It is a very interesting and atmospheric place. The hakham is historical from the 13th century, but was restored in 1950. Restored for the local population, definitely not a tourist destination. Therefore, the prices are gentle. In October of the 24th year, 500 and something liras room (without time limit) and 240 for peeling with a mitten and washing.
It is better for impressionable and gentle ladies not to come in! To fans like me, welcome, you will be delighted!
I came on Saturday at 16 o'clock, in 32 degrees of heat, passing by. Slippers, towels, hair dryer - everything is there.
My aunt tore off my skin, which was familiar in a mitten, so that it was already possible to start whining)), soaped quickly. At first you sit in a room strangely called a SAUNA, about which there is even an inscription above the entrance. But there is only wooden flooring from the sauna, everything else is from the hammam. It's humid, the temperature is about 45 * C, it's definitely not a Russian steam room. But you will start sweating there easily and quickly. After that, your aunt will wipe you off)). Then you can sit there indefinitely. Like me. And also walk around with a mitten. Or just bask on the marble. When you come out, there will be a large cotton towel with a terry cloth.
This hammam really looks like a real one, There is no tourist gloss, that's how it happens. There were two other Turkish women with me.
I was already in a similar hammam next to the Karite Church about 10 years ago, but it was built in the 16th century)), and this one has been rooted in the ground since the 11th century.

An interesting place. Authentic. The cost for February 2025 is 1,140 liras (lower than in tourist places). You can stay without any time limit. It is heated with firewood. Changing booths with transparent glass. Towels and rubber slippers are provided. We took our slippers from the point of view of hygiene standards. Services in the women's room (scrub and massage) are quite formal: not for long at all. Perhaps because there were quite a lot of people - about 15 people in the entire hammam. Scrub with one washcloth for everyone. During the scan, the auntie master sang in Turkish. Tea was not given at the end. While the men were given😅. There were fewer people in the men's room, and the two bath attendants were able to pay much more attention to their clients than the women in the women's room received from their bath attendants. We made this conclusion after completing the procedures.

I was looking for a good Hammam without pathos, for the locals. I liked this one. There are separate men's and women's sections. We came with a friend for lunch. There were almost no people. We were warned at the entrance that payment is only in cash. They gave me a dressing room and a key to it. After that, they took me to the steam room. Two sets of 10 minutes each and the massage therapists came for us. They did the scrub with a glove and soap. After that there was a massage. Everything was clean and new. There were no foreign smells. I really liked it. After all the procedures, we changed towels and sat drinking tea in the lobby. The program was chosen for 790 liras. I liked everything! I recommend it! Tea and water are optional.

It's a nice, not pretentious place. My husband is a fan of baths. He visits similar places in every country. I was skeptical about the boors. But he returned satisfied. Like it. It's all clear. Don't be afraid to go to this hammam, on the contrary, go for sure!
It differs from the hammam for 60 euros per person, which is full in Istanbul, but this is its feature! A real local hammam is not for pretentious people. But I can tell you everything cleanly. I bought my mitten, but a full Turkish woman, smiled and said that it was a pathetic semblance of what is used in a normal hammam. A couple more times I went to the sauna myself, lay down to warm up my body, washed myself, as is customary in such establishments, sitting in the lotus position, pouring myself with a cup from the sink. Happy, clean and relaxed, I went home! There is a hair dryer, if anything, good and fashionable, but only one. Considering that there were three of us, there was no queue to dry our heads. The men's and women's departments are separate! My husband liked it too. An elderly Turkish bath attendant also rubbed it to shine)))

I visited this hammam in October 2024. The choice was made due to the territorial proximity to the hotel and affordable prices for services.
Everything that was written earlier I can confirm is authentic, simple, not a tourist place, they do not speak English, and even more so in Russian. It didn't stop me from enjoying the process.
The cost is 750 Turkish lira.
In terms of time, peeling and washing with soap foam are faster than stated, in the steam room (sauna) - without restrictions.

We were not looking for a tourist hammam. That's why we decided to go here, but I'll make a reservation right away that the issue of sanitation here is quite free-form, so those who are not used to public baths, it's better not to go.

The hammam itself is antique, it is obvious that it is worn out.
Steam, you should not expect heat like in our sauna. It's more like a dry sauna, where you sweat well if you sit down.

My husband and I chose this hammam based on not bad reviews and decided to relax on the last day. Well, what I can say is not shabby inside, you can see that with the story and this is the only plus .We took a hammam without a massage for 1140 lira (3420₽) , the employee was very insistent on a massage . They barely understand Russian at all. There were only tourists .the quality is 1 point, everything is very fast, cleaned with one brush, washed well, nothing was shown how or what. They sent me to wash afterwards without a steam room for peeling and foam massage (in fact, no massage, only washing with soap), they sent me to rest, and they didn't even offer me tea.It took an hour. Don't waste your time and money, it's not worth it.

