Quite a good kitchen (barbecue, manti, everything except the rather non-standard in the preparation of crispy eggplant), a nice interior (we were sitting down in the "well"). There are many dishes of Uzbek and Tajik (at least, Wikipedia identified them that way) cuisine on the menu.

Beautiful interior - I would call it the "Bukhara loft". And delicious cuisine - Tashkent is tired of the kurdyuk in food, but it is not used here. We ate very tasty khanum, dimlyama with pike perch and kosa-somsa, I liked the presentation. There are several dishes for vegitarians as well

In an empty hall, I waited for the waiter for 10 minutes, studied the menu - and went home, since the location allows you to choose from half a dozen restaurants within a radius of 500 meters.

3 stars only for the furnishings and service. The guys are great. The courtyard and the music are pleasant.
But the food is not tasty. Absolutely no food. Shish kebab with fibers, salad dressing is terrible (it's better to serve just vegetables).

When I first came to Bukhara, I didn't know where to find a good restaurant or cafe. I asked a local resident who was selling on the street, and she immediately confidently recommended the Joy restaurant. I'm glad I listened to her! A very atmospheric place, interiors with a national flavor, polite staff, and most importantly - very tasty food! I liked shurpa the most, and I have never eaten such delicious tortillas anywhere else! I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

2* because: the service and atmosphere are 5*, and the food is 0* in price/quality. It was so tasteless and expensive in Uzbekistan, we did not eat. From the food: lagman (3 pieces of heavy-browned meat), seeds (well, it just didn't go in, expensive and not tasty), beef kebab (over-salted, poorly chewed, 30% left on the plate). From drinks: Bellini cocktail: an incomprehensible mixture, as if it were a new beer and peach juice. The staff is really very polite, but meat and food are the worst experience in Uzbekistan for 6 days of stay.

We visited this restaurant in the middle of April 23. The staff is very polite and involved. I'm a vegetarian and I found a lot of delicious dishes there — lentil soup was generally the most delicious in my life 😁
