Istanbul Baklava Maksim Gorkiy is a real paradise for connoisseurs of oriental sweets. Their baklava impresses with the perfect combination of thin dough and fragrant nut filling. The atmosphere of the place is pleasant, the service is excellent. However, prices could be more affordable. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy the magnificent oriental sweets at Maxim Gorky.

A cozy place where you can buy baklava and even drink Turkish tea. I was there recently, it was so cold outside, bought baklava, called a taxi and asked the seller to let me sit in the store, wait for a taxi. He made tea for me and served it on the table. He doesn't know Russian well and I don't know Uzbek, but it was the case when human kindness erased language barriers. Thanks!
