I got lucky!
We had a rest from 12.01.25 -23.01.25 with a couple. I explain, "I got lucky." The hotel consists of two two-storey buildings with 10 rooms and bungalows of different sizes and facilities. The first building stands at the beginning of the uphill climb. The second one is at the very top, with everything else in between (bungalows, swimming pool, Thai houses, bike parking, breakfast reception, and all this is pretty steep uphill). We lived in the first building on the second floor of No.B-5 (see photo), just behind the 7-Eleven, 30-50 meters away, in the morning I conveniently went down to the store, took a sandwich or whatever you want, you can warm it up there, we didn't take breakfast. That 's why it was successful .that there is no need to go uphill and the store is nearby.
Room facilities: safe, microwave, kettle, dishes, sink, tiled floor, wardrobe with 11 wooden hangers, air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, one bedside table(?),tuff mirror,TV. The meal is on the balcony, there is a table and two chairs, a dryer. The shower is decent, the pressure is good, the heater is running, you can adjust the temperature yourself, the window is for ventilation, the floor dries quickly. We take toothpaste and a brush with us, who is not satisfied with the volume of shampoo (which is small and so as not to run and not to ask)I didn't find a hair dryer with me, I have a towel, but for beach towels you need to go to the reception and change there (and the reception is on the mountain). Cleaning every day (swept the tiled floor), two small bottles of water, two coffee bagsfor a day, that's why I bought coffee at 7-Eleven (8 sachets - 37 baht) tea is with you (they don't give it in the room). The bedclothes were changed once and the towel too, if you are not satisfied, tell the maid (somewhere from 13 to 15 hours you can grab them) and change the linen, add soap, shampoo.
The Wi-Fi is normal. The air conditioner is quiet.Do not turn on the fan at once, there will be herpes on your lips, liquid drops in your nose (I know that)
Now the mosquitoes: on the first day we slept with an open balcony, three mosquitoes came to visit, 7-Eleven and 75 baht helped solve the problem.
Now the ants : this is rather not a hotel problem, do not leave fruits, leftovers, crumbs, chips, etc. There will be no ants.
Lunch : Red corner -nearby , to the left ,inexpensive. It's also not far to the night market (or grocery store).
Beaches : both Karon and Kata are not far away, both are good (in their own way).
I can't discuss negative reviews, since everyone has their own requirements and then how to compare a deluxe -32 sq.m. and a bungalow of 16-20 sq.m. and here it is exactly where you get to (you got lucky). But there are decent bungalows here, they flew in with us and moved into a large bungalow, they were very satisfied. There is no noise in the territory, the rooms are also quiet, in the morning the birds sing (roosters crow to someone)
If I went to the same building again, I would go. The location is good, quiet, the beaches are cool, my head doesn't hurt in the morning (everything is in moderation)
I had a great time, and I wish YOU the same!!!
We bought a package tour through the online Travelata agency (Fun&Sun tour operator). The tour to this bungalow was relatively inexpensive compared to the others, but if we had known where we were going, we would have paid more. The hotel, as we understand it, belongs to the Indians with all the consequences.
CHECK-IN: we arrived at the hotel after 14:00 and were immediately checked into a bungalow, for which we paid extra for some reason, we thought that the bungalow was better than a standard room in a two-storey building. But judging by their interactions with the campers, they weren't bad.
ROOM: we were shocked, as the bungalow did not match the photos at all when booking the tour. The entrance door is an old interior door, with yellow painted walls inside, and the bathroom area is no more than 14-15 sq.m. The vacationing woman we talked to called this bungalow a doghouse. The bed in the corner is made of concrete (or something else, perhaps), lined with tiles - this is the first time we've seen this, to be honest. The mattress is hard, and there are some stains on the bedding. The bathroom door was an iron gate that slammed characteristically when closed. The bathroom is about 3-4 sq.m. There is no separate shower, you need to wash standing in the middle of the bathroom next to the sink and toilet, draining in the corner of the room in the floor. Only cold water is connected to the sink. The shower is connected to a running water heater, but the pressure is very weak. We tried to talk to the receptionist (through a translator, since no one understands a word of Russian) - it's useless, like you booked a bungalow, here's a bungalow for you, but there are no more available rooms. The next day, at a meeting with the hotel guide from Fun&Sun (Marina), we expressed our dissatisfaction with her, but it was no use, she continued to sell us excursions (as usual at inflated prices), but she did not solve our problem and we were not moved to another bungalow or room that would match the photos when booking the tour. I had to stay in this small bungalow, where there was nowhere to put my things properly (I had to ask for a small closet, hangers, since they weren't even in it) and one chair.
BREAKFAST: served directly on the street under a canopy (buffet), where they were cooked, which is generally the norm for Thailand. There were eggs, boiled or in the form of an omelet, fried eggs, 2-3 types of hot dishes (rather strange, we hardly ate them), tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, a couple of types of sliced fruits (often mango and something else), bread for toast and the toaster itself, an ordinary kettle for tea, coffee (instant of course), cornflakes, cookies, milk. In general, there was something to eat, but not like in a Turkish or Egyptian hotel.
WI-FI: it was, in general it worked almost without failures, but the Internet speed is not very high.
LOCATION AND TERRITORY: the hotel is located on a high elevation, it is difficult to climb, even for a healthy person. Our bungalow (S.7) was located at the very top and there was not even a normal path or steps to it, we just walked on the ground, and the corner of the mountain is quite large, not very safe. In general, the area is well maintained, the garbage was swept every morning, some bungalows are well located, there is a small swimming pool.
CLEANING: mediocre, swept, put 2 bottles of water. The toilet and sink have never been washed. The bed linen and towels were changed 1 time in 9 days. There were only 2 large towels for the body, there were no hand towels.
GARBAGE SORTING: we come to relax one evening (around 6 p.m.) after the beach, and there are mountains of garbage (mostly plastic and glass bottles) right next to our bungalow, several workers sort them out, put them in bags and take them away (apparently to be recycled). The noise is loud, the glass is rattling, and even with the windows and doors closed, it's uncomfortable to be in the bungalow. We tried to explain to them with gestures that they should finish, but it was useless, so we continued our work, it was already dark, they turned on the flashlights. So I had to go for a walk, because it was impossible and unpleasant to be there (as if you were resting in a trash can). We wrote to the hotel guide and completely ignored him.
THE PROBLEM WITH THE WATER: well, the "highlight on the cake" - on the last evening before our departure, around 11 p.m., the water supply to our bungalow was completely turned off (I don't know about others). There was no one at the reception. It is unclear where to call to write. I wrote to the hotel guide, but it was useless. So I somehow had to brush my teeth with water from the kettle and go to bed without taking a shower or washing properly. Well, they gave me water in the morning.
