Recently we were in Samarkand, we were told that this institution is number one. We arrived in the evening, there was a banquet on the ground floor, so all the staff was sewn up, and we waited 1.5-2 hours for the order. After a conflict with the manager, the order was finally brought, but by that time I had already changed my mind and the mood was spoiled. There was a layer of dust on the plates, glasses with fingerprints. We ordered manti, one waiter said that there was a dish, the other - that there was no dish. In general, it is strange that several waiters serve one table, because of this orders are confused and confusion. The next day we decided to give the institution a second chance, and we regretted it once again. We arrived in the afternoon, there were not so many people, we made an order, waited for about an hour, served again several waiters, the glasses were dirty again, instead of the ordered dish they brought someone else's, when asked if the order was confused, they answered that everything was right, when they started eating the dish, the waiter came, took the dish and said that it turns out it was not our order. We even thought, maybe this is some kind of prank, because it's so messed up - we still have to manage! In general, the food is delicious, but I have never seen such disgusting service anywhere else and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff does not speak Russian, and when you make an order in Uzbek, they also confuse the order. Any institution in Tashkent, even the most run-down, will be much better in terms of service. It becomes a shame, because foreigners come there, and what impression they have...

The best restaurant in Samarkand. Insanely delicious kebabs, rolls and lula. Large portions, nice prices. Delicious and cheap local Bagizagan wine. The service is at the highest level. They asked to bring a cake to congratulate the birthday girl, and the waiters came to congratulate a large crowd and sang congratulations. It was very unexpected and pleasant. An indicator of their cordiality and attitude towards customers. Definitely visit this restaurant.

I don't understand who writes good reviews. We decided to stop by, hoping to have a delicious meal. There were a lot of people, so we thought that in general it would be delicious.
but!
1) Very long service, waiters do not speak Russian
2) The menu is not authentic, photos and reality are two different things
3) Unsanitary conditions. Poorly cleaned
4) DECEPTION on the part of the institution. We ordered kebabs, brought portions 2 times less
5) HAIR in the food, to which the waiter simply removed it without even apologizing
6) Terrible greasy food from old spoiled foods.
Conclusion: never come here.
Saves only less interior.

We have always loved Karimbek for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. We arrived with a small dog. They wouldn't let me in. Not pet friendly. The attitude immediately deteriorated. We were in this restaurant with a group of 14 people. In order not to wait long for the order, we pre-ordered dishes by the time, as a result, after our arrival, 4 dishes were brought in 40 minutes with a difference of 30 minutes. We sit and wait. The waiters do not answer questions about the delay, and throw questions at each other.
They made a scandal, they said that the manager would serve them personally. She came, and immediately disappeared, she was never seen again.

It is completely unclear where such a rating and a score of 5.0 come from, an institution that you do not want to return to and do not recommend visiting. We ordered kebabs for adults and chicken soup for a child, after 45 minutes they brought another kebab, because the ordered one ended, and it was replaced without our consent. The soup was not brought to the child at all, it was also over, but they forgot to tell us about it. The beer is warm... the tortillas are not fresh.
So 15% of the service fee is also included in the bill!!!

We took a square of lamb (I don't remember the name, but it's not difficult to find it in the pictures on the menu)- it melted in my mouth! The portion is twice as large as Moscow restaurants. I barely finished my meal. I highly recommend it as restaurant number 1. The price tag for two with alcohol is about 2000 rubles. And it was mutton.
