I go here to train in the boxing gym on the 2nd floor. The building is relatively new, it is 15 years old at most.
Everything is as usual, like all government buildings, there are guards, watchmen and technicians inside. Everything is clean inside, the floors are regularly washed with bleach. Sometimes it is very noticeable that the eyes hurt.
There is a vending machine with drinks and chocolates on the ground floor.
Now about the hall itself.
The boxing hall is good, there is a ring inside, two locker rooms and showers. The shells are a little sparse (only box pears) it is understandable that the institution is state-owned (state-owned), therefore so. There are Swedish walls, horizontal bars, bars, barbells, kettlebells and I think everything is on this, oh, I almost forgot there is a sledgehammer and a tire from a car)
According to the locker room, the furniture (wardrobe) is completely rolled up and the number of closets is small.
Showers will work in principle, it was even worse in the army. The showers lack shelves for shampoos, washcloths and soap and hooks for towels.
Now about the coaches, I can say that this is the best boxing gym in the city, I go to coach Yerlan Manashbayev, a good guy, puts the training program for the group competently and wisely. Although there are many of us and he is alone, he tries to devote time to everyone, in which case he comes up and corrects mistakes. He puts his soul into training and gives himself to the students, that is, to us completely, it is clear that a person loves his job.
Yerlan mainly focuses on boxing school, technique, working out in pairs and sparring during training.
In my opinion, it's better than standing and working stupidly on shells that don't give you change)
If you want to sign up and come, you won't regret it.
Now about the atmosphere inside the hall, I go to group trainings in the evening at 8 p.m. There is an individual lesson that is better in the initial stages, especially for beginners.
The boys of the returning contingent of trainees are different from 16 to 50 years old. All the guys are simple, adequate and sociable. There is no show-off, fuck-up.
And the level of fighters is different, those who are experienced stand in pairs with experienced, beginners with beginners, etc.
There are cameras in the hall.
They don't steal or take anything without permission.
A very good sports complex, the only disadvantage is Parking, there is a dining room on the territory of the complex, they cook very tasty, but the prices are expensive, in Almaty prices in such canteens are lower. And here there is no choice , there are no shops and canteens or cafes nearby
The only pharmacy where there is a blood pressure monitor, my blood pressure increased, I went through 3 pharmacies in the center, there are none anywhere, only there they helped me a lot, politely advised me what to buy and gave me the opportunity to rest while the pressure subsided
