Bad staff and not tasty food

I’ve stumbled upon this place accidentally, while walking around the city. It was lunch time, and there were no customers, which seemed concerning. The waiter was nice and very polite. I was really impressed by the quality of all items. To me it felt like a fine dining experience, plus it was in the outdoor setting in a secluded and peaceful location. I would definitely go back next time I’m there.

I was invited to Jeevan's restaurant, the show program, dancing and live music were amazing, and that's it! The kitchen with its price tag left much to be desired, the salad was like Caesar, there was grass and cheese on top, and the lamb was just disgusting! A chic restaurant. We were sitting outside on the summer terrace, where the interior is quite simple, but if you want a classic restaurant look, then book a table inside.
All the food was delicious: Yerevan vegetable salad with pepper sauce with just incredible tomatoes, beef cheeks with mashed potatoes and adjika (I didn't have enough sharpness here, but it was so delicious that I didn't ask for anything), very tasty bread in a bread basket.
Dessert "Duduk" was taken on the recommendation of our waiter without studying the composition. I don't usually like chocolate ice cream, but this time, it seems, I fell in love for the first time.
The service is on the level, the speed of delivery corresponds to the speed of food consumption by guests.

The JIVAN restaurant is the real embodiment of refined taste and a cozy atmosphere. The service is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are excellent both in taste and design. It has been a long time (or rather never) we have run into an institution in which we did not like any of the ordered dishes. For me, Jivan is an anti-rating leader. And this is a restaurant with a fairly cheerful price tag, adjacent to the Holiday Inn hotel.
We couldn't place an order for twenty minutes - they just didn't notice us. After the reminder, the order was accepted, but the waiter was clearly "floating" and could not tell about the composition of the dishes, simply assuring that they were very tasty.
As a result, I mixed everything up, and what I brought was bland, tasteless and cold, although they did not wait long.
Yerevan salad with some peppers is in fact just Bulgarian peppers and tomatoes cut into large pieces, a little green on top and a cap of fresh whipped cream of orange color. Not salty, no spices - just biomass.
The name of the second salad was not remembered. If you find three unfamiliar words in the menu, in the "Salads" section, know that this is him. The result is a couscous-type cereal with a lot of butter without taste, without spices, without everything!
Beef cheeks with mashed potatoes - beef is rubbery and cooled. It's not tasty.
Sterlet with cauliflower is just boiled sterlet and cabbage. The sauce, like all the other dishes of this restaurant, is bland and impersonal.
Some kind of strange, unnecessarily loud music. Waiters, then massively running in, then also massively disappearing - this is a separate song. While clearing the half-eaten dishes from the table, the waiter did not have a question about whether everything was OK with their quality.
They asked for a settlement, they paid with a card. The bill is in the local alphabet, go guess what you paid for. After the receipt came out of the device, the waiter solemnly said one word - "EVERYTHING", and in English, without saying goodbye, left.
We still haven't come to our senses where we got to, and can this really be…

Although we did not order from the menu, everything we tried was at the highest level of taste and quality. The service deserves special mention — attentive waiters and friendly hostesses have created a cozy atmosphere.
We were especially pleased with the availability of underground parking, which greatly facilitated our arrival. There is no need to spend hours searching for a parking space in the city center. In general, the Jivan restaurant has left pleasant memories, and we confidently recommend it for a visit.

We have booked a table at the Jivan restaurant for the Armenian Christmas, which falls on the night of January 5th to 6th)
There were a lot of people, although we thought that everyone would be at home) We ordered all kinds of fish, since it is customary for Armenians to eat fish at Christmas.
The food was very pleasant, everything was delicious. We took local whitefish with scallops, sea bass with fried grapes, sterlet with cauliflower and Dorado! Everything was very tasty and beautifully served. The waiter Rafi helped to pick up the wines, in the evening there was live Armenian music.
A very atmospheric place, we recommend it)

We are pleasantly shocked by the beauty of the dishes in this restaurant. We walked on Republic Square, saw the sign, went in for lunch.
We ordered a vegetable salad, local fish with scallops (we didn't have time to take a picture) and Dorado, it's just in the photo! The dish is not only beautiful, but also very tasty! All the dishes that were served to us were amazing. The place has been added to our piggy bank of delicious restaurants in Yerevan)

This is just a crazy delicious place, your taste buds will be immensely grateful to you. The interior is very beautiful, the waiters are excellent, the cook is generally out of competition. We ordered strachatella salad with strawberries, filet mignon steak, cheese plate, trout tartare, meat from the chef, beer and cocktails. It is impossible to convey in letters what a gastronomic delight we left there.

We had to come here, because all the nearby restaurants were busy. They put me in a heated veranda. I didn't like anything here at all. We waited a long time for the waiter to take the order. I accepted the order and did not repeat it. As a result, I messed up the dishes. All the dishes were tasteless. That's it!!! 2 salads and 2 hot ones. The meat was barely warm. Everything is fresh, no spices, no salt. The receipt is in the local, do not check. Strange loud music. No sincerity, everything is slow, not interested.

I was visiting Yerevan. Our big company decided to celebrate their birthday at the Jivan restaurant, and it was just an amazing experience. The staff deserves the highest praise – 3 waiters were assigned to our table, carefully watching every detail. They not only poured drinks, treated delicious food, but also created a real enchanting finale, bringing out a cake under fireworks and performing "Happy Birthday" together with the rest of the staff. The food was simply delicious! Thank you for a wonderful evening and for creating an unforgettable atmosphere of joy!

We have breakfast with a friend in the morning at this restaurant. Very tasty cuisine, we often take pancakes with caviar and eggs Benedict (salmon is not spared here). Cheesecakes are served soft and airy. Few places in Yerevan know how to cook them, they do here.

The place was recommended by friends. The interior is gorgeous, there are no words. We were greeted politely. The service is also decent, attentive waiters. However, there are still questions about the kitchen. The hot dishes were served cold, the fish was half-baked. As far as we understood, we made a discount because of this, thank you for that. A very tasty place! Our favorite in Yerevan!
The meat is cooked tender and juicy! We took shish kebab and flank steak with eggplant mousse, we couldn't tear ourselves away from such yummy food.
