I liked the area and the quietness of the location. The room size was also beyond what we expected, and the breakfast was above average. There were some concerns though, mainly due to their credit card system that did not accept US based Visa, Mastercard or other cards. They did attempt to run the cards but failed to connect, yet my Visa phone app did not even register the swipe, yet it did work at a store and many others around the area. That means their system is not connected and also one must have cash, so make sure to get cash before going to the hotel. The other concern was with getting to the room. The taxi drops off on the side of the hotel, on a dirt road, and there is no elevator for getting your luggage upstairs. We asked for help since I had a double back surgery not too long ago, and the front desk asked a small girl to bring them up! We did not even try to ask again for help after that! And beware of the balcony area, it may give a great view but it is shared with the other room on the same floor, so locking the door is a must.
Overall, a good experience and an awesome location, with a couple of inconveniences that would make this review a 5 star review.

The location of the hotel is well chosen: many architectural monuments, museums, Siab bazaar, banks, cafes and restaurants, and other good places are also within walking distance. And the hotel itself is not located near the road, but in the courtyards of residential 4-storey buildings, but it was not noisy in the courtyards. The hotel is small, there were not many guests in early October. The room is clean, everything you need was provided, but there is no safe. As it became known, the hotel was built in 1911, very original, but it is noticeable that repairs have not been done for a long time, as I was told, repairs are planned in late 2024 and early 2025. The breakfast is a buffet, the food is very tasty, the girls tried their best, thank them very much. Special thanks to the reception staff, they are very hospitable and attentive, they told us what and where to see / buy / organized an excursion. Conclusion: after the renovation, the hotel will be transformed, if I am still in Samarkand, I will definitely stay in it, and I will also recommend it to friends / acquaintances.

The hotel is small and private. The rooms are small, but everything you need is there. The furniture is good, the beds are comfortable. There is a shower corner in the bathroom. The hotel has thin walls, you can hear everything that happens in the lobby. But it's quiet at night. The staff is very nice and friendly. A very cozy dining room and excellent breakfasts, home cooking, varied and delicious. The room has a kettle, tea, water, dishes. The hotel is located quite conveniently, near the center. It is five minutes to University Boulevard, and half an hour on foot to all the sights. The price-quality ratio is adequate.

The best hotel experience. There were 3 people in the family. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions, the rooms are large, quiet at night. Wonderful peronal. Delicious homemade breakfasts, a variety of fruits. A particularly pleasant impression was left by the friendly administrator Nasiba, who not only gave a lot of useful tips and recommendations, but also helped with the organization of trips to other cities.

We stayed in mid-December 2024. The rooms are cozy, clean, the heating worked well, the blankets are warm, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is quite decent for a hotel with 1". The staff is very friendly. Good location, quiet. Registan is a 20-minute walk away.
Some rooms require minor repairs, but this does not affect the comfort of living.

And the breakfasts are simply amazing, homemade, and also a buffet. The room is spacious, the ceilings are high, the air conditioning is working! Great location, the center is literally 5 minutes on foot. It's quiet, there's a small park with fountains nearby.
The prices are very adequate. The staff is friendly and attentive. They fed me even after breakfast was over.
Nice beds and linen. The only caveat is tired plumbing.
Everything is clean, it's nice to be at home.

The second time we stayed at this hotel. We visited it for the first time in September 2015 and now in September 2024 we are staying there again. Clean rooms, delicious breakfasts (samsa, rolls, fried eggs, oatmeal are prepared almost every day, seasonal vegetables and fruits are available. And the most important thing is the location of the Ishonch hotel, which translates as "Trust". The hotel is located at the beginning of Abramovsky Boulevard, between the old and new towns. Within walking distance from the hotel: Gur Emir, Registan, Bibi Khanim, Shahi Zinda, the boulevard itself with magnificent plane trees, a city park, the National Bank of Uzbekistan, where you can withdraw Uzbek soums in cash on weekends. For example, it helped me out. And what kind of hospitable people work at this hotel. Low bow to Nargiza khanum, Nigora khanum, Nasiba khanum. To all the young guys, in general, to every employee of the Ishonch hotel! We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights upon arrival in Samarkand. The location is excellent, only for this you can put 5 stars. The room itself with beds for 4, bathroom for 3, but thanks to the delicious breakfasts, location, attitude of the staff, I put 4. The towel was changed the very next day after arrival, it is very pleasant. The bed is snow-white. For breakfast, porridge in the assortment (semolina, oatmeal), samsa, rolls - you will not stay hungry.

