A very good establishment, delicious and decent cuisine, beautiful food, friendly and hospitable service, live music and dancing in the evening. In the morning there is a breakfast menu, at lunch there is a business lunch in parallel with the main menu (to choose from). I liked everything very much. We only visited this cafe every day. We had a rest with our family from July 8 to July 20, 2024 at the Poseidon Hotel in Novaya Gagra. Despite the fact that the hotel had its own cafe, we always went to the Pearl.Fast and beautiful serving, delicious dishes. During our stay in Gagra from 07.03 to 03/16/2024, it was one of the few working establishments on the embankment in Novaya Gagra and very close to our Grand Hotel Abkhazia. We went there several times in the afternoon and evening, celebrated March 8 there.
For me, this is a cozy, colorful southern seaside cafe, live music and dancing in the evening, background music in the afternoon. You can sit on the sofas downstairs, you can smoke at the tables there, there are ashtrays, a dance floor nearby 👌
There is a 2nd floor, there are tables with comfortable chairs and a view of the sea. When we built (or restored) a second veranda on the 2nd floor. On March 8, a beautiful photo zone was taken and in the evening there were fireworks on the embankment (I don't know, though, from the cafe or one of the visitors started it, but it was super). There were vases with fresh flowers (kala, tulips, irises) on the tables.
In terms of food, everything that was tasted here during the rest was very tasty. We mostly ordered all kinds of fish, we also took soups (fish soup, local hodgepodge, tom yam), khachapuri boat (it's very tasty here), pita bread, Pearl salad with seafood. There are no complaints about food and serving, everything is beautiful and delicious. The waitress girls are very friendly, they know all the menus and advise what to try. Even on the evening of March 8, with almost a full landing, they coped well👌
There are dishes on the menu with a price per 100 grams (mainly meat and fish), pay attention to this. We immediately asked when ordering how many grams eventually came out and, for example, baked trout was taken for 2, because it was about 500 grams each and it was just a lot for one. We tried trout baked in foil, with vegetables, with shrimp and cheese, with mushrooms and cheese - everything was very tasty. Be sure to add lavash or khachapur to it - dip it in fish sauce 🥰
And, by the way, even Tom yam (ordered it here with skepticism) turned out to be worthy - spicy and lots of seafood and mushrooms.
When paying, 10% of the service fee is immediately included in the bill (this is indicated in the menu). In my opinion, it's even convenient, you don't have to bother with tips. If you wish, you can also leave an additional one.
In general, I can say that if I am still in Gagra, I will visit this cafe with pleasure both in the afternoon and in the evening 🔥

We visited this place the other day (June 2024) - the Pearl restaurant! They gave two stars, this is for the musical accompaniment and for the location! Everything else is a solid fat minus, these are unfriendly waitresses, a terrible toilet, impossible stuffiness on the ground floor, and herds of mosquitoes. As for the kitchen, we ordered only different assorted dishes, so we did not try the kitchen, but as for the wine, we were unpleasantly surprised that the wine was already brought to us, and not opened with us. We came to the cafe in the evening, decided to have a nice time with our family, but instead we were met by a waitress with an unpleasant tone, and later during the evening she treated us as if she was being whipped here, unfortunately I don't remember her name, well, then she started ordering, asked for separate checks, what do we need they refused, they said only 1 check on the table, the dishes were brought in different order, i.e. first ice cream, and then everything else, although I think everyone knows that dessert is taken out last...
The food was delicious, but literally after 6 hours I started rinsing from all the cracks, my stomach hurt terribly after, while the last time we eat in the morning and only drank water during the day, so other food and departure do not count, it is specifically from this cafe/restaurant.

The children did not like the pizza, they bit into it and threw it. The meat of the Abkhazian is delicious, but the portion is negligible. The boat was waiting for eternity, when the whole family had already eaten, they took out a burnt pie, the cheese was baked and did not stretch. To my indignation, the waitress said: it's not burnt yet... The toilet is dirty.

Прекрасное заведение с официантами знающими стандарты обслуживания, отдельное спасибо Маисе . Форель на мангале приготовлено вкусно и не долго , мидии запеченные понравились тоже , так же брали картошку и пиццу , все сделали быстро и вкусно , с домашнего коньяка никто не болел , никто не отравился , в последний день отпуска все провели вечер просто отлично, подняли настроение и оставили хорошее впечатление. Единственное может можно было бы придумать какие-то вентиляторы навесные или что то еще , так как было душно перебрались на улицу) но заведение одно из самых лучших по нашему мнению в Гагре , спасибо

We've been in a couple of times. We were sitting on the 2nd floor.Since this is a summer cafe, the policy of the institution does not prohibit smoking at the table. Because of this, it is not very pleasant to be when you are eating and there is smoking nearby. Just because of this - 🌟
But I really liked the kitchen, we took soup, salad, dessert. I would also like to mention the service. There was a female waiter who tactfully advised on the choice.

They refused to pay for such a "dinner", and the staff took the food and did not deign to offer a new one. It can be seen that the alignment is on the fool, it will blow or not. 23.08.23г отдыхали в кафе Жемчужина. Впечатления остались только положительные. Всё было очень вкусно, заказывали салаты порции большие, всё свежее. Заказывали шашлык из свинины тоже очень вкусный. Цены приемлимые. Обслуживание на высшем уровне. Официант Алина очень внимательная и культурная девушка, шашлык не доели, она нам всё аккуратно упоковала, сложила и отдала. Диджей это отдельная история весёлый парень. И сам очень хорошо пел и музыку ставил хорошую. Может поставить любую на заказ причём бесплатно. Вобщем я всем советую посетить это заведение. Мы в восторге.
