Очень даже хорошая гостиница в Центре города! Величественно возвышается над прилегающими зданиями, что дает возможность, проживающим на верхних этажах вне зависимости от времени суток наслаждаться прекрасными видами города, а если повезет с номером, то и гор! На 25-м этаже находится видовой ресторан. Внизу - отличное фойе с баром "San-Francisco" и четко+слаженно работающим ресепшеном. Продумана система доступа на этажи - абы кто не проедет на верх без вашего на то ведома. Номера, даже стандартные - просторные и чистые. Система кондиционирования работает прекрасно, хотя в прохладную погоду лучше будет с открытым окном. Wi-fi - с простым доступом и исправно работает на всей территории гостиницы не глюча и не сбоя. Завтраки - это тема отдельного восторга! Если коротко, то очень разнообразный и сытный шведский стол. Несмотря на достаточно небольшое число столов (в соотношении с количеством номеров в гостинице) - тем не менее всегда есть свободные столы, поскольку персонал чётко следит за освобождающимися столами и моментально приводит их в чистый вид. Для желающих освежиться - есть выход на открытую террасу. Рекомендую!

Excellent modern hotel. Everything is at the highest level, from the reception to the room, the staff is polite, they clean every day. Location in the very center, everything is within walking distance, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. And plus a very beautiful view of the mountains from the window.

Неплохая гостиница, в очень интересном архитектурном стиле для своего времени. Внутри более менее цивильно. Географически место неплохое. С верхних этажей хороший вид. Из минусов. Не сработала карта при заселении, перепрошивали. С лифтами непонятно что, их вроде много, но ждать можно долго. Кормёжка не очень, с товарищем который жарит омлет и яичницу надо поработать над техникой. Ну и главная претензия, за что поставил 4 звезды а не 5. Это 1 кабинка туалета на первом этаже, на 25 этажный отель.. Которая вечно занята, и из бара приходилось ездить в номер на 24 этаж

I have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years. And the opinion is spoiling, unfortunately…
I want to add right away that breakfast, restaurants, cleaning - everything is fine.
Questions about placement…
The first two times - perfectly and without complaints.
The third one was given a two-room room (I booked a double standard), alas, I will not remember the floor, but a frank "scoop" with a characteristic smell of dampness. Without air conditioning and with screaming musicians under the windows…
The fourth time surpassed all the previous ones. We were settled for 3 nights in one junior suite room (condey is only in a room where there is no bedroom), then moved to the Queen Suite ... that is of course gorgeous, although there is no condey in the bedroom anyway. But you know what the surprise is? The "upgrade" of the room was to the floor where repairs are underway in the corridor. Well, that is, complete and capital, where forests, concrete and plaster. You go to your chic-shine on dust and construction debris 🤦♂️ So be careful to the 17th floor. At least in the next couple of months, you'll catch my misunderstanding there.
Nevertheless, the location is excellent, the historical building and for sure I will stay here again, I will give a chance to correct the spoiled opinion with the hope that everything will be repaired…
I would like to advise the hotel to warn guests about such surprises with construction sites and give them a choice.
And yes, the view from the windows is extraordinary, and the Fly Bar on the 26th floor is a magical place.

We must definitely stop here. We lived on the 25th floor. The noise from the bar was audible, but not critically. The rooms are not bad! The breakfasts are excellent! We highly recommend it!

Convenient location. Beautiful view from the window. It's a good room, but the water may suddenly run out and no one warns you.A good breakfast, but there is not enough space for breakfast, after 9 o'clock people walk with plates in search of a place. It is not possible to sleep, there is a disco under the windows, almost until the morning, everything can be heard in the room.

Отличная гостиница в самом центре Алматы. Здание не новое, окна деревянные, а не пластиковые, но внутри всё в отличном порядке, хорошо отремонтировано и почти не чувствуется возраста здания. Номера аккуратные и чистые. Окна выходят или на горы или на саму Алмату. Завтрак типа "шведский стол" очень хороший и разнообразный. На первом этаже, около входа, постоянно стоит сотрудник и проводит фейс-контроль входящих. Гостиница стоит денег, которые за неё просят.

I recommend not to give up breakfast at the hotel, it is very tasty, varied and tables on the second floor overlooking the hall, the entrance group. The rooms are clean, they take care of cleanliness every day. Due to its location in the city, the hotel is also conveniently located. There is a bus stop opposite, from where you can get to Medeo. There is also a cable car available, from which you can see the city of Almaty, surrounded by mountains. Beauty! If only the weather would allow you to enjoy the beauty, cloud cover is quite common, but it does not reduce your good mood.

The reception area is incredibly beautiful and comfortable, which does not interfere at all with the interiors of both floors and rooms
Inside, on the ground floor there is a cozy cafe, as well as a souvenir shop, where the best gifts of Kazakhstan have been painstakingly selected. Highly recommended!
The window first had a view of the micro mountain, and then a couple of hours later the majestic peaks appeared. True magic!

Отель на высоте, вид из окна 25 этажа - потрясающий! номер большой, комфортный, кровать очень удобная, питание - отличное, сервис - очень приветливый, отзывчивый.
Из минусов - лично мне не хватило света где стол-зеркало, использовать для работы темновато.
В остальном, все очень замечательно. Обязательно вернусь.

