A good park for walking, there is a place to sit, there is shade, excellent views of the city, the sea and the mountains. At the southeastern tip of the park there is an excellent underground parking with toilets of 70 liras for 3 hours (unlike private parking attendants who charge 100 liras per hour in the old town). We parked the car, walked around the park and the old town, all within walking distance and took 2 hours.
This site is located near Kaleiçi (up the hill): it offers panoramic views of the mountains + Ferris wheel + sea. It's a pleasure to watch.
Quietly. Calmly. Comfortably.
An ideal place to spend time alone and with friends/family. There are playgrounds for children, cafes, benches. Pleasant music is playing.
A beautiful park, albeit a small one. A cool cafe with a sea view and samovars. There is a playground. It's a pity that one was demolished. It was more fun with two)
A beautiful park is a three-minute walk from the Ramada Plaza Hotel. We often walked in the park, I liked that there is a playground, comfortable benches, a cafe where you can have a snack and drink coffee or tea. The park overlooks the embankment and a beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the sea, mountains, passing pleasure ships. There are a lot of plants, tangerine trees, strewn with colorful tangerines, palm trees with trimmed tops in the form of pineapples)), bougainvilleas, pines, many other plants and flowers. If you walk through the park past cafes, there will be an entrance to the street of the old town, where small shops, craft shops, souvenir goods, small cozy hotels, an ancient hammam, a mosque and restaurants, and just narrow picturesque streets with old houses are located. On one of the streets we went out to Adrian's Gate, crossed through them and found ourselves on the central shopping street, where there are many shops, eateries, tram and buses. The second exit from the park at the statue of the Water Carrier is a drinking fountain where you can drink water in the heat, and next to the square there is a large round fountain, the building of the Consulate of Russia. Then there is an exit to the main street of Antalya, where there is a tram, buses, endless cafes, shops and just a beautiful city.
To be honest, even though it belongs to the category of local attractions, there is absolutely nothing to see there, I expected more. I wouldn't have gone there on purpose if I'd known. So, only if you decide to walk around the Old Town - you can go, sit, smoke on the bench at the same time))
In the evenings, there are noisy attractions, crowds of people, a large bazaar with lots of souvenirs and surprisingly affordable prices. If you do not go far into the depths, you can enjoy watching the sunset at sea or wander along the paths of the park, of which there are many.
The park is ordinary, but it is decorated with a round tower, like Martello Towers, which are scattered all along the coast of Ireland. However, the base of the tower is square
