"The park '20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan' is an ideal place for family holidays and active pastime. There is everything for a comfortable stay: excellent playgrounds, picnic areas, cozy benches for relaxation, as well as specially equipped areas for sports. The park is perfectly maintained in cleanliness and order, which gives it a special charm. I recommend visiting this park to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and outdoor activities."
"The park '20 years of Independence' is a great place to relax and walk. There are well-groomed paths, beautiful green spaces and numerous attractions for children and adults. The atmosphere of the park promotes relaxation and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this park for anyone who wants to spend time outdoors in a pleasant environment."
The park is very clean, spacious, lots of greenery and flowers. It's a pleasure to come for a walk. Independence Park, a good idea with a description of the periods and events associated with this period. But everything is in Kazakh. I really wanted to read the whole story, but unfortunately I couldn't.
There are 2 official languages in the country, so why is Russian ignored?
It's a wonderful place. Not far from the train station. We arrived by train and took a walk there before flying to Moscow. Roses are very different and very fragrant. Calmly on a weekday. It's great with the baby!
A pleasant place for walking and playing sports. Well-groomed flowers, shrubs, trees and crumbling architectural compositions: "Baytershym" with a broken balustrade and broken bas-reliefs, cracked steles with achievements of 20 years of independence, rusting pyramids of unknown purpose, an uncomprehending and dried fountain. In winter, you have to be very careful - at the central entrance and on the bridge to Ordabasy there are areas covered with unrealistically slippery tiles.
There are few people, so there is practically no infrastructure, no cafe, no toilet in sight.
It is very interesting to hear the wind howling in chains on high steles near the flag. Beautiful view of the city from the alley above the cliff to the road and the Koshkarat. The rotunda gazebos, surprisingly intact and clean, connect the past and the present...
A good park for walking, especially in the morning. It was opened in honor of the 20th anniversary of Independence, once there was a flight school at this place in the old days, then in the 90s there was a clothing market.
The park is not the same as it was 7-8 years ago. 3/4 of the bulbs are lit in the lanterns, the bas-reliefs of the Friendship of Peoples were removed on the Bayterek, sealing all this with tiles, and crookedly and not beautifully. There is only one parody left of the fountain. But it is worth noting that the lawns and flowers are well maintained and watered. The trees are trimmed and, in general, there are pleasant sensations from the park. It is especially pleasant to sit on comfortable benches near the fountain in the evening. There is a place to go out with the children to get some air, enjoy the coolness but after sunset.

The park is large, there is a sports ground, not a big one. The fountain, however, is no longer working! There are many young trees, so there is little shade. In the evening, when the heat subsides a little, people go out with children, couples walk, the park is filled with people. You can go roller skating or cycling.
I liked the park! Lots of greenery, well maintained, lots of benches, there are no problems with the park, there is a great historical place behind the park, which is also parasitic
The park is good, but there are no paths among the trees for vacationers. In the heat, which is a frequent occurrence in Shymkent in summer, there is nowhere to hide.
A great park, probably one of the best in the city.
A huge disadvantage is that it was launched (the lanterns are burning weakly and there are a lot of burnt-out bulbs, the marble is not well maintained and again with burnt-out lighting, the gazebos are in terrible condition painted by inadequate citizens, the fountain requires professional maintenance).
Huge + it's a lot of colors, it's really great, as much as possible and as much as possible.
The result is that IT REQUIRES ATTENTION AND CARE!!!
A good park, well-maintained, trees and flowers are always watered, so the park is green and very beautiful, there used to be a dancing fountain, unfortunately now there is a pathetic resemblance of ten small streams left of it, I would like the fountain to be restored
A great place to walk! You can admire the order. In summer, it seems like a musical fountain works, but so far I haven't had a chance to personally observe it. It's also cool to walk along the river and sit with a coffee to go
An important place, with monuments telling about the country's independence. Unfortunately, it is poorly cared for: the inscriptions are half-erased, the ethnopark near the fortress is abandoned. I didn't see any people in the park (although I arrived on a winter morning - perhaps someone walks here in the summer).
There are more parks in our Sunny Green town of Shymkent. Akimat should not spend money on the left on the right. What I noticed is that these sprinklers are standing around the city just wasting water. They turn it on even when it rains. This is so, in my opinion, money is taken from the treasury
A good park, a lot of people are running in the morning or on horizontal bars and uneven bars. And in the evening you can take a walk to see the fountains. It's a pity there are no treadmills.