Clean, cozy at home, reasonable prices, within walking distance from the main attractions, location in a quiet, very green area in the city center, delicious breakfasts, polite courteous staff. It is possible to book an excursion to Shakhrisabz, the mountains, and a city guide right at the hotel. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, more suitable for family travelers. The room has everything you need. Fans of "high-tech and luhari" should take a closer look at hotels of the 5-star category and above with a price of $ 400-500 per night, there are a lot of them here. The location is great, the breakfasts are wonderful, the tables are certainly not crowded, but everything is cooked with soul and delicious. Room service is a little lame, and so we lived in standard rooms, linen, super mattresses, wide single beds, wooden pillows, but I travel everywhere with my own.

The location is very good, within walking distance of the main attractions. The receptionist is wonderful, sincere, treated with delicious fruits, thank you! The breakfasts were not bad, but after 9 a.m. there was little left. The room is quite clean, although the furniture is a bit old. I was upset that for the last 2 days the room was not cleaned at all, the garbage was not taken out, there was no drinking water.

An excellent budget hotel for travelers and non-stay-in-rooms. Clean, colorful, very nice lady at Nasib's reception (she seemed to have spelled the name correctly). She told us everything and recommended it. The location of the hotel is perfect. All the sights of Istria are nearby. At the same time, it is quiet and green. The breakfasts are in a small assortment, but everything is delicious and decent. Instant coffee (for lovers of custard I write). Soap products are available, a good hair dryer. Cleaning every day. We were in Samarkand from 7 to 10 May. Thanks to the staff of the hotel! I recommend.

The location of the hotel is very good. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are cleaned daily, as well as changing towels and replenishing bottled water and tea. Breakfasts may seem monotonous to some, but everything is delicious and there is an opportunity to choose different dishes on different days. There is Parking (for whom it is relevant). The plumbing and carpets differ in the degree of novelty in different rooms, but everything works and creates a special flavor. Good internet connection. Sound insulation is not very good, but we were lucky with the neighbors))) The staff responds very quickly to any request (to suggest a route, help order a taxi, exchange money, bring or fix something in the room). We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights at the end of March. The impressions of the city and the country are wonderful! Thanks to the hotel team (Nasiba, Abbosbek, female employees preparing breakfast, etc.) for their professionalism, hospitality and care!!!

The hotel is located in a quiet place, in the courtyards, away from Registanskaya Street. Gur Emir Mausoleum is a 10-minute walk away, Registan Square is 20 minutes away. Friendly staff - receptionist, cooks, maids. Fresh towels every day. Delicious hearty breakfasts (buffet) - scrambled eggs, oatmeal, salads, pies, pancakes, fruits.. Good water pressure.
Among the disadvantages: poor ventilation. You need to keep the window and door open, which is not always possible. Underwear didn't dry well, towels didn't dry at all. Hot water also needs to be passed for a long time to wash under it alone.
But in general, it is an excellent hotel, I am not ashamed to recommend it.

