The worst hotel we've been to, the only one worse was in Havana, Cuba, and that was 10 years ago. The hotel did not warn that they had repairs, they started making a lot of noise in the next room from 7 a.m., it was not possible to sleep. After spending the first night, we complained, promised that work would start at 10 a.m., and even wrote a letter. The next day I was woken up at 8 a.m., no complaints helped to solve the problem. Although we warned that we had a long road ahead and asked to get some sleep. The hallway stinks of cigarettes and mold. WiFi in the rooms does not work from the word at all. The air conditioner was said not to work, since the summer is over, no one cares what's on the street plus 25. In the end, they generally said we can refund the money, but the fact that it is not possible to find a hotel day after day or only for triple the price, no one cares. I booked this hotel almost a month in advance. They said there were no other available rooms, although the next day in the evening a whole delegation of Chinese came by, which means that rooms were simply left for them in the wrong place where repairs are being made. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The mood was spoiled for two days in a row
An old-school hotel in the center of Shanghai and a five-minute walk to the sanctions nest. The authentic atmosphere of the thirties of the last century. Museum rooms, wood, parquet, stucco. For an amateur.
