We just arrived from this hotel. We really liked the huge and beautiful territory of the hotel, clean, the buffet is simply bombically delicious, there are phenomena for all tastes
Special thanks to the staff, they made our stay unforgettable even at the end of the season. There is a spa, a real Turkish hammam, a gym, a swimming pool and a sauna. The rooms are ordinary, but we were not in the room practically! The beach in front of the hotel gate with sun loungers and umbrellas) We recommend ♥️ it does not look like a typical 4
A very beautiful courtyard with palm trees. At least do photo shoots. Nice rooms.
The cuisine is very good, especially for Turks. Breakfast is simple, but lunch and dinner are very good.
We arrived at one o'clock in the morning, but we were accommodated.
Convenient location, close to the center with a castle and there is a street with pubs nearby. The beach is sandy, but the water is clean, there are fish. If you go to the cape, behind the marina (boats), then there will be a variety of fish, hedgehogs, cucumbers ..., but the coast is bad for entry. Only swim with a mask.
July 15-25, 2024. The hotel is 4* and you should not expect more. The food is varied, no one is interested in the guest, do what you want. Towels for the beach without restrictions, there were enough sun beds until our citizens arrived. The traditional Russian fun "take a sunbed" has begun, the sun beds have been occupied since early morning, there are no hosts, normal guests are at a loss. Fortunately, it was a couple of days before I left. I note the poor cleaning in the rooms. Neither complaints nor tips have solved the issue, not only with us. I did not understand by what rules and criteria they were cleaned. Animation in English, different throughout the day, water slides in the morning and afternoon by the hour. You can walk around the village, not far from Bodrum. It's okay, no fuss. The main thing is the sea, the sun, a loved one)
The Jasmine Beach Hotel is not a bad four. As in any hotel, of course, you can find both pros and cons (here it's about taste and color, as they say). But I want to write about my criteria (perhaps they will coincide with yours) and what met these criteria and what did not.
The hotel has a very decent room stock. The air conditioning is working, a good mattress, towels and linen are clean, cleaning is unobtrusive, but daily, there is a kettle and a safe in the room. Good water pressure, which is not unimportant. And, unlike Alanya, the water is normal, without foreign odors.
We got a room in the farthest part of the hotel - and in the end we were very happy about it, because the balcony is in the shade, there is no noise from the central pool.
But there are also rooms whose balconies overlook the pool (literally - 20 cm from the water) or directly onto the restaurant area, or directly onto the inner sidewalk. If you are not satisfied with this option, check it out immediately before checking in. They have a map of the hotel at the reception.
But keep in mind that Wi-Fi in remote rooms is only on the balcony.
Indeed, the hotel staff hardly speaks Russian. You may hear some phrases from them, such as "please." Only English and Turkish are available at the reception.
On the first day you will have a meeting with a separate guide, it is best, if you do not speak the language, to ask him to solve all organizational issues with you (on accommodation, ask questions at the reception with his help, sign up for an a la carte restaurant, etc.).
There are several pools on the territory of the hotel: one central pool the restaurant, there is also a tiny pool for descending from the slides (three small slides, two of which are purely for children); two pools on the roofs of buildings with sun terraces. ! It is important to note here that the sun beds are occupied from early in the morning - they leave towels and go on business, so at 10-11 o'clock it is unlikely to be possible to find a free sunbed.
I didn't notice much animation. Mostly in the evenings, children are entertained with dancing and music is played. Once we got to a Turkish night (performances by local artists).
Meal. It's a very good choice. But almost every day (+/-) it's the same thing. If you don't eat everything in a row, putting three plates with a mountain, then this variety will be enough for you for the standard 7-9 days. The only thing that bothers us a little is that there are no porridges for breakfast (only dry oatmeal, separately hot milk - they say, pour it yourself; and cornflakes); for lunch there is only one type of soup (if it can be called soup at all - rather vegetable lean broths).
