Special thanks and respect to the border guard of Kamenny log for understanding and conscientiously fulfilling his duties (badge number 01 and badge number 0388)
A terrible border crossing stood for 15 hours, arrived at 12:00 left at 3:00 a.m., 3 cars were allowed at 1 o'clock, only trucks were allowed at night.
Be sure to book an electronic queue. At the entrance, the site showed 30 cars. In fact, the Electronic queue was delayed for 5 hours, the total queue shifted by 8 hours. There were only 14 waiting in line on 07/29/2022!!! hours. At first we got up without booking, then we booked. I will put it neutrally, there are no complaints about the staff, they are polite, attentive and sympathetic. But as a result, we missed the plane, lost the day and the cost of tickets. It seems to be an unconventional situation :)
I want to say a lot about this transition, but I can't scold here.
I will add only constructive criticism: make a full-fledged cafe inside the terminal, or else 3 ducats with a wino and cigarillos, and you can't buy ice cream and drink coffee / tea with a bun.
The horror. It takes 5 hours to get to Lithuania and 9 hours back, while the procedure itself takes 10 minutes on each side. It's just that the guys smoked bamboo for several hours. At the same time, everything is polite to the linear staff on both sides without complaints

I want to write a review about the best checkpoint in Belarus, in my opinion. Yesterday, January 4, 2022, I called all the checkpoints to get information. But it is the Stone Log that is the best. There are really professionals working there, people who are on guard for people, not cattle. I have a difficult situation and have not been able to get a sensible answer anywhere. Unfortunately, the rest of the points were very rude. But the Stone Log, starting from the operational duty officer and vet. The controls were sympathetic to my situation. As a citizen of Belarus, I was not particularly strong in such matters, but ALL the staff at this checkpoint explained everything competently, accessible and politely. I, and not only I, believe that only such people should work in such places, because they are the face of Belarus. And the staff of the Kamenny Log checkpoint are the most beautiful, responsive and the best faces of Belarus! Thank you for your responsiveness, and just a human attitude!! I want to wish you an easy service, good health to you and your loved ones!
We repeatedly crossed the checkpoint in both directions by car. The waiting time is from 20 minutes on weekdays to 6 hours on holidays and weekends. The territory is tidy and clean. There is a dutik, but only when crossing towards Lithuania. The work of border guards and customs officers is coordinated.
I do not recommend crossing on holidays - registration is very slow on the Lithuanian side, so huge traffic jams are formed. And Belarusians have to restrain the flow due to the slowness of the Lithuanians...
I may have ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time, but I passed the border for 13 hours with two dogs in the car

The delay is even by e-mail.queues for at least 4 hours. There are no conditions. It's just tin and bullying people. The fee for leaving the Republic of Belarus is accepted by a woman with the speed of a snail and prints documents on a museum printer (matrix). Whoever organized all this is either not himself, or just mocking people. No more footwork.
I really like the checkpoint, I try, if possible, to cross the border here. There are often queues, but the staff work very quickly and harmoniously, do not find fault, are very polite and will help fill out the declaration. The main thing is to follow the established rules and everything will be OK)
Repair of the crossing from Lithuania. It's not very fast. The passage time is at least 5 hours. And if you have a dog with you, it's generally hard.

