It's a wonderful place.Convenient layout. There is beauty all around! It looks like a closed small town from the inside. There are many shops where you can find anything. A variety of cafes with different food for every taste. Although the building is huge, it is impossible to get lost, there are many landmarks everywhere. This is a place where time, even between flights, can be spent in an interesting and comfortable way.🥰
Great airport. Large, spacious. Despite the huge flow of people, everything is very fast, thanks to the well-coordinated work of employees. There are many shops and boutiques, many cafes and restaurants, there are terraces, recreation areas, sleeping areas and even a museum. You can fly from here to anywhere in the world.
The airport is super. Very big, no huge. The Duty Free zone is huge. Through passages to all boarding terminals. Clean toilets. Two hours of free Internet, registration by passport number or SMS by phone number.
A big, new airport. There are many shops and recreation areas. Large parking and good infrastructure.
A large transport hub - you can fly to almost anywhere in the world.
The prices in the duty free zone seemed high to me.
For Istanbul, the appearance of a country airport is only a plus. It seems to me that he should enter the sights of the city.
Everything is new, served quickly. Registration, passport control, security - everything was done quickly. But the airport is gigantic, the distances are hundreds of meters. If you are called to board, then you can walk not for a couple of minutes, as with us, but for 10-15 minutes at a brisk pace, and you can get in.
There are too many shops. And I couldn't find a business lounge, but it turned out that the Aeroflot and sky team business lounge was closed
A large modern airport.
Very convenient transport accessibility, you can get to the city by metro, without traffic jams and unnecessary fuss, this is just a huge plus!
Navigation at the airport is not very informative, but you can figure it out!
A large, beautiful airport. There are a lot of pointers, everything is clear, do not get lost.
The passenger registration process is fast at all stages. The duty Free is huge.
A very large airport. The airport is a city. But not very convenient for hours of night waiting. There are few places to relax. I came and stood to give other people the opportunity to sit down. The navigation is wonderful. Everything is very clear. And my flight was marked on the scoreboard in my native Russian. I was not at home for a long time, and therefore I liked the "pocket" most of all, where the last minutes of waiting for the Aeroflot plane passed, and where there was nothing remarkable, but it was possible to speak Russian.
A very large international hub. It is necessary to pay very close attention to the connections, the logistics time inside the airport can take 1 hour. There are a lot of people, passport control is weak in terms of capacity, there are few cabins for such an airport, you can only lose 30 minutes here.
Otherwise, everything is great, the finish and scale are at a high level.
Istanbul Airport is a modern complex for servicing air vessels, occupies a fairly large territory, in fact it is a city within a city and this city never rests or sleeps, only its inhabitants are constantly changing.
Here, Duty-Free shops offer goods at every step, you can buy perfumes of famous brands, alcohol, sweets, souvenirs and much, much more.
Almost everywhere there are restaurants and cafes where you can have a snack and eat well.
There is WiFi. At special counters, you can purchase packages of services, for this you will need a passport: one hour for free, then buy.
Spa services are offered at the airport.
There is a museum.
Equipped with special waiting areas where you can charge your gadgets.
Very clean toilets.
Convenient locations of the scoreboard, there are many of them, for tracking flights.
In the port, despite the considerable passenger traffic, there is absolutely no sense of disorder and chaos, the police are not visible, but it works.
The new airport is very cool!
A separate sector for the registration of business class TurkishAirlalines immediately through it you go straight to passport control, it is very convenient
The airport itself is very large, there are many shops and cafes
The business hall is huge , there is a large selection of everything
There are even small rooms where you can sleep and take a shower
In short, the level!!!
A huge and beautiful airport!!! We met a friend from Yekaterinburg there! Convenient parking. There are many cafes on the territory where you can have a snack! Cool elevators! Friendly and courteous staff. A large scoreboard, where it is convenient to track all the information on your flight! I recommend it!!!
The territory of the airport is simply huge. A very large and modern airport. Everything is conveniently located. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops. There are plenty of places to wait for flights.
Everything is convenient, to eat, relax, WiFi, charge the phone.. Cafes in different places.. Due to the fact that the airport is large, you need to arrive in advance. The disadvantage is not to leave in a simple taxi.
