked the doctor if it was exactly reasonable in our case to do it now, because this procedure was performed under anesthesia, and the cat was stressed because of the long journey. To which she said that this lump could burst at any moment and the cat would get worse. Well, after hearing these words, of course I agreed!
What we have in the end: the lump came out again on the same day after the manipulations of the surgeon of this clinic, the procedure was absolutely useless!
The next day, I called the clinic, said that the lump came out again, they told me that according to the results of the analysis, the kitten had inflammation. But it was clear even without analysis! Of
course, there was no clear answer from the doctors to my question, and they said that they needed to have an operation to remove the salivary gland, and that there were NO other ways out.
We did not do it, it was time for us to return back to Tbilisi. The kitten would simply not have had time to rehabilitate itself, and we already need to go back. The kitten's condition was still good.
Upon arrival in Tbilisi, I went to another clinic. There we were prescribed ANTIBIOTICS and anti-inflammatory drugs. The lump was pierced again, but without anesthesia and very quickly, literally in a second. And she passed.
Without surgery.
They also told us that manipulations made in the Pulse were not necessary.
125 lari were wasted. Why do this puncture under anesthesia and take unnecessary tests? Why it was impossible to think of prescribing antibiotics is unclear.
We visited the clinic today with a cat, got vaccinated. Peaches was very afraid, but valiantly withstood all the procedures performed by a very sensitive and attentive Dr. Lev. We immediately felt that we had fallen into the hands of a specialist) The doctor answered all my questions about nutrition, water, and also consulted on the issue of antibodies, this information turned out to be very useful and important.
I also want to mention the work of the specialist at the reception - very friendly and friendly. She also gave us some useful tips about the next appointment.
It is very convenient that there is a veterinary shop next to the clinic. In general, we are happy with the visit, for all cat health issues - only there!
OUR EXPERIENCE OF TREATMENT AT IM-PULS in BATUMI😢
Among the advantages: good technical equipment of the clinic, convenient location. They quickly give out test results.
Of the minuses:
There is a feeling that the clinic as a whole is not very interested in your pet. Pay the money and we'll do something. There is always a very large flow of fuzzies and there seems to be not enough focus for each pet.
Our Eugene died, there is probably no fault of the clinic, such an outcome would have been in the hands of other veterinarians, but there was no normal feedback from doctors and we had a constant feeling of "well, now we will drink medicine and everything will be fine", "now we will transfuse blood and everything will be fine for sure". A more or less clear picture was only at the first appointment with Eugenia Grass, she is the only doctor who was more or less interested.
In total, we had 5 different veterinarians.
And that was probably our biggest mistake. We were confused that we had a different doctor every time, but we thought that once they called us to treat, don't fuck teach, because the clinic knows better.
Each doctor moved according to a very vague treatment plan. There seems to be a general direction, but one doctor says to take a general urine test, another says no, one says you need to drink antibiotics, the second one does not, etc. After this, you do not understand what for why. Maybe everyone thought that his past colleague gave us a clear picture, but no.
Eugene's last visit was the most terrible, they gave him to us with a rag, although we brought him in a normal condition, at home his condition more or less stabilized.
After the hospital, the veterinarian gave us an extract issued by another doctor and his recommendations differed from those words on the discharge. What is the problem with printing a new up-to-date one? The doctors didn't even understand what our cat was taking, in the last two statements we were given a sheet where it says "continue taking ammoxiclav", although antibiotics were canceled for our second visit.
But that's half the trouble. In home repairs: droppers and intravenous injections. We were shocked with the condition of our cat after their hospital and wanted to take him home as soon as possible, and did not think that we would have to put intravenous injections at home.. The doctor did not even ask if we had such an experience and if we could even do such a manipulation on our own. He talked about recommendations, as if it were feeding from a syringe.
Then we turned to another clinic and realized what kind of feedback there could be. We were given more feedback by phone for free at 1 am than for four visits to this clinic (Each visit to IM-PULS cost us 180-300 GEL). The guys were always in touch and were very worried about our cat. They showed how to put ivs and intramuscular injections at home. It turned out that it is very dangerous to put intravenous injections on your own, usually this is not prescribed at home, especially there is no need for this when the drug can be injected into the muscle. They explained in detail what certain drugs are responsible for and why it is so important to take them. In the impulse, it's just an extract and some general explanations. But
even the statement was with incorrect data 🥲
Why did the veterinarian prescribe Metoclopramide intravenously at home? This drug can be safely put into the muscle, and in general there are pills. "Fosfa Ji with food. Long", what does the word long mean in general? We thought that it was necessary to give slowly, it turned out that it was necessary to give for a long time.
Even later I found out that my friends also had a negative experience in Im-puls. They sent an incorrect cytology analysis and could not take blood normally, our cat also had all the paws pierced when other veterinarians did it easily.
If suddenly you have some very complicated sore, always try to be observed by one doctor and, if possible, look for recommendations from your friends.
I recommend the Chucky Clinic, the soul doctors who always really want to help you.
What can I say — the clinic is clearly the best in Batumi: Russian-speaking young staff, reasonable prices, convenient location.
Izya the cat turned out to be a professional hose swallower, but unfortunately, on our first visit, the ultrasound did not show the presence of a foreign body in the gastrointestinal tract. Despite the fact that our veterinarian, who lives in another country, immediately told us to take an X—ray - the clinic refused to carry it out. Why? I don't know.
A couple of days after the first visit, the cat's condition worsened and we took him to this clinic again — this time, an ultrasound scan revealed a hose in the intestine. An X-ray was also performed.
The cat was doused with antibiotics, anesthetized and taken for emergency surgery. After the operation, the cat spent this and the next day in a day hospital. Not a few tears were shed, and money was spent too (which you can't do for the sake of your tails), but I believe that the clinic staff coped 100%.
After a week, our hose swallower became cheerful and cheerful. The suture healed wonderfully, and the ultrasound showed a complete recovery.
Many thanks to Julia and Maxim ❤
We did all the vaccinations of our cat and the permission to fly from Georgia to Russia. They also treated when the cat was sterilized and when she landed unsuccessfully by jumping from the balcony. Qualified and high-quality services. I recommend
The best vet.the clinic of the city of Batumi. There are Russian-speaking staff. They will always help and prompt you. Very competent specialists. There is a shop nearby where you can buy everything that the doctor prescribed.
The best clinic in Batumi, and possibly in Georgia. Competent doctors, take care of pets, explain everything in detail, do not impose unnecessary services and tests. There is all the necessary diagnostic equipment, a laboratory and a hospital.
The clinic itself is clean and well-groomed - this is a rarity here.
It's a pity that they don't work around the clock.
We visited the clinic several times, did X-rays and ultrasounds, got to different doctors all the time and liked everything - everyone is friendly, sociable, and the treatment is adequate. The first time we arrived urgently 10 minutes before closing, there was still a patient in the queue in front of us, everyone was accepted, we stayed for almost an hour - special thanks for that!