This is certainly not a Hilton, but for those who came to Samarkand to admire the famous monuments of antiquity and the hotel is needed only for recreation, it is very suitable. One of the important advantages is the location is very convenient, all the main attractions of the city are within walking distance. The rooms are cozy, the linen is clean, the staff is helpful. The only drawback was that our room had a small corner bathtub with a curtain, it was not very convenient to take a shower. Breakfast is quite good for a place like this. A good option for tourists in Samarkand. It is located a kilometer from the main attractions on the university campus. The staff is always ready to help - for example, we were organized an excellent excursion to Bukhara by car.
It is worth taking a room with breakfast, as there are no catering establishments operating from 8 am in Samarkand. Breakfast for 4 with a minus, but this is the best option.
Triple rooms are generally excellent, double rooms are a bit cramped. They clean well.
It was really very strange that when paying for an additional day on the spot, we were charged more than when ordering through the Island.
You need to be prepared for the fact that I will charge you an additional tax on the spot on top of the money that you paid for booking a room.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days in May of the 23rd year. It is super well located! Within walking distance from Registan Square and other attractions. At the same time, the place is very quiet, surrounded by squares and a residential area. The hotel has a very friendly staff, Nasiba at the reception will tell you and help you navigate around the city. The room is always clean, there are slippers, water, tea station, refrigerator, air conditioning. The bathroom had a hairdryer and a set of shampoo, conditioner, soap. I stayed in room 203, there was a large balcony and 3 beds. Very good breakfast, a wide variety of homemade dishes. Fruits, cheese, vegetables, national pastries (I don't know the name), pancakes and much more.
Of the nuances: room service - you could go in without knocking, coffee for breakfast is only instant.
I highly recommend this hotel for a stop in Samarkand!

Great location: in the very center - the staircase of the hotel opens directly onto the central square with fountains and the national flag of Uzbekistan. 15 minutes walk to Registan. Convenient transport logistics to the train station and to other parts of the city. The hotel is very quiet. Sooooo friendly (even for such a hospitable republic) staff. Excellent breakfasts: they cook baked eggplant and other vegetables themselves, bake delicious puffs with different fillings! The room was cleaned every day, updating everything necessary. The only excellent location in this hotel is: a quiet, very green place, between the university and government institutions, within walking distance from the center and attractions. This is where the advantages end.
Disadvantages:
1. The staff is inattentive and unscrupulous: upon check-in, the accommodation was extended for one night, we were charged 1.5 prices (not 550 t.sum, but almost 800).
On the eve of departure, they asked if it would be possible to make breakfast for three 15 minutes earlier? We got the consent of the girls in the kitchen- yes, come. As a result, we and another guest had breakfast as necessary - nothing was ready from the word at all. Dry breakfast, tea, sausage.
2. The lower mattresses are packed in polyethylene. It seems that all the guests are suspected of incontinence. The upper thin mattress therefore moves out, the linen does not hold.
3. In a huge aqua zone, the washbasin is stuck under the boiler, although the places on the wall are at least dance🤷🏻♀️ Shampoo bottles are microscopic, just 3 pieces are needed for long hair.
4. Not a single illuminated mirror. How do they wear makeup? With the light from the back?....
5. The usual breakfast time is from 8.00 (a little late, in my opinion, for a country where life begins at dawn). The breakfasts are monotonous, not rich in choice, the plates are rarely updated, so the vegetables are out, then the scrambled eggs are cold.
6. The cleaning is very superficial - the spider web at the air conditioner hangs in shreds and is not cleaned. The towels were changed, and thanks for that.
7. There is an exit to a nice terrace, but there is nothing to sit on - it would be logical to have a table and chairs, but no.

I really liked the employee who met us at the reception. They didn't remember the name. I made an early breakfast. I helped find a taxi to Tashkent, it's not expensive. Don't even doubt it! I had the pleasure of being a guest of this hotel. The staff is above all praise! The reception is staffed exclusively by professionals, an individual approach to clients, in my case, for example, I, who do not understand money (for the first time abroad), or in everyday life - I was directed, helped, organized, everything is top notch! Separately, I want to highlight the masterpiece possibilities of the kitchen (it was just breakfast).. God kissed the hands of the woman who cooks in the kitchen.. each dish is a masterpiece, highlight something..It is not possible. I am absolutely delighted to leave the country and, in many ways, the merit of the staff of this hotel!