Well, if you are not flying for the first time, then everything is simple))) Very big. If you take your time, then everything is very clear. Responsive staff. Even if you don't know the language, no one has canceled the sign language)) Lots of chairs, toilets. Coolers with cold and hot water. In general, everything is for people.
A very large airport. In general, everything is fine, but during transfers, in order to receive luggage, you need to go through passport control and re-enter through passport control. I do not recommend sending suitcases in transit. They often don't get there. WiFi at the airport is free only for 1 hour, then for money. There are many duty free shops.
Oh, it's a city within a city! 😎 The most convenient connecting airport, and at the same time huge - like Domodedovo 5! Be sure to plan the time for connecting - at least 3 hours between flights, so as not to run headlong, especially if you need to collect luggage and go through customs ⚠️
The airport is very large, beautiful and convenient in terms of logistics. Good clean toilets, despite the huge passenger traffic. The price tag for the hotel is very high, very high. Thank you for having the opportunity to fly from here to anywhere in the world.
An excellent modern airport, aspires to become the largest in the world. Everything is clean and beautiful, the navigation is in order. Food prices are high) as in most airports in major cities)
A gorgeous place, having found myself there, I fell in love with life again. A very pleasant place for service and energy! I want to come back again and again, preferably flying there, and not from there
The airport is terribly expensive. If it is possible to take something from home from food, then it is better to take it. The prices here are simply inadequate. Some sandwich is not particularly tasty and will cost 15-20 euros. Coffee at 7 euros.
A healthy, giant airport where everything is done to sell you as much as possible. Solid duty free with inadequate prices
A huge airport, the hub of turkishairlines. Wi-fi is distributed by passport in special kiosks. There are both shops. So are the cafes. The prices are quite normal, the water is 40 lire, and not like in Domodedovo 🙀
A beautiful airport, convenient navigation, a sufficient number of seats and sun beds. The only thing that disappointed me was the prices in the cafe, they are too high.
A huge airport, almost empty. Clueless workers in the arrival areas cannot arrange a queue for passport control. The border guards are on their phones, texting each other. The queue is moving sooo slowly. Of course, they're at work and they're in no hurry. English is bad, apparently they want the whole world to speak Turkish. In this regard, the Russians lead more, the British and Irish are not understood at all.
On departure, it does not do without the traditional calculation when issuing free taxes: commissions + commissions and the amount is reduced by 4 times) so count it first, take a photo. Or even send it in envelopes.
A large airport, constant pandemonium at the flight screen, crowds of passengers running in different directions. Cafes and mogo shops, several duty free. The toilets are dirty, and in general, cleaners rarely appear and neglect their duties. The attendants answer the questions very reluctantly, referring to the information board. Flights are often changed and delayed, mine appeared just an hour before departure (check-in!!!!!). They pretend that they do not speak English, especially Russian, and simply do not want to talk, running away
The airport is huge, but everything in it is very clear. Clean, modern, comfortable, there is Wi-Fi. And even if you need to wait a long time, it does not tire you.
This is one of the best airports in the world, it is simply huge, even with a large number of passengers, silence, cleanliness and order, many shops and duty-free zones
It is a very large airport, you need to come to check-in much earlier, there are a lot of tourists. We checked in through the family turnstile, it's much faster with children there
An excellent modern airport, huge in size with several exit zones and a million shops. Everything is done quite conveniently, queues are minimal. A metro line to the city has recently been launched.
