I recommend it to all lovers of weapons and military history. The exposition is very extensive, there are many exhibits; you can't get around the museum in a day. The description of some exhibits is not very accurate and not particularly detailed, but it does not spoil the overall impression.
At 15:00, everyone can listen to Turkish military marches performed live - quite interesting, although somewhat unusual.
It is useful to keep in mind: museum tickets are not sold for cash. Why is unknown.
This is a very good museum, I recommend everyone to visit it. the price is not very high , there are so many expositions that you will spend the whole day, and it is very interesting ..and the most interesting part awaits you at the end, when an old military band performs. In the costumes of the warriors, the artists play instruments, as it was when the fighters went into battle. and it's very energetic, it's unique, exciting, the music reflects the battle, a fierce battle. The concert is every day, I think at 4:00, it is indicated on the website. The museum is magnificent . The area around the museum is also very beautiful. accessibility is good, we took the subway and walked from the subway for maybe 10 minutes.
I'm giving you a B due to the lack of information in English. There is very little of it. I don't know how it is now, but when I was there, there were no audio guides, so I couldn't get comprehensive information from the museum. But the collection itself is amazing. If there were explanations in Russian or English, you could hang out for half a day. I was stuck there for 3 hours without even understanding the language and most of the explanations.
