Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin! The name of the first cosmonaut on Earth is well known to everyone living on the planet that he was the first to fly around. His name is immortalized all over the world in hundreds of monuments. So Karlovy Vary (KV) paid tribute to his memory and respect. The monument was erected geographically at the KV International Airport. There is a parking lot 25 meters from the main entrance to the airport building. On Cosmonautics Day - April 12, employees of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Moscow, together with guests and local residents, lay flowers at the monument.
There are two more places dedicated to this event in KV. Later, I will mark it on Yandex maps and post photos.