The a la carte restaurant, to be honest, did not make any impression at all. There was a choice of kebab or fish. The fish was cooked terribly not tasty, even the herd felt sorry for it, only the products were transferred.
And in an ordinary restaurant for dinners: chicken, meatballs, stewed beef, there was fish on the grill, once there were mussels, a lot of stewed / baked vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes), a lot of fresh herbs, olives, cheeses, sauces, rice, pasta and other things. You will definitely not stay hungry.
The alcohol, surprisingly, turned out to be decent, even the juices from the boxes, not the concentrate. It probably affects the fact that most of the vacationers are Europeans and Turks themselves.
There is little Russian speech in the hotel - for me this is a plus, there is an opportunity to switch, relax. No one looks askance, everyone is polite and friendly.
There is a volleyball net on the beach.
And now about the cons:
This is rather a disadvantage, not of the hotel itself, but of its location: This is the penultimate hotel from the edge of Gumbet Bay. And the reviews, which say that the sea is dirty, unfortunately, turned out to be objective. This bay is very deep into the land and narrow. There are a lot of boats and boats that sail and park in the immediate vicinity of the bathing area. Therefore, an oil-gasoline film forms on the water, it can be seen at a certain angle in the sun. In the morning, the water is more or less clean, but after lunch, the wind brings debris to this edge (leaves, films that flew off the beach from vacationers). The water doesn't seem disgusting, but there's nothing to admire either. The Aegean Sea is indeed much cooler than the Mediterranean. But the teeth do not chatter, on the contrary, it refreshes in the heat. The sand is dark with shell crumbs, it heats up a lot - we walked to the water in sneakers.
The beach starts to be cleaned from about 8:30-9:00, until that time almost all the sun beds are free, people go to the beach after 10:00. Therefore, if you get up early, there will be no problems with accommodation on the beach.
There are a lot of dogs on the beach! They are not evil, but if you are not a fan of animals (especially homeless and not very clean), then it will bother you. They sleep wherever they want - under/next to sun beds, swim in the sea. No one chases them, they seem to live there all the time, because they are the same every day.
The old windmills of Bodrum are right behind the hotel on the hill. I must say right away - it's worth going up there - the view from there is amazing! From there, we noticed that, it turns out, if you walk away from the hotel to the other side of this hill, there is the purest- crystal clear bay of Bardakchi. That's what we did in the morning. 20 minutes on foot and you are on a wild beach with the purest water! Just be careful when entering the water - there are sea urchins in the rocks there.
Of course, it's stressful to go there every day, especially in the heat.
But the hotel has very convenient transport links to Bodrum. Minibuses depart directly from the hotel gate every 15 minutes. 30 liras, 7-10 minutes and you are at the central market/Bodrum embankment. Any minibus with the inscription "Bardakchi" will take you back directly to the hotel.
And finally. What excursions we took: the valley of the Dalyan river with turtles and kupinium in the Mediterranean Sea. It takes 3-4 hours to get there, check out at 5 a.m. - we are very tired. The turtle was alone and appeared for one minute. Swimming in the sea in the hottest weather, sun beds are paid (150 liras). Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.
But an evening yacht trip with dinner - it would be better to go on it twice instead of turtles)) Bathing with masks in the Aquarium bay with incredibly clear water, a walk between the islands, dinner on a yacht and sunset - definitely worth the money. We went from 16 to 22. Recommend.
To sum up: Bodrum is a very beautiful place and it is definitely worth a visit! It is worth choosing a place in open areas or at the exit of bays where water does not stagnate.
Thanks to the hotel for the hospitality and cleanliness, but I would not return here because of the sea. It's too dirty in this Bay.
I hope my review was useful to you!
The hotel is a solid four. The room is good, I would like more food, but you can eat, I would like a variety of fruits, and that there was a description in Russian. The beach is small, the sea is certainly dirty, animation is every day. Not far from the city and close to the airport.
