Gorgeous ruins, a full-fledged city, it's very cool to walk there. Admission costs 3 euros. We went up on foot from the sea and in general there are some ruins all the way along the way, some just haven't been dug up, and others are not needed by anyone
The place is of stunning beauty and mood. We were absolutely delighted. I even wanted for a moment to be in a time when the city lived, was full of events, in order to look from the inside at the way of life, the lives of people of that era. It's a miracle!!
Entrance is paid. 110 Lire per person, for children too. It was 10 years ago, everything has changed a lot. We made good tracks, everything is clean and beautiful everywhere.
The area is very beautiful! Not much has been able to survive, but the place is definitely worth a visit. Entrance fee is 105 liras per ticket, free for children, the walk took 2 hours with children
A leisurely walk through the ruins of the ancient city for one and a half to two hours. Entrance is paid if there is a small souvenir shop and a place to drink tea. I recommend you to visit.
Kanytellis is one of the many cities of Cilicia. It's interesting in its own way, it's a pity that little has been preserved. The sinkhole is especially interesting - it looks like there used to be a lake at the bottom. A significant part of the city is the Necropolis, the actual residential part is not so large. Since there is no mountain nearby, there is no traditional Acropolis. Only one tower for security.
Beautiful, clean, like a touch of history. Tickets are bought at the entrance, you do not have to wait, there are no queues. It takes 1-2 hours to visit.
An amazing place: a sinkhole in the center with statues carved into the rock, temples with sarcophagi and an olive oil factory. One of the ancient settlements with its own mysteries