Well, so far I can only give an assessment based on old experience, and it's not very pleasant.
Long queues, disgusting service, and most importantly, this is the attitude of customs officers and border guards who look at you with suspicion and discontent, as if you were a notorious criminal who, on top of everything else, instead of staying at home (or in prison), wanders across the border and forces them to work.
I hope that now that the borders are closed, they can finally enjoy their vacation.
We passed on 3.01.20. The work of customs officers at the Lithuanian border was more efficient and responsible.
But it's not about the employees, it's about the travelers.
Having arrived at the border of Belarus, you stand for a long time waiting for passport control and car checks. It turns out that people from the end of the queue approach the checkpoint and go through passport control, creating a queue and detaining those in it who already have a car in front of the barrier. I.e., I drove up, I need to give my passport, they put a mark in it and inspect the car, and I miss it. Everything is fast enough. But at this moment you are standing in line for control, because people with passports came from the "tail" of the queue.
There is no order and no algorithm.
And what to write ) Currently (epidemic) This is one of the two mapes that operate on the RB -Lithuania border, the rest are closed altogether. Passenger cars are NOT allowed to pass (only a few cars with Belarusian license plates, I don't know why they are allowed to pass). Cargo vehicles are moving, the ruts are big (from the forest parking lot), then small ...
The Lithuanians put up a military tent at the entrance, brought the military to help, who measure the temperature for EVERYONE at the entrance to Lithuania. Belarusians do the same when you enter the Republic of Belarus from Medininkai. If the thermal imager shows a person's temperature above 37 degrees, then they "twist the flippers" and lead them into a tent, they insert ordinary thermometers there and double-check!
The item itself is normal. But he is on the main, obvious, "direct" road from Minsk to Vilnius. Queues are long and often take place, especially on the eve of weekends and holidays. The queue is often assembled due to the lower bandwidth of the adjacent side.
Sometimes (see online information about on-line queues), it makes sense to drive further to a more free checkpoint.
We often use this checkpoint because of the good organization and respect for travelers with dogs.
As a wish: the electronic customs declaration must contain the possibility of specifying "temporary export" and "return import" for the car. Now we have to add this by hand, and then if the customs officer shows goodwill and initiative.
It is necessary to introduce digital technologies sooner so that filling out and entering data into the database becomes easier for citizens as well.
And more. In case of personal problems with one of the cars crossing the border, it is necessary to take it out of the queue to a special inspection/ waiting place so as not to delay all
other cars in the queue for an extra hour or two.
It's time to adjust the point to the frequent influx of cars on holidays and weekends. Now there are no normal toilets, there are two toilets, but this is terrible. And if you stand with the children at night? Do not buy hot food, snacks, etc. There are no complaints about the customs itself, but at the exit to neutral they got the smartest ones who pretend to go to duty-free, and then they go without a queue to check out. This should be organized, we would make an electronic queue. And make more toilets on the territory of the checkpoint, they also stand there for hours!
Full ppts!!! In a nutshell. I arrived around eight in the morning, there are a dozen and a half passenger cars ahead. For an hour and a half without the slightest movement, a bus with people in the uniform of the border service drove towards them, apparently they were replaced. The traffic started. An hour and a half to enter the inspection point and go through the formalities. Then three hours in line to leave no man's land and pass through the control of the Lithuanian side. Three hundred meters of no man's land. This is after 12 hours at the wheel. I decided to make a small circle back and go through Latvia and exit on the M9 near Sebezh. I have never regretted it. It took 40 minutes to cross the border. The track is worse than the Minsk one, but in general it is fine.
When leaving Belarus, the inspection and verification of documents is carried out quickly, there are no questions, but at the entrance to Lithuania this is the finish, I don't want to say anything, but ** you can walk faster, inspect cars faster, check documents faster, and not like on a walk. At the exit from Lithuania, this is the finish line, to stand for 3 hours in order to check documents without checking the trunk, and you need to be more polite with people, otherwise how to explain yourself... well, they are really slow there, whatever you say, and this time they pumped up something at the entrance to Belarus, well, they delayed checking everything. I'm not going through this crossing anymore.
Travel towards Lithuania with children under two years old if you said it yourself at the first post and drove past the entire queue takes 20 minutes
But back to the narrow passage, you need to go to the post to pass the control, talk about children under two years old and that's it, no one misses two lanes for trucks and cars
In passenger cars, there are overbiddings of clothes and borygs of salyarki
No one will miss it
It's too bad that there is no dedicated lane for cars with children and buses

The border guard is the best and most importantly the fastest people! They love our people very much, they are always in a hurry to make our lives better.
In fact, it takes a long time to stand. The toilet on the RB side is just a work of art))) in general, it is very convenient to go on vacation through Lithuania. But it is better to go by bus or minibus. Driving your car for a long time, at any time of the day.
Inhumane conditions for both passing people and a lack of humanity among officials. The checkpoint is unusually stretched, the buildings themselves are already dilapidated, there is no hot water. Inadequate leadership in relation to personnel, and even more so to those crossing the border.
The circumstances of the pandemic are ignored, only functions exist.
In summer, there are huge queues during the day and they pass slowly, especially Lithuanians. At night, you can skip very quickly, recently at one o'clock in the morning you passed both borders in half an hour. Although once, also at night, the Belarusians were sent for an X-ray and did everything very slowly - I lost more than an hour. The Lithuanians here seem to be loyal, they don't find fault, but for some reason they work slowly.
The Belarusian customs works very efficiently and professionally. Thank you for the human attitude!
The only thing to be prepared for is that if there is a large flow of cars, crossing the border may take 4 or more hours.
It is a very inconvenient transition, it always takes a lot of time for a simple one in your pocket between customs clearance and the barrier to exit the customs zone. Inside 3 buttercup stores, one of them has a discount on the Euroopt card.
The checkpoint is large, but the border guards do not show much activity on holidays. Crossed the Lithuania-Belarus border: from the entrance to the border to the exit from the border on the Belarusian side - 6 hours and 15 minutes!
Do not participate in mass migrations during the holidays!
A good pass. I have been traveling to Vilnius often for the last 3 months and have always passed the border quickly. We were lucky. Lithuanians with young children skip the queue, well done.
Guys, our Slavic brothers work well and quickly. They check it out and make it out quickly. They are polite and kind-hearted.Thank them for their Service!
On January 4, 2020, we got into a long traffic jam in the direction of Lithuania, we stood from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the Lithuanians did not have a traffic jam in general. And so, if you're lucky. Well, the classics of all such checkpoints are wildly creepy restrooms
There are no complaints about the work of border guards and customs officers on both sides - this is their job, and they know better how to do it. There is only one claim that the bus cannot pass from neutral to the Belarusian side - there is no bus channel. And in the days of a large flow of cars and trucks, this problem becomes more acute. Nothing will change from writing a review, but I would like to
They still can't make a storage device for trucks, like the Lithuanians, after all, this is the central checkpoint on the Lithuanian border, but still people have to stand and move in line for several days.
On March 8, I passed this checkpoint from Lithuania to the Republic of Belarus. I stood in the red corridor instead of the green one . Our valiant customs officers took it as arrogance . They searched the car inside three times , then for an X - ray . The sediment of course remained .