We rested from 29.08 to 05.09.2024. It takes about an hour to get from the airport by transfer. The hotel is not bad in principle, the territory of the hotel is not to say that it is large and not small. The hotel has 4 swimming pools, one of them with slides. It takes 3-4 minutes to walk to the sea, depending on where you will be settled. The rooms are good, the food is good, you can eat and you can choose too. The a la carte restaurant is included once during the stay. The only negative is that all the staff speaks only English and I would like a cleaner sea. It's clean in the morning, and in the afternoon the wind blows up the garbage.
A good hotel, but there is a huge BUT: dirty sea, you need to keep in mind that this is a bay and garbage is being washed up here, hotel employees are trying their best to fix it, catch garbage. In the morning, as a rule, the water is clean and you can swim. There are no problems with sun beds. Once, an oil film was noticed due to nearby ships. It was not a problem for us, we met Jihan on the beach, (I will attach a photo), he offered a boat tour (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!) for a pleasant price we got a trip to the gorgeous bays of Bodrum, clean and warm water, an interesting underwater world, a wonderful lunch, pleasant music. From myself, I can recommend the ship Sunshine, with captain Tolga, very pleasant! As for the hotel itself: the territory is good, the food is not too varied, but tasty and high-quality, there was no heartburn and a feeling of heaviness. There are few fruits, and, unfortunately, there is nowhere to buy in the vicinity, only from sellers on the beach, but it is not cheap. The staff is very friendly, smiling, all issues are resolved immediately and without problems. We were checked in immediately upon arrival, although it is stated that check-in is not earlier than 14:00. The rooms are not too new, but clean, with nice balconies. There is Wi-Fi, but it works intermittently. Excellent swimming pools on site. A good bar with delicious drinks, good animation. The tours from the tour operator were expensive. Not far from the hotel there is a street with souvenir shops, clothes, supermarkets and clubs. In 10 minutes there are windmills, from there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city, in 20 minutes there is a small Oasis shopping center with good shops, you can get to the center of Bodrum by taxi for ~ 200-300 lira or by Dalmusha, right from the entrance to the hotel, for 1 euro/pound.
There were 10 days in July 2024. The rooms are cleaned disgustingly, or rather they are not cleaned at all!!! The floor has never been washed in 10 years! The foot towel has never been changed, and when I told them to please change the foot towel, it was removed altogether! She asked me to wipe the mirrors in the bathroom, so they just wiped it with a dirty rag! As for the food, for 4-. In the mashed soup, I came across a wire, as I understand it, from a tin washcloth. The child's hair came across in the dishes all the time. The sea is still nothing in the morning, and in the evening it is very dirty!!! The administration does not hear requests! To the sea 2 min. The nearest pharmacy and supermarket are 15 minutes away. 20 minutes by minibus to Bodrum.
The kitchen is good. A hotel with traces of former luxury. Repairs are required. Claims to the beach in everything: there are not enough sun beds, mattresses, small in size. Room service is good, linen was changed every two days. It's a 40-minute walk to the city center, just over the mountain.
A cozy hotel with a well-groomed territory, convenient location, has its own beach. Wi-Fi in the hotel catches everywhere, but not in the rooms. The room is clean, large beds. The maids are constantly cleaning up the trash and putting clean towels. The entire hotel staff is very friendly. Everything in the restaurant is delicious and fresh. The main drawback is the dirty sea.
We were with my daughter in July, I liked everything, but there is much to strive for))) It is better not to use the kettle in the room, it melts, the taste of water turns out. The sea is muddy in this place, my daughter was diving, they caught an intestinal infection, and they are so happy, although it is expensive for 9 days more than 200 tons from St. Petersburg
The hotel is nice and big. It consists of different 2-3 storey buildings. There are quiet places. The rooms are clean. The plumbing is a bit "tired".
The restaurant is good, the food is varied. Every day there was fish in different forms, meat, chicken. Grill every day.
The only negative is the beach. Considering that the hotel is in the village, the sea is not completely clean, the beach is littered, despite the cleaning. Garbage is coming up from the bay by lunchtime. So lovers of swimming can only go to sea on boats.
