We stayed a couple of times for a couple of nights. In 2019, the room was much cleaner than in 2022, but it rather depends on the cleaning team. But the towels and linen are clean. There is Parking, near the Kontula station, five minutes by car to Itis (large shopping center). The entrances are electronic by code, convenient, it is unrealistic to lose the keys. In the room: TV, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, microwave, refrigerator, fan - very useful. There are no mini shampoos, etc., but there is coffee / tea / sugar, etc. The rooms are quiet, although it is the season and there are a lot of people. In comparison with the center, it is inexpensive.
It is convenient if you are driving. However, there is no guarantee that there will be parking spaces when you arrive. In our case, 4 of the 8 places allocated for this hotel were blocked by two poorly parked trucks and the hotel owner cannot do anything about it. Another guest said that at 9 a.m. his car was blocked by the same truck and he had to look for someone who could let him out for half an hour. There are a total of 8 parking spaces allocated specifically to this hotel, 5 more places that can be used from 16-00 to 8-00 and 10 places of public free places along the street.
There is no permanent staff in the hotel itself, so it is impossible to quickly resolve minor household issues. We had only two forks in a 4-bed room. Within about an hour, they told me by e-mail where they could get more forks.
In the room itself, two beds are located in the attic, but this attic is low and you can only move there on all fours :-)
Of course, I understand that the Scandinavian countries are famous for their high standard of living, and this, in turn, affects the cost of this very life. And at the same time, my sincere conviction is that such apartments should not cost such money. Especially in a city that is not even a "millionaire" and is definitely not a tourist Mecca.
Now let's get to the point. The apartments are very, very democratic: the area is 30 squares; the furniture is IKEA; the beds are single, narrow. Of the obvious disadvantages:
1. Location (there are some warehouses nearby and the distance to the center is 12 km)
2. It's winter now and the room is, let's say, fresh.
3. Shower gel and shampoo are missing.
Considering the laminate floor and the room is cool, there are clearly not enough slippers.