We stayed at the hotel in 2022. At that time, there were no complaints about the room, it was clean, the sets and tea were reported during cleaning, the breakfasts were excellent. When booking, we asked for a room with a mountain view, if possible, the request was satisfied, which we were very happy about :)
The only minus was that we were in a private car, parking was free for guests, we left the car number at the reception several times, but when leaving the territory we were asked to pay the parking bill all the time, we had to figure it out and spending time to prove that we are guests and we don't need to pay anything.
And so a great option to stay in Almaty, we recommend it!

An atmospheric place to stay at least for a couple of nights. Life here is in full swing 24/7.
The hotel is not new, you can hedge by choosing a superior room, not a standart. On high floors, you have to wait for hot water (up to 10 minutes at peak time). Comfortable beds and pillows, the bathroom is compact, there are not enough hooks for towels and a bathrobe. Cleaning depends on the maids on shift.
Friendly reception staff, but with a large number of guests at the same time at the counter, you have to wait a long time for a free employee. Great breakfast. There is a good coffee shop in the lobby. There are restaurants in the hotel building, including round-the-clock Noodles.
Indeed, it can be noisy from music from the street, especially if there is a concert nearby on the square, but no music from the bar on the top floor interfered (I lived on the 19th floor).
The location of the hotel is obviously excellent.

The hotel is good. Price is quality. Regardless of the room level, cleaning is equally good. The rooms have everything you need, change of towels and bed linen every day. Also in the rooms there are bathrobes, slippers, shaving and dental kits, shampoo, gel, etc. Separately, I would like to mention very good breakfasts, which are included in the price. Buffet, you won't leave hungry. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Все оч круто! У нас был не оч большой номер-21м,но с видом на горы,башню на гору кок тобе! Прям очень круто! Сквер внизу и основные достопримечательности в пешем доступе.крутые рестораны сверху и внизу ))
Основная проблема-звук из клубов по ночам ! Он очень слышимый! Мы закрывали окна и спали в берушах)) хотя сначала танцевали в этих же клубах!рамы окон деревянные-звукоизоляция 0

I really liked this hotel. The hotel building is considered, if I am not mistaken, a masterpiece of Soviet architecture (the times when the Kazakh SSR was part of the RSFSR). Good location. Clean, modern rooms, a variety of buffet breakfasts, friendly staff!

Гостиница расположена в красивом месте. Вид из номера шикарный.
Из плюсов: отличный шведский стол, персонал отзывчивый.
И «не плюсы»: цена за номер высокая, слегка переоценённая, ремонт давний и в номере не совсем всё свежее, ванная и туалет. Если бы не цена , то 5 -ты звёзд можно смело поставить, а так 4.

Мы были в Алматы впервые. Заселились в гостиницу "Казахстан" и остались в восторге. Ностальгия с детства - помню светильник у бабушки с дедушкой был в виде гостиницы. Снаружи здание советское, но как только переступаешь порог - попадаешь в сказку. Мы отдыхали с дочерью и выбрали стандартный номер, но это больше чем стандартный😍
О его плюсах можно говорить много:
1. Две огромные комнаты в которых есть всё необходимое: два телевизора, 2-х спальная и 1-ая кровати, диван с журнальным столиком, чайный комод, комод для одежды, два шкафа, вешалка, большая ванная комната (ванна, биде и сан.узел, все банные принадлежности - щетки, гели, шампуни, мыло, бритвенные принадлежности, горячий полотенцесушитель, халаты).
2. Кондиционер, холодильник.
3. Чайные принадлежности: электрический чайник, кофе, молоко, сахар, чай черный и зелёный. Две литровые бутылки воды.
4. Роскошный вид из окон, прекрасный холл, лифты.
5. Завтрак по принципу "шведский стол" шикарен: на любой вкус,и диабетикам, и тем кто на ПП, и любителям вкусняшек.
6. Приветливый персонал - парни на рецепшн: учтены все наши пожелания (ранний заезд - бесплатно), высокий этаж (дали 22); горничные тут же предоставили утюг.
ОДНОЗНАЧНО МЫ ВЕРНЁМСЯ К ВАМ СНОВА.

Top location, but the hotel itself is old Soviet. Gatherings of street racers and incomprehensible people are not uncommon under the windows, but on the other hand, the exits from the rooms from high floors are excellent, as are the breakfasts.

Одна из самых узнаваемых достопримечательностей Казахстана. Персонал молодцы. Внутри здания присутствует эпоха советских времён. Мебель старая. Телевизоры разные в разных комнатах. Кондиционеры не у всех есть. Освещение комнат слабое. Комнаты маленькие. Но, как говорится, не нравится не смотрите. И не надо выпендриваться. А так всё супер. Классная гостиница. Как говорится, всем не угодишь. Обзор классный, в любое время суток.

The rooms are somewhat strange (in terms of layout) - at least we got a corner room by the fire escape, the layout and layout of it leaves questions (?), also, somewhat tired furniture / furnishings. Perhaps it was us who got such a strange one (?). I don't know.

Clean rooms, regular cleaning, soft and comfortable beds. The breakfast is great.
The building is old, so there are repairs in some places, but it does not cause discomfort.
There is a good restaurant in the immediate vicinity. The location of the hotel is an additional plus.
