The hotel is next to the embankment, where there are restaurants. There are several shops nearby. Walking distance to the nearest beach is 10-15 minutes. 10 minutes to the old town market.
The hotel is old, but there are buildings with a fresh renovation. For a small surcharge of 1000rubles per day, we were given a room in a new building. It is located a little further from the pool. It's quiet, clean, cozy. In the old building by the pool, the rooms are very "tired" and noisy. In the evening, the British sing karaoke until 23 o'clock, so living by the pool means listening to karaoke in the evening.
The breakfasts are below average, not tasty and not varied. But the food to order in the restaurant is quite decent and at an adequate price.
There are crumpled, dirty tablecloths at breakfast and everyone smokes. The hotel has 95% English speakers and they seem to really like smoking. They, as a rule, do not care about children nearby, pregnant women and whether everyone is ready to have breakfast in clouds of smoke. So, I advise non-smokers to look for a table away from everyone.
The service is very good. The staff is polite, friendly.
There is a travel agency with a Russian-speaking director near the hotel. We went boating, really liked it, everything is well organized and at an adequate price.