Однозначно рекомендую! Классное место и хорошее обслуживание. Не сказать что на отлично, но очень душевно, место древнее, цены не завышены!! Для знакомства с хамамом самое то , цена соответствует (230 вход просто погреться + 70 комплекс + 5 чай), без лишних слов поскребут кожу и с пеной разомнут мышцы после того как прогреетесь. Не рассчитывайте на проф массаж, но кровь разгонят. Долго даже на плите этой не пролежишь после всех процедур- душно, хоть и очень хочется.
Дальше окутывают в полотенца, и садят к печке сушится под чаек. Короче олдскул!)
1-2 часа вполне хватает на все, единственное это раздельные отделения для М и Ж, но это даже минусом не назовёшь)

Towels are provided on site, clean and smell nice.
Of course, it is better to take your own slippers with you, the same applies to hair and body wash products. (Slippers and shampoo are there, shampoo is so-so, but you will not be the first to have slippers)

A classic local hammam, not a tourist one. Like a public bathhouse. No tourist frills. Everything was given on the spot (slippers, several towels). The washcloth is normal, yes, it is used for everyone. I brought mine, but the employee didn't rub it, it's not like that. Overall, the feeling is pleasant. Like at home, carefully washed. They didn't give me tea, but I didn't ask for it. It makes no sense to sit alone with local aunts without knowing Turkish.
Unfortunately, inflation broke all records in 2022.
The prices are as follows (December 2023):
390 liras (1300₽) - just enter and use the hammam
530 liras (1700₽) - enter and a sweet Turkish woman rubs you, then soaps and rinses
140 lira (450₽) - oil massage for 20 minutes.
There was no massage, I was just rubbed with oil.
For comparison: now a standard complex in the tourist zamami costs from 50 euros (~5000₽).

There are only tourists in the hammam, apparently its historicity captivates, as well as me. I go to public baths in different cities, including old baths in provincial cities of Russia, but it wasn't very good at all. The feeling of unsanitary conditions did not leave. It was cool even for a hammam, only hot water saved. I ordered a kese massage and a soapy one, I had not yet had time to warm up as the employee came to do a kese, then a quick soapy one. Everything is very fast, soaping
and massage can not be called. On the positive side, only clean towels and sheets. I sincerely advise you not to, if you want to have fun, then it's better to visit another place.

I've been here twice.
The cost is 330 liras for: first rinsed, then stayed in a non-hot sauna (but this is enough to open the pores), then you are rubbed with a sponge (Turkish), then they do a foam massage (about 5 minutes), then they rinse and let you wash your hair.
I went before I flew to sunbathe in another country and it was important for me to remove the gryazuka from my body, I think this place is perfect for this.
After arriving back, I went again and took an additional massage for 100 lira. One of the bath attendants does it. It does well, although fast enough and not for relaxation, but to stretch the muscles. That's what I wanted.
There are not many people. The first time there were only 5 of us, the second time there were 2.
The price is likely to become more expensive because the exchange rate is changing.

I barely forced my mother to go to the hammam for the first time, in the end everything turned out wonderfully, we were satisfied. We arrived an hour before closing time. We doused ourselves with water, steamed, then two magnificent Turkish women rubbed us with a washcloth, then there was a foam massage. Wonderfully simple!
They give towels before and after, slippers, shampoo. It's all clear. You lock the dressing room with a key.
The building is also so old, the ceilings are high, you're steaming under the dome.
At the moment, the price for a single visit is 160 liras, for a visit + scrub and massage 220 liras.
We are very glad that we went there!

Women work well, don't fuss, and don't rush. Personally, I managed everything with this deputy, I was in the morning. And they washed it, and it was heartwarming. We even sang with the bath attendant, she is big and warm).
The total price for the complex is very small.
In addition to soap massage, a simple massage can be ordered, a sauna without restrictions is free of charge. I took a massage, it's rustic, it doesn't reach well, but I still recommend it for sensations. And yes, it's better to take your own cream or oil.. and you need to take a hair dryer with you, there is no one there).

I bought a queso in advance, I did the right thing, indeed, they wash everyone with one washcloth!!!!! I was with my daughters, they are shocked by the surroundings and the service. The peeling lasted 5 minutes, there was essentially no massage (suppressed on the back for at least 3 minutes). 1. I compared all the reviews that were on the Internet for all the hamams in Istanbul, and decided to visit this one, since I was primarily interested in price, quality and location.
2. I even took towels from the hotel with me, bought a washcloth there for 20 Lira, I was afraid that their own, I would be rubbed after half the women of Istanbul, as they wrote in the reviews, And that they would cover me with dirty dried towels, Dirty throws in the trash, and she dries which they take out of the washing machine I saw it myself.
3. I took the towels with me in vain, they were just as clean.
4. The steam in the hammam should not be hot. At first, we warmed up in an ordinary Finnish steam room, after 15 minutes, when we were sweating, we were invited to the washing department. The cost of the procedure is 110 Lira + the cost of a glove
is 20.5. I spent exactly 2 hours in the hammam, Chatted with other visitors, warmed up, sang Russian songs, had a great time.

On the contrary, the foam massage was cool, relaxing, BUT not long, about 2 minutes.
It is also better to take your own towel, because they do not wash the towels that they have... My flight was just hung out to dry (I was shocked) ....
The hammam itself is clean, very cozy. You can sit and warm up for at least 40 minutes.
It's better to take your own slippers too, so that you don't pick up the fungus.
They don't serve tea in the women's department, but it's a pity. It is better to go to the men's room, there is tea, sugar, and a hair dryer to dry your hair.

Yes, yes, they rub everyone with one glove. There is no couple in the hammam, maybe this is due to the fact that I came an hour before closing time. They give you a bowl and you water yourself.