The airport is stunningly large. When I got here, it seemed to me that this was a big city where it was very difficult to understand how to move around properly. But now I go there often and have studied it well. Everything is as simple and clear as possible. And most importantly, do not hesitate to buy food and drinks with you before departure in the suburbs or city. Because once here, everything will cost twice as much. I take sandwiches, nuts, cheeses, delicious pastries. And at the airport itself, I sit down at a beautiful table, taking only coffee, which will cost 5-6 dollars for a small glass. Duty free has not been a place of profitable purchases for a long time. I checked our Russian prices with theirs many times and the difference is enormous. The lipstick that we have is 2000 rubles, I bought it for 2700, duty free is the same) my daughter's headphones are 500 dollars, I bought in Russia for 300, perfume amouage is 300 euros, we have 25,000 and a lot of things that are not worth buying)
A nice, modern and very large airport. Inside you can find everything you need from shopping to restaurants and cafes. There are places to relax and charge gadgets
You can get there by taxi, bus and metro. The subway itself is cool. Underground and surface parking, bus and metro stops, elevator. Everything is for people) Navigation is clear, the main thing is to be careful yourself. Fast food cafes, shops, like in a shopping mall, you can buy: souvenirs, sweets, things, shoes, bags and much more. The price tag is much higher (logically). It will not be boring to wait for the landing. Not far from the mosque 🕌
Istanbul's new airport is cool. Really very big, high-quality. There is everything you want, the prices are not too big. For lovers of alcoholic beverages there is a pleasant option - tasting) But it is fraught with the fact that you can taste and be late for the flight)) Overall, a very cool airport. The waiting time flies by quickly. 5-ka solid
It is a very large and beautiful Airport.
We were in NG, they even handed out champagne in the waiting room, but apparently only for connecting flights from Russia.
The international terminal is very long compared to domestic flights, BECAUSE there are a lot of people from Arab countries with an armful of children.
There are many options for food, as well as for shopping, but prices for clothing brands are more expensive even than in the city itself. Perhaps this is the norm, but we were very surprised when the Polo is 4 times more expensive, and of course in euros. Fire on services, taxi rental, dry cleaning, hotel booking, capsule, taxi free, fountains with free drinking water and charging places, etc. - everything is there. It is important to note that parking and buses are on the minus ground floor. The airport is sooooo big, so it's better to put time on navigation, and if you don't walk well, it's better to take a scooter or a cart with a cab. From one exit to the other easily on foot can be up to 45 minutes at a regular pace. If you want to take a bus to Istanbul or another city, it's very convenient to go to the side of the bus station / bus operator's parking lot and buy a ticket directly on the bus with a Union Pay card (accepts Halyk Bank) or in cash (accepts euros and dollars and Turkish lira). The main thing is to read the inscription on the front window in front of the driver to which city and place the bus is going. There are kiosks at the AIRPORT where you can buy a bus ticket from different cab operators. In January and February, be sure to bring an umbrella in Turkey during the rainy season.
Excellent airport, convenient location, even if you forgot to buy something while in Istanbul, I am sure that almost everything can be found inside the airport
A large excellent airport, there is everything you need, it is convenient to get there by Havaist buses or metro (the station is at the very bottom opposite the airport)
It is large, but clear and convenient. There are no complaints. The Customs service is working promptly. Boarding the plane was also quick. The advantage is 1 hour of free Internet.
Excellent modern airport. At night and in the morning, a large number of passengers may accumulate at the inspection, but you will not have to wait more than 20-25 minutes. Here is one of the best business lounges that we have seen in Europe and the USA.
I've been to the airport several times. Probably the best one I've ever visited. The largest airport, everything is convenient. Completely new. You can get from the airport not only by taxi, but also by bus. The travel time is the same, checked.Stop right at the airport, you don't even have to go, just take the elevator down. Free Internet by passport.
The airport seemed to me to be a huge, such a huge center. A lot of things are on display, but there is no holistic, common thing that unites everything together. I imagined this airport differently when I read that there are baths, hairdressers, and hotels. When I had a long flight and another flight was still ahead, I was very glad to find a hotel located on the 2nd floor, where international flights, to take a shower, lie on the bed, relax and fly on with renewed vigor. All this cost 140 euros. You can have breakfast at their place. I am sure that many people like the airport in Istanbul, but the new Sheremetyevo airport seemed to me much more cozy, more thoughtful, where there are many different restaurants and cafes, and you can choose for every taste where to eat and relax and just sit in the bar.
The only drawback is expensive water, you can tolerate it without food, but it's hard without water.
I appeal to the owners of the cafe and the airport administration, be human and reduce the price of WATER!!!
It is very difficult for transit workers and families with children there.
Everything would be fine if it weren't for the poor organization with the registration of free taxis, as well as the airport is large and it takes a lot of time to get in line to stand and get to where you need to go.
