On April 25, the institution completely deteriorated. Previously, the food here was delicious, and more than once we specially stopped here for delicious food and for the pleasant surroundings around. And now twice the food is not close to what it was before.
And if everything is beautiful and in place with the dishes and flowers and plants in the front garden, then the food is a real problem. Previously, the same sponge was with sausage and meat and some spices, but now it's an incomprehensible bland, tasteless liquid with a couple of meat fibers. Even the draniki are bland and about nothing. There is a feeling that such concepts as salt, pepper, spices are absent in the kitchen as a class. The level of food depends on the strength of the average canteen.
I understand that times are not easy, but when you go to a deli and get sausages with bread tastier than in a cafe, why would I need that cafe? The client's trust is not easy to earn and easy to lose. I've been fed twice, and I'm very unlikely to come here again. Sadness
For 2023, I'll leave a review for history.
Draniki with a sponge or roast are just fire.

Kharcho is in the Belarusian adaptation, but it is quite satisfying and tasty.

Every time we travel from St. Petersburg to Grodno as a family, we stop at this cafe for lunch. We work up an appetite on purpose. You can sit inside the cafe and eat outside. It's very atmospheric. They cook quickly, everything is fresh.
Whatever you order, whatever you try there, everything is delicious. And what kind of draniki, mmmmm, my love! Sorrel soup, mushroom soup, cabbage soup, sausages - yum-yum. Everything is homemade, handmade. Very friendly staff! Thanks! We will come back to you soon.

I always stop for a snack when passing by. I adapted to make an order by phone when approaching Volozhin. I arrive at the cafe, and the order is ready, no need to wait. Expectation and reality did not match :)
Delicious, like at home, but there are some small disadvantages. For example, the pancakes were raw inside, the sticky dough stuck in the mouth when bitten, although they were ruddy in appearance.

We often drove by, but somehow we couldn't get in. Finally, we purposefully came to eat here, we wanted a simple homemade meal.. AND WE DID NOT LOSE! God, it's been a long time since we've eaten delicious food.. We ordered borscht, pancakes with meat and pancakes with sponge. Homemade borscht, rich, thick with sour cream) and draniki?? The minced meat is fresh, no notes of spoilage and attempts to hide it with a lot of onions, the dranik itself is delicious and of course with sour cream) when the pancakes with a sponge were brought, I was surprised and a little upset, I explain: I was upset because there were only 2 pancakes, but I was glad to have a large plate with a sponge) however! 2 pancakes are what you need, no more, no less) pancakes like grandma's - not super thin, not super thick, thick sponge, with pork and a piece of homemade sausage, mmm) we ate with great pleasure. As for the prices, everything is acceptable despite the fact that the volume of food is quite large. The staff is helpful and friendly. Serving dishes in pottery is unusual. I really liked the taste of the food, for me it is much more important than any flaws in the atmosphere. I advise you to visit)

I went to Belarus for a week for a gastronomic orgasm from draniki, visited LidBir, was in Lida, Grodno, passing through villages, and nowhere have I tasted better draniki than here.
Here, if you ordered pancakes with bacon, that's what they brought, and not like in other places they bring pancakes with bacon, with ham, but there are no bacon.
The sorrel soup was also sooo delicious.
The only place in the Grodno region where I got everything I wanted from the cuisine of the Republic of Belarus.