Great hotel. Excellent staff, always ready to help at the first request!!!! Excellent food, no frills, but everything is very tasty!!! The Aegean Sea was a bit disappointing. The photo is so beautiful, blue, but in fact, when you enter it, it is gray. Apparently it's because of the gray sand at the bottom. And terrible winds. Moreover, the stronger the wind, the colder the sea. It's like the wind is cooling him down!!! I recommend this hotel to everyone. A very good combination of price and quality!!)))
Everything is fine, except for the room in the club where we lived. It seems that since the time of Sultan Suleiman, judging by the situation, no one has changed or repaired anything. Especially the bathroom impresses with its antiquity.
The place is not enough for four, the food is delicious, but there are not many varieties.
The pools are clean, drinks in the vending machines are heavily diluted
Nice cozy hotel, convenient location. Three different pool areas, the room is cleaned regularly. The food is monotonous, but there are many different dishes. Olives and olives of 5 types. There is always meat and fish. There is a Turkish cherba for lunch. Animation in the evening
The hotel and restaurant itself left the best impressions, but the beach is just terrible, it resembles Indian Varanasi, dirty water, does not clean at all and only wolfhounds
Hello everybody !! We had a vacation with my husband in July 2023, we can note the very hospitable and friendly staff , excellent staff, delicious varied buffet food, where everyone will find food to their taste... We would like to thank Hamdullah for his friendliness and optimism towards us)))
Crowded, cramped, with little to show for it, except for the fantastic ability to squeeze everything possible out of the square, the hotel. All pools are located on the roofs of residential buildings. Newly renovated, spacious enough rooms. But the sloppy, careless staff. Broken sockets, locks, hot water interruptions. Problems are solved by tipping, and quickly, but still it would be better if these problems did not exist. In addition, there is not only not a single Russian-speaking employee, but you will also find English speakers. And I have never seen such a dirty and disgusting beach as in this hotel in 25 years of traveling to 22 countries of the world. It's an outright dump. I couldn't overcome my squeamishness and didn't go into the sea. I had to limit myself to swimming pools. And normal coffee is prepared only in one of the three bars and two restaurants.
The ideal location to get to the center, clubs and Oasis shopping center on foot.
The cleaning is so-so, for 12 days they have never changed the bed linen and many other shortcomings.
The staff is helpful. Responds in English)))
The food is normal. I'm a little tired.
3 swimming pools and a small gym with exercise equipment that no one repairs) but there are dumbbells))
In general, it is quite normal.
In Bodrum, we decided to break off suddenly, we did not plan our vacation in advance, we chose from what we have. They understood perfectly well that the Aegean Sea is cool even in August, let alone June. The priorities were local attractions, relative proximity to Pamukkale (a trip was planned there), well, time at sea on a yacht, and here the Aegean Sea is beyond competition in its beauty.
The hotel is located in the village of Gumbet and, in fact, this is its main drawback. Gumbet Bay is very closed, there is practically no direct sea view anywhere in the main part of the village, especially from the hotel, which is located in the very depths of this gut. Gumbet is a small village, it takes 20 minutes to walk along and across. Right at the entrance to the hotel, you can take the dolmus 2-57 and leave for Bodrum. It's a 10-minute drive. It costs 15 lire in cash. In general, payment there is only by cards, but the drivers take the money and punch their own. If there is no lira, the fare will cost 1 dollar/euro/pound. A taxi stop is also nearby. You can take a taxi to the Midtown shopping center if you need anything.
The hotel itself consists mainly of 3 rows of 3-storey small buildings with a pool area and a relaxation area, which can be reached by elevator. The system is not a corridor, the rooms face directly onto the street, which we really liked. The Club rooms are distinguished by old renovation. We booked a new room, but the difference between them is not fundamental. The room has everything you need. It's not cramped, but it's not spacious either, it's fine. The rooms on the 3rd floor have a smaller balcony. The mattress is great, the stiffness is perfectly matched to our taste. There is a kettle in the room, tea bags are on arrival, but they are no longer replenished. Water is brought daily, in addition, water in 200 ml of "yoghurts" can be taken at the restaurant and at the bar on demand. The safe is free of charge. The air conditioning is good, quiet, it doesn't blow on the bed. The renovation in the room is quite fresh, but no longer perfectly new.
