I was vacationing in Batumi and decided to drop by Turkey. I've read how easy and simple everything is ... what a variety of brands and great prices in this shopping center. I'll start from the beginning... the border. I stayed in the car for about two hours. My wife and children were waiting for me in the waiting area all this time because only the driver should stay in the car. By the way, in order to enter Turkey from the neutral zone, you will be required to have insurance. In the neutral zone, the girl in the window is trying to divorce you for three months of insurance, but if you ask enough questions, it turns out that the minimum period is 45 days (although according to the law there is an option of 30 days). Payment is only in lira, dollars and euros... so don't get fooled by what they write in the reviews and don't bring only Georgian lari with you. The insurance cost $57 or 1,600 liras or 160 lari. At the entrance, the Georgians offer to make insurance for 90 lari, but I do not know if it will be real. Now let's move on to the shopping center.... I don't know where you need to come from to be impressed by this household. A small food court and 5-6 "branded" stores such as Cotton, De Facto, Vans, Addidas. The return trip took less, about 1.5 hours.
Disappointed, I visited the city of Pazar, there was a real vibe market, only he saved this trip by showing the real Turkey.
There is a minimum required for such a small shopping center. If you are vacationing nearby in Georgia, it is very easy to get there: minibuses run from the border for GEL 2 or taxis for 15. In the shopping center itself, you can pay in LCW in lari or USD, change in lira (the exchange rate is better than in the exchangers at the border). There is free WiFi on the food court (NAME: 3408bazaaravm PASSWORD: 3408bazaar)
The first shopping center, after the border with Georgia, prices are quite affordable, it is possible to exchange currency (the exchange rate is not very profitable, it is better to change in Batumi), there are cafes. For those who plan to travel from Batumi to Turkey without a car to buy an ideal place, there is still a bazaar nearby.
A lot of different clothes.
There is a large selection of good sports brands, you can exchange currency right there, at the reception.
Some departments accept lari as well
An ordinary shopping center. Nothing extraordinary. A large Waikiki store on half the square. That's actually all. Prices are about the same as in Russia. They literally left empty-handed. The gaze did not stop at anything.
A favorite place for shopping with guests and residents of Batumi. In the shopping center there are shops of Turkish clothing brands, cosmetics and a grocery store. There is a food cord. A real bazaar starts from the shopping center up the street, prices are lower, but also goods from other manufacturers.
It took no more than 20 minutes to cross the border on foot, the main thing is to have time to skip to rush hour, when the locals go back, a minibus goes to this shopping center for 2 GEL, there are a lot of interesting things inside
We went in November. There by Yandex taxi. There is a minibus in Turkey. Back by taxi 15 lira. The shopping center is nothing special, we went for nothing. We bought a few hoodies, jeans and a sweater. In Tbilisi, there are all famous shops in the Shopping center. I bought a lot for the children there.
There are few brands provided, prices are far from low, prices are normal. There is no exchanger nearby, if money is being changed somewhere there, then the exchange rate is terribly low. It's better to have the lira with you already.
The shopping center is not big, but the main Turkish brands are represented.
Not Istanbul, of course, but you can dress up.
In a number of stores, the staff has problems with English, the search for the right size turned into a kind of quest with elements of a crocodile game.
The shopping center, located in Kemalpash, is relatively small. Advantages: close to the border, being in this LCW mall. The city itself is one big market and is of greater interest.
The choice is minimal.
If you have problems with pressure or headaches, that's not your story.
Stuffy, there is no air conditioner, a terrible smell of Dechman perfume.
The first shopping mall in Turkey after crossing the border.
Prices in stores are 15-20% higher than in similar shopping malls in Trabzon.
The food court is inexpensive, the food is delicious
Alcohol in Migros is cheaper than in Duty-free
Union Pay cards are accepted and work
When leaving the country, you can pick up what you forgot. However, you should not expect to find something rare here. Unless it's a gift to someone, or something small. There are several leading Turkish brands and footcourt. In general, it is quite neat and clean. Four points for the scale and availability of large brands. Something bigger could be built on the border, given that many neighboring Georgians and even from the south of Russia go shopping. Even in Trabzon, the choice is not so great. So, the nearest major outlets and malls are in Antalya.
Not far from the border, the advantages end there. Migros is a bit meager. The prices of clothes in boutiques are more expensive than anywhere else in Turkey.
It is a decent store for the village of Kemalpasha. They sell only for lira, which can be purchased (exchanged) at the entrance. The product is of higher quality compared to roadside stalls.
I didn't find anything for myself there. Everything is expensive. It is clear that the prices are too high for tourists. Of course, it's worth a walk and a look.
There is almost nothing here, but if you go further down the road there are a lot of good things

Not inspired at all . A small shopping center has a food court and several brand departments. I recommend that if you come by minibus from Sarpi , then first go to the terminal in Kemalpasha and then slowly walk in the opposite direction to the shopping center. There are a lot of textile shops on the streets in Kemalpasha (they accept both lari and lira, bucks, euros), several grocery chains (payment is only in lira). Back there is a final minibus at the shopping center and a lot of people passing by ( they stop themselves and call , there is no need to even raise their hand )

Come here from Batumi if you want to save money on buying simple clothes and household goods: LCW, LCW Home, Mave, DeFacto, Migros and other stores
The couple did not go at all ! Several shops and a couple of fast food outlets! There is a migros! If you want to buy Turkish sweets at the exit, do not count on this shopping center
