One day we flew to Istanbul for a conference. And in the evening we went to look for an Irish pub on the navigator. The first one was closed, and the second one was James Joyce. Right at the entrance, the guys playing Irish folk were waiting for us. Then we sat down at the table and ordered a lot of food and beer. There was beer, but the food was delayed. But I wanted to eat until my guts turned over, so one of us ran to the tent to get a shawarma. But they burned it down and wanted to take away the shawarma. As a result, we managed to come to an agreement: we ate shawarma, then cooked dishes, then drank a lot of Guinness, took the guitar from the artist on stage and staged our own concert. In short, this authentic Irish Pub became our main place to spend time outside the conference for the remaining three days. I will definitely come back!
I highly recommend it to those who are tired of "kebab, kufta and others". A normal choice of draft beer, Guinness is for 180 lire.
The food is for an amateur, maybe it seemed to me, but the mashed potatoes in the roast seem to be from a package. But the snacks were all normal.
A very good place, I definitely recommend to visit, despite the fact that there is little in common with the Turkish atmosphere, maybe this is a plus.
The food is delicious, the portions are large, a large selection of beer at reasonable prices.
It is best to sit on the top floor, which is turned into a terrace in good weather.
A wonderful pub! Not like these Turkish pseudo "Irish pab" with three taps of dechman beer and the same amount in the refrigerator. I won't say anything about the kitchen, I go to such places to drink beer, not to eat. There are other places to eat, just a stone's throw away, a whole block, with a cheap beer. Here, there is a place for a beer gourmet to roam, and Turkish craft, and imports... There are several varieties of IPA, there are few dark ones, classics, German, Chinese... As an experienced beer drinker, I'm happy!
The place is large, cozy, a lot of entertainment not directly related to drinking beer, but perfectly complementary. Beer is fine, but the kitchen is not at all impressed, I tried steak and pizza from the positions, but I was hardly satisfied.
A very cool and big pub.
We arrived in bad weather. One day we wandered into this pub. It rained all day and 8 degrees.
Five floors of the Irish entourage, in the center of Istanbul)) we played billiards, darts and drank Guinness.
This day just made the whole trip experience!)