The restaurant of the day 4 * pleased me. It is quite diverse, a large selection of dishes. Of course, do not expect any special delights. The grill is open for lunch and dinner. There are always 2-3 types of meat to choose from (of course, mainly chicken and turkey, less often beef) and fish. Watermelon is also sliced for lunch and dinner. There is a snack on the outdoor terrace above the main restaurant from 15 to 16 and tea with buns from 16 to 17 in the lobby bar. The snack helped us out a lot upon arrival, as we were late for lunch, we did not use it anymore.
The staff at the reception, restaurant and bar are very friendly and try to help. I accidentally left my glasses in the bar - they searched the whole hotel until they found them. Forgot the password and locked the safe - it was fixed in 3 minutes. The tables are cleaned very quickly, at the time of peak load, the waiters try very hard to organize empty seats as quickly as possible (but problems with them sometimes occur only at dinner). The staff does not speak Russian, 80% of the vacationers are British. But the room service leaves much to be desired. Migrant workers from refugees work mainly. I wanted to write that they are being cleaned for show, but no, they are not being cleaned at all. In addition, the mind can hardly understand the logic of their actions. So, at the end of the stay in the bathroom, a MOUNTAIN of toilet paper was piled up, which was strictly brought in two rolls every day.
Towels were changed from clean ones on the shelf to even cleaner ones, but foot towels on the floor or bath towels on drying were fundamentally ignored. In general, a lot of strange things happened with room service.
Beach towels are issued by cards and changed according to need. One day, my son handed over the towels and forgot to pick up the cards. I explained the situation without any problems, and they gave me new ones.
In terms of animation, something is happening, but I don't really know what, since I'm not an amateur. They played darts, some kind of belly dancing came, but mostly the entertainment was purely amateur, of course. By the way, those living in the rooms in the main building are forced to participate in them voluntarily, since their balconies overlook the main pool.
There are two pools, one main at the restaurant, the second upstairs in the relaxation area. Almost all the guests crowd around the pool. It may be difficult to find a place there, but we didn't try. There are small slides, they work. The pools are visually clean, I won't say more, since I have never swum in them.
Beach... Well, the beach. A modest village beach with a dedicated hotel area. The beach is cleaned well. The sand lies in a rather thin layer, there are pebbles. If necessary, beach boy will bring you sun beds, mattresses, among them there are broken or torn ones. The beach is adjacent to the yacht parking lot, it is better to swim to the right. The water in the bay, of course, is not crystal clear, but in the morning it is quite acceptable. In the afternoon, the wind usually rises and brings some kind of turbidity. Of course, it is better to take a yacht and sail to the open sea (which was planned from the very beginning).
So what's the bottom line? Did we regret that we went to this hotel - no, we did not regret it. Will we go to it again? It is unlikely to be much, even if it is on a fairly burning ticket.

Ahem.. the sea in this bay is dirty, and in general it is not the best location) the staff is good, polite and friendly. And now for the cons) the food is absolutely not tasty, there is no bar on the beach. The volleyball court is a PPC)) there are no lines, no borders, there is a road nearby, the coating is the smallest granite crumb for Indian yogis) animation is zero. The pool is clean, which is a plus. There is a territory, but this is the only advantage.
The hotel corresponds to its 4*, the cleaning is average, the location is good, the beach is close

In general, it's not bad, there are few Russians, there is animation, the food is good and varied, several pools and a couple of slides. We were out of season.
I liked everything.Beautiful well-maintained territory .Nice rooms.Excellent staff. The food is excellent, there are always new dishes.I recommend it to everyone.
