I really love this place. I live nearby, I regard it not as a cemetery, but as a park next to my house. A large area, clean, bright, the atmosphere is a little sad and calm (as befits a cemetery). In the summer of 2020, I even went on a tour here, it was very interesting, a place with a history. There is a park nearby, where I like to sit on a bench and read in the summer. Visually, I really like the church and the cemetery gates, I have photographed them a hundred times in different lighting and from different angles.
I recommend this place to tourists and those who want to delve deeper into the history of Minsk. If you find a tour of this cemetery, be sure to go!!

Calvaria (Calvariae - Golgotha) is the oldest cemetery in the city, it has been operating for about 170 years, but it is said that it is even more venerable. Of course, some crypts and tombstones are in a ruined state, but time devours everything, and this is especially evident here. In general, this is a clean, well-groomed and incredibly interesting place.

When I was alive, I lived nearby. I came here every day. Those were good days. I ate and slept here sometimes. My main dream was to fall asleep here forever. Well, I fell asleep. Now they bring me food. I like everything, the coffin was lowered smoothly, the ground was dug up two meters...why? Overall, everything is great! I advise everyone to sleep here... with me. Conversations with the night watchman are priceless. Mikhalych, you are the best!

A large (more than 30,000 graves and covers an area of more than 14 hectares) and an old (there has been at least since the 18th century) cemetery.
Many famous people are buried here (Neil Gilevich, Ivan Naumenko, Yanka Luchina, Jan Damel, Jan-Boleslav Lutskevich, etc.)
. Most of the graves are well-groomed, it is clear that they are being watched.
