I often visit this hotel at conferences, I really like the convenient location in the center of Almaty, in the golden square, convenient location, good transport interchange, beautiful place, I like the hotel itself with polite staff, delicious food, beautiful interior, it is very cozy and comfortable here, there is a swimming pool, sauna, fitness room. A very good hotel was on a business trip, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is very plentiful and varied. The location is also in the center to the green bazaar about 20 minutes on foot, there is a large shopping center nearby. There is an option to order dinners actually on the restaurant menu, national cuisine dishes are available, everything is very tasty. There is a swimming pool and a sauna, but the pool is already in need of renovation.

Pleasant hotel: polite staff, clean room, it seems small, but very cozy, very comfortable bed, slept great. The plumbing is a little old, the shower stall was heated. The view from the window is pleasant, even the mountains were visible from the side. You can open a window. The location is in the city center, which is very convenient. I enjoyed spending 5 nights here in 2021.
Such a comfortable mattress in a double suite. Delicious buffet breakfast, hot on marmites. I liked the delicious fresh salad of tomatoes and cucumbers of the RAVA variety, omelette and of course bacon from the contact grill. I shared my room with my colleague, very conveniently, taking into account the gender difference (he is a man) if there is a screen for changing clothes during the presence of another person in the room. Ventilation is excellent, especially in the toilet/ shower. The necessary cosmetics - Soap, shampoo, shower gel and toothpaste are available. However, hotel cosmetics are suitable for me only from a 5-star hotel chain.
But it was very comfortable to stay here in autumn. There is parking and extremely polite staff. I liked it! I will definitely stay in one of the hotels of your chain next time, but at a different address in your metropolis of Almaty. The main location is close to the office where my colleague worked.

The bathroom is perfectly white.

The restaurant serves European cuisine prepared with a soul. Very tasty! There is an aqua zone, the pool is small, but relaxing before going to bed and relieving fatigue helps perfectly.

An interesting location is in the courtyard, in the middle between residential buildings. Somewhat cramped passage for taxis and buses to the hotel entrance.
But the hotel has a small swimming pool and exercise equipment, so physical education students will find something to do in the morning or evening.
A good breakfast and coolness in the rooms are also a plus. If you go further along Gogol, you can also walk to the park of the 28th Guards of the Heroes of Panfilov, in which the majestic Ascension Cathedral is located!
Among the recommendations is to expand the range of beer, so far only one brand of local beer is available from draught, which is very good, but I would still expand it.

I lived in this hotel on Gogol Street, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there is everything that guests would feel comfortable, the breakfasts are not bad either, only the restaurant on the ground floor is small. And it's quite possible to live like this. Only when I lived there it was like Bombay!! The whole of India seemed to live there.

My new review of the old, once not a bad place to stay..Unfortunately, the Kazzhol hotel has outlived its usefulness..it has deteriorated and changed for the worse, one elevator does not work, it takes a very long time to wait and order a second elevator, in addition, it is impossible to go down the stairs, (the stairs are simply blocked by shields)not outside, not in the dining room, nowhere, because of the prolonged (necessary!) repair of the reception...although repairs are required everywhere, and the hotel is being repaired in pieces..outdated and old-fashioned, tasteless design of the dining room (photo attached), saturated with old smells of oils...regularly spoiled sour beans for breakfast, smelling of harsh ammonium, (there were such beans before the new year and this time)how can this not be noticed by the cooks?? Breakfasts have become monotonous, boring, cheap, pancakes are always cherished (I have never seen fresh pancakes fried), fried eggs are also cherished or yesterday's, amlets are not tasty..the vegetables are stale..There is no oil..only the spread. Well, in general, they turned a terrible shit out of the hotel..Where is the owner looking? 03.03.2024

Excellent hotel, good rooms, everything you need, decent prices, very responsive staff - will help with solving various problems, prompt, speak Russian, Kazakh, there is a shuttle service, there is a good restaurant at the hotel, large portions, cook delicious. The rooms are patched, the carpet is stained. The breakfasts are average. If you don't find fault too much, then it's tolerable, but we probably won't come back here. There are better options.

но мне отель очень-очень понравился!! на завтрак был шведский стол - все еля сравнительно не вредная, предназначена как раз для завтрака. сам номер был просторный, знаю, бывают и больше, но нам понравилось. шампунь, гель для душа, кондиционер для волос, зубные щетки и паста, шапочка для ванны, ватные палочки - все было. номер убирали каждый день, приносили воды каждый день, по просьбе принесли два халата. был телевизор, кондиционер. постельное белье чистое, приятное. на нулевом и первом этажах есть туалет для всех. был так же бассейн, тренажёрный зал. прекрасный отель для туристов, персонал приветливый, не грубил 😇
