Yesterday, on August 4th, we visited the Dolinka village Museum of Memory of Victims of Political Repression, and were simply stunned by the amazing tour! Many thanks to the guide Yuri Gamov!During an hour and a half of the tour, we experienced so many indescribable emotions that these impressions will remain with us for the rest of our lives!I would like as many people as possible to visit this Museum and understand how and what people suffered by the will of fate who found themselves in this terrible place.
It is a very atmospheric place, I recommend visiting it. The guide is a very competent and pleasant woman, she scooped up a lot of information. A ticket with a guide costs 2000 tenge, the only thing for a taxi there and back was 15 thousand, but it was worth it.
The scale of the museum and the interior are impressive. The museum staff perfectly preserved the atmosphere of that time: from bright classrooms to creepy basements. I was accompanied by a museum guide, who perfectly complemented everything I saw. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in history!
