This year it was 10 years since we first rented a room in kulpala. Over time, something has become better, for example, employees who know Russian appear at the reception desk, something worse, for example, furniture in the rooms, but everything is always simple, convenient, pleasant. I have repeatedly met those who went to other hotels, all come back and do not change the hotel anymore.
Nice hotel, clean and cozy room. High-quality dinner and breakfast.
Of the disadvantages, a little later check-in (after 16:00). Otherwise, only positive impressions remained.
Close to the border. The rooms are clean. Convenient for children. The SPA is good. The food is decent, but the assortment has decreased over the years. On weekends, a boat rides on the lake.
There are only two halls, there is 1 large slide and 1 small one. Adults were frankly bored (compared to the spa in Narva), saunas for some reason did not warm at all, very low heat.
And according to Finnish tradition (and also for a fine of 100 euros), you can only stay in saunas without bathing suits (in short, naked) both men and women. Well, in general, it is...I won't go a second time.

We had a rest with the whole family on holidays
A good spa) There are a lot of Hydromassage
The breakfast is delicious, but there are few places (apparently there were holidays, at 9 a.m. all the tables were already occupied),
The room is so-so. It's very dusty and somehow not tidy. It definitely needs repair. (we took the standard for a family with a child)
The location is great. Fresh air , lake
A normal spa hotel for Finland, plus close to the border. Minus the cost of accommodation, if compared with Estonia, it is cheaper and better there. (for example, meres in Narva yisu)

Not a bad hotel. The food is expensive and the choice is not rich, but everything is delicious... I haven't been to the SPA since the renovation. It used to be very cold. I hope you've fixed it...
It's just an outrage! Due to the pandemic and the closure of borders, booking dates are NOT postponed. They offer to refund the money, but minus 40 euros. But this is force majeure! This transfer is not our fault. Everyone around goes to a meeting - they return the full amount or give vouchers, but here they apparently decided to cash in this way. Think carefully before booking in advance.
We had a great family vacation. I especially liked the outdoor pool. There is no better place to rest from the road. There are not many people without fuss and jostling.
We choose this spa hotel for its proximity to St. Petersburg.Nice rooms, excellent spa complex, there is a swimming pool outside.Delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds.
Excellent cottages with kitchen and sauna, Lake Saimaa on all sides, spa center across the street. On Saturday evening and Sunday morning, the pools are more than crowded. Breakfast at the hotel, I liked it
We were only at the water park, cozy, nice, clean. It is divided into two zones, younger children are fine, older ones are not very interesting - the slide is one and not too exciting))) but we liked it!
A small, boring, not the cleanest water park. The Russian-speaking staff (Sonya) misleads and imposes additional services, the price of which is 35 euros. The manager makes clean eyes and pretends to be deaf-mute and does not speak the language completely... The same service and for the same money, you can get anywhere without leaving. A ruined weekend.
It 's not a nice big water park . One quite exciting slide shows the acceleration speed . Paths with contrasting water (it is not immediately clear what to do) it is useful to walk on ice then on hot water.
I did not like the late check-in, at 16 o'clock, according to us at 17 and at 11 it is already necessary to hand over the room, and even clean it.A good breakfast. There are few saunas, plus you have to take off your bathing suit every time, and I like to warm up and swim a few times.

This is not a water park!! It's a bunch of funny and different pools, one slide, one sauna, the joy is only in the various pools. breakfast for 4* is not bad, but average, the hotel itself is already too old
Breakfast is not bad. Just like the hotel. I'm coming here for the third time. The first in business. The second one is with his family. The third is with a loved one. This time, something out of the ordinary happened. I found someone's thong behind the sofa. I thought it was ours. It turned out that they were not mine. For the purity of the two. The new spa building is not bad. For adults, it's better to walk than swim. It's a great place to walk. The Fins are great. Therefore, for a place of 5+, for the purity of the STAKE!
How many times have we rested in Finland, but we have not seen such a murdered room yet,the furniture, the floor are all shabby, there are cracks on the walls when we went into the bathroom, sorry, there was a terrible smell of urine, but I liked the buffet, water park, entertainment for children, cafe, restaurant, there is nothing to say about nature, forests, lakes👍
My favorite hotel.I've been going there for many years. The only thing that has been upsetting lately is the small selection of dishes on the buffet at dinner.
A great place for a family vacation. Skiing in winter, fishing in summer, SPA all year round. However, the price tag has become completely out of budget
The hotel itself is very decent, but the water park is intended only for children, there are a lot of people- we were on Monday and in October, maybe the children have a vacation?
The room is unlucky, small, a window to the courtyard with slot machines. There is no balcony or loggia in the room. I had to go outside to smoke. There was no kettle
A great hotel for a holiday.Take bicycles and a camera with you. The hotel is by the lake in the forest. Very beautiful places. You can't get around on foot

It gets worse every year, the apartments are dead, the rooms are dirty, the check-in is very long, breakfast starts late on weekends, especially so that they don't go, because there are simply no places, while the water park saves, but that's for now. The place is very good for walking.

We haven't been here for 3 years. A lot has changed. Shabby rooms in the Promenade building. The heavy air in the non-smoking rooms, the smell of tobacco and mustiness. A broken toilet paper holder. There is dust around the perimeter of the room (if Finks and Russians used to work, now emigrants). The food is Scandinavian strict, no frills. Dinner is 18€, it is unclear why. It is very expensive for a family of 3 people.
Convenient location. We rented apartments. All household appliances are available from the microwave to the drying cabinet. Delicious dinner on the menu.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the SPA is lovely, clean, few people. The room is terrible , not cleaned, finger-thick dust, shower without cabin , single space with toilet , only pastel clean
We got a room in the inner space of the hotel. The windows were tightly closed without the possibility of ventilation. Like in a storeroom. They refused to change it. It was unpleasant to come to a forest hotel in nature and breathe air conditioning. The breakfast is very good. The pool and spa area are nothing special. It's very cool in the water, I wanted to constantly warm up in the bath. The reception staff is unfriendly. The nature around is wonderful. But I don't want to go back to this hotel, to be honest. Except with the guarantee of a normal room.
